Nice list, but Justin Herbert should be #3...possibly even #2. I have DWat at #1. Mahomes would be #2 or #3 for me, despite his superior TEAM success.
People forget that DWat was a legit MVP candidate as a rookie, and likely would have won it if he had not been injured.
You guys are blinded by Mahomes’s surrounding cast and coaches. If he played for the Texans they wouldn’t win many games at all.
Call me crazy if you want to, but Herbert might have a better career than Mahomes. I’m THAT impressed with him.
I always judge a QB by his performances under extreme pressure. I’m still not sold on Mahomes being in line to become a so-called GOAT. He’s not even close, IMO.
He’s not Jordan...Kobe or Magic. He’s Dominique...good for volume stats and highlights but not championships.
He has played 8 quarters of Super Bowl football, and he has looked like garbage in 7 of those 8 quarters. People don’t realize that.
He won the SB MVP on the strength of a 4th quarter performance. To be fair, he came through when it mattered, but you don’t get to smell up the field for three quarters in the Super Bowl, get skunked in your next one, and then come out the next season acting like you’re Muhammad Ali and Joe Namath.
Mahomes is calling out a 20-0 season and guaranteeing a Super Bowl win after having his a$$ handed to him on a platter.
So he’s a special kind of stupid!
Send Lamar Jackson to the Texans, and the Texans are 2-14 last year...maybe.
There’s no scenario under which I would take LJ over DWat. The latter is a more complete QB; he does everything LJ can do, and - as was pointed out - is a superior passer.
Like I said...swap LJ and DWat. What are their teams’ fortunes? I’m betting the Ravens are in the AFC championship game every other year..
So yes, I like the list but not the order, and Mahomes will have to prove it to me, because I feel that he has gotten a lot of undeserved hype at the expense of Russ and ARod, both of whom are better QB’s and were better even when they were younger.
Most people don’t realize just how good Russ was, and those who once did have forgotten. They have also forgotten how devastatingly talented Rodgers is.
*BOTTOM LINE*
I would never take Mahomes over Russ or Rodgers under ANY circumstance, and I would never take LJ over DWat, speaking from strictly a quarterbacking standpoint, of course.
Furthermore, Justin Herbert is too low. You should have him at #3 on this list.
The point if this list, was to put Darnold on it, cause there is zero logic, or thought that went into it after Sam LOL......
.............Lamar and Allen ahead of Watson???? Trevor not playing a single NFL snap......????? Watson played without an OL his entire career, lead the NFL in passing.......Mahomes has some OL troubles, looks like Bortles with a curly fro....
*colin before the segment*
“Ok good, baker is 26”
True story!
I just googled how old baker was haha I thought he left him off the list.
And at 25 he threw almost as many interceptions as touchdowns and the browns still only win when he throws less And last season he had more games at 200 yards or less than over 300 🤷🏻♂️
@@toadstkr there’s also a clear difference between a baker who is trying to force the ball to Odell. And the baker who likes to distribute to the entire team and hit the open man. The one with Odell is the one you are referring to, the one without Odell went on to have one of the best season in the nfl last season. Baker is clearly a different qb without Odell on the field, and he’ll continue to prove that if and when they trade him.
@@toadstkr at 24 he broke the Rookie TD Record in less than a full season because Tyrod Taylor started, he then stormed onto the scene as one of the new superstar QBs the spotlight was on him, then he had one of the worst coaching hires in the history of the NFL and had a slump season, now he has a good coach and look, won a playoff game, was a top 10 QB during the back half of the season, mind you he did all this without his star WR and he is the 3rd QB in NFL history to get 3500 Yds and 25 TDs in each of their first 3 years of playing, the other two QBs to do this were Peyton Manning and Luck. So he's had 1 bad season, hes had 1 good one and 1 great one, but everyone wants to forget 2018 happened because it doesnt fit their narrative
Surprised that Sam Darnold isn’t number 1 on his list.
He is trunky 😂

Darnold is going to have his breakout this year or next year. He’s the truth.
Whether Colin is really right or really wrong on Darnold this season, I can’t wait. Either the gloating or the backpedaling will be hilarious.

