    my pops and I are actually right this minute working on my wife’s Corolla S, after dealing with tire issues and battery corrosion, we find the alternator needs to be replaced, and that’ll be the final concern guaranteed, this vid has been very helpful no doubt!

    Ohhh man, at 1:14 you are supposed to push the ground wire plastic cover/cap to the right, then pull the cover up. ( to avoid breaking the cover/cap) . No screw driver needed to pry open the cover/cap . Anyway I enjoyed your video man 👍😄

    This is the best car repair video I’ve ever seen. Hands down. I’m gonna do some side work this weekend. The tensioner on the top is amazing, idk why all manufacturers dont do that. Thanks bro!

    Fun and understandable explanation how to replace alternator, thank you.
    I have a question. I have toyota corolla 2008 E140 1.4 d4d motor. There is a rustling noise when starting my car, the sound cuts out after start. A while ago my car had an oil leak. I think the problem is caused by Alternator. So, I don't know which alternator to buy.
    Or should I ask: how to solve the problem of alternator failure due to oil leakage?

    Very nice video. I like the cordless tool that you used. What is it and have a link?
    For 2015 and 2016 Corolla LE, do you have links to buy OEM alternators?

    • @AxtuoAx
      @AxtuoAx  Před rokem +1

      You can get the tool on home depot or harbor freight...
      About parts, call any auto parts store, they have oem parts and aftermarket parts, you pick which one you want, the price vary

    • @AxtuoAx
      @AxtuoAx  Před 2 lety +1

      Perhaps is not the right alternator...or just make the belt tight enought....don't super tight the belt.

    I took the tensioner completely off and the belt is still tight. I haven’t yet loosened the bolt at the bottom of the alternator holding it in place. Is that why the belt is still so tight?

    • @AxtuoAx

      Yes....don't be afraid to loose that bolt.
