I dunno, I think at Jeremy's shop there was just a lot more "real work" instead of "fun work". Don't get me wrong, they work their florida asses off over at the cleeter shop as well but it's not like they are taking customers AND doing content. So when George made the switch, all of the work he does drives content only. Even if its prepping crown vic's or mowing the grass or swapping parts on one of the cars, it's all content derived, and when the content gets made it's kind of a reward instead of just a paycheck. You can watch the video and say "I helped put that out" instead of "well, that's another vehicle that we buttoned up for someone else..."

Doesn't help that he never finished projects he promises. That's the downfall of alot of CZcamsrs. I love that George is so welcomed into the McFarland Race shop. At first I thought maybe he’d regret it, but the opportunity for professional growth as well as fun per dollar earned is way higher now. Plus now he’s not racing his daily truck.

Started the video and saw the blazer emptied and was like OH SH*T! George isn't playing around. Love seeing the blazer content and George growing as a driver while the blazer gets faster and faster. Watching the cars gradually get faster and shave time off is my favorite part. I started watching shortly after the channel started uploading frequently and have loved watching Leroy from the beginning to the ABSOLUTE SAVAGE he is now.

GARRETT, One thing about the IAT's is the reading is delayed. The sensor itself takes time to heat up to the actual temperature in the manifold. So, when you see it low in the beginning of the run, then building, it's not what you think it is... or more accurately, it's not reading correctly until the end of the run. It's probably better to calculate the IAT based on ambient temp at atmospheric pressure, boost pressure and estimate cooler efficiency at 80%. Or, just don't have timing pull until you see temps well above what you're currently reading. Ethanol will take it, no problem. Especially intercooled. You can test and see the sensor reading delay by placing a sensor in front of an already running heat gun. The temperature is whatever it is and static, right? How long does it take to get from atmospheric temp to whatever reading it settles at? It's definitely not even close to being an instant reading.

@@TakenBaconftw methanol cars I have seen literally get condensation on the intake, most big power setups on m1 don't run any intercooler at all. It's a mess to deal with though, because it's corrosive and eats away aluminum.