And no Tua, but Daniel Jones and Sam Darnold...
Never forget that colin saw Joe Montana in Jared Goff lol
He took his team to a super bowl and lost in the playoffs against the Packers last year when Goff played better than Rodgers (with a broken hand). The Rams are going 4-12 this year without him.

Burrow and the Bengals gonna shock everybody this year. Gonna be fighting for the division and winning our first playoff game since 1991. Who Dey!
And then you'll wake up and laugh.
He’s gonna be dead wrong about Jones though
That depends if Jones can run with the ball without tripping over air
Jones is already an upgrade over Cam.
Daniel Jones is gonna throw 50 touchdowns and 0 picks to win MVP this year. I'm calling it now.
look at how colin disrespected lsu when talking about trevor lawrence lol
I would have put Lamar above Josh Allen. I don't think people realize how much of a beast lamar is
Yeah Lamar is a good running back... But this is a qb segment
5:23 write that down
I feel like Burrow will do a lot better this season with both a "more" normal offseason, getting Chase and the team building around him more. They are not going to win their division but I expect better play.
The Bengals are probably going to be a 4th place team again, but they'll have a better record. The two teams to watch for in that division are the Browns and the Ravens, and in that order. If Baker can carry over the success he had in the 2nd half of the season and in the playoffs, and the new additions to their defense can get into Grove early enough, then the Browns are going to be strong contenders for that division. I still feel like the Ravens will be a really close 2nd though, with either the same record or a win or two less than what the Browns finish at. But it's the Browns, so I'm going to wait till a few games into the season to before I really go all in on them. Either way, I can see the Bengals being a strong contender in a few years, and the Steelers can easily slip further down in that timespan if they don't get themselves a good quarterback to replace Big Ben. I'm really looking forward to how that division is going to look in a couple seasons.
The bengals will finish 4th but will ruin a lot of people’s records
No improvement on the O line, they quickly forgot why burrow blew out his knee in the first place. he'll be running for his life again and adding Chase won't make much of a difference.
@@mikebentley1035 Didn't they have at least one person on the offensive line opt out for last season? If they feel confident enough that the line can improve, then why not get a for sure weapon? Even if you're utilizing him with screens, slants, and other short to intermediate passing schemes to help out with line issues, then it's probably a more notable improvement than if they had got one guy for the line at it's worst spot. But that's assuming the franchise can actually build up linemen though.
@@IStillJustLikeCats I'm hoping the Bengals are like the Cardinals in the NFC West a team that while not leading the division is still a challenge to most all other teams and can even upset the Browns and Ravens from time to time. I think the Steelers are still a big threat even though they blew up at the end.
Collin “ you’re gonna eat it” cowherd
Calling the Bengals o-line average at best is GENEROUS
This is a really solid list. Hard to disagree much of it. I think Darnold will do very well this year. Obviously Rhule likes him and I think Rhule knows QBs better than any of us. Stacked offence in a division with mostly weak defences.
I stg if he puts Darnold over Baker-Jets fan
Herbert should be higher
Do one with the NBA about Tatum
Daniel Jones is better than darnold imo
Justin Herbert future mvp
Josh Allen ain’t better than Deshaun or Lamar respectfully.Dude had one good season with an elite receiver while the others had multiple with no weapons in Lamars case.

Lamar can't throw to any receivers lol
He's easily better than both, Deshaun put up big numbers while getting blown out every game.
@@richardcoleman1196 Deshaun outplayed Allen h2h.....be realistic DW team was hot garbage... 31st ranked rushing attack...Bottom 5 defense...Receivers in and out with injury what did u expect him to go 14-2? Damn I didn't know Mahomes was only 25. That's crazy 😦. And the chiefs get to enjoy a good decade and a half of his peak . Guess god really did finally shine some love on that fandom
That body is turning 35 quickly though
There has never been this many top tier young QBs. AT LEAST half of this list will end up in the Hall of Fame.
He acts like 5000 yards and 35 TDs in 2 years is a good milestone. If your QB can’t average 2500 yards and 18 TDs, you don’t have a QB.
I don’t want to crucify Jones because he’s a good kid and the Giants have been a bad team but that milestone Colin mentioned is nothing. Especially in today’s NFL.
How can you put Trevor Lawrence on this list he hasn’t even played an nfl game yet
Watson about to be the number 1 player in the longest yard league
Let's hope so
You mean Deshaun Cosby?

I ain’t eating nothing with Sam Darnold. I think he’s had huge potential since the start and with a better supporting team I think he’s gonna be great too!
List titled as the best “UNDER the age of 25”… lists three players that are 25.
Ya the title is wrong but cowherd did say out loud "25yrs and younger"
Ughck
The disrespect to Jalen Hurts is real
Tua too
You really can’t argue against this list. I mean maybe you could put deshaun above Lamar but that might be it. It’s pretty accurate and wow future of the nfl is looking bright
Zach Wilson got snubbed😤
"You guys are gonna eat it on Sam Darnold this year"
I think this should be a potential list. Two QB's that have only played 1 year. Actually 1 that has played a year. Burrow got hurt early. 1 that hasn't even took an NFL snap in training camp. Not best QB's 25 or younger.
I am sure that gardner minshew had less pro bowl talent around him than Sam darnold.
Uh oh someone was wrong on darnold. How about you eat it Colin.
Don’t settle for someone who loves you less than Colin loves Darnold.
He really managed to get darnold on here lol
Jordan Love should be on this list
"UNDER the age of 25", as he called the segment, would actually eliminate Allen, Mahomes, Watson... and by not doing this list a few weeks ago he was able to keep Baker off of it; but I wonder where he would have put him.
Seriously, Darnold, no Tua
Wait til Baker's 26th and get both NY QBs (Jones & Darnold) on it.
even haskins has done more in the NFL than Lawrence as well as Tua. This list means absolutely nothing
Burrow has come back with increased-velocity on his deep ball
They added Jmare Chase, Thad Moss and Chris Evans. OL bolstered Carmon Jackson Reilly G Reiff RT and Trey Hill C G. PFF had Burrow ranked as tops in balls thrown under 20 yards. Add a speedster like Pooka Williams in addition to Tee Higgins Tyler Boyd and a returning Joe Mixon Joe Burrow ascends this list.
100 days doesn't seem that far away either, probably because the year is flying by.
How is sam ranked ahead of Daniel Jones ? We have addition year of trash play
Can someone explain how Lawrence is on the list without playing a snap in the NFL?

Colin refuses to give up on darnold
Colin gotta let the Sam Darnold agenda go, dimes is clear of him
i dont disagree that daniel jones has an argument for being better than darnold but you have to remember that darnold got drafted into a dumpster fire of a situation and now has a fresh start with way more weapons around him that are also young with mccaffery dj moore and terrence marshall, along with a pretty young defense with burns chinn donte jackson and jaycee horn. I would be willing to bet that if you look at this panthers team at the end of the year that darnold makes them a competitor in a division that is kinda waiting for someone to challenge the bucs because the saints have jamies running the show which is a little dicey and the falcons are trash so dont be shocked if darnold goes off this year and the panthers challenge for a wild card spot
I have never understood the love for Darnold. He didn't impress me at USC and obviously not with the Jets. I'm sure he will be improved in Carolina, but if he ultimately ends up being a middle of the pack starter which is probably his absolute ceiling, that still isn't going to win a team a superbowl. I'd move on.
I tuned out at “Daniel Jones”.

Can someone explain to me how Tua went from potentially being the first/best QB picked in his draft class, to now worse than Daniel Jones and Sam Darnold in 1 season?
