After they had the pick they heard reports that the Patriots loved Mac Jones compared to Trey or Fields so they “leaked” stories about how they were going to take Mac at #3, essentially baiting NE to trade up to #3. Bill didn’t take the bait however and everything ended up working out

The surgeon type for Patriots is correct, but SB49 the Hawks lost their LEO before that drive, and the Hawks couldn't put any pressure on Brady and so yes, he took us apart, but so could a lot of QB's with enough time.

Lance has 318 pass attempts in his career against inferior opponents. The lowest attempts in the last 40 years for a QB. No one knows if he will work out. But keep schilling for the the guy for some odd reason, Colin.
Bro there a reason he’s considered a top pick 🤣 He has pretty much everything you’d want outside of experience . You can say his accuracy can be spotty , but it’s not so much ball placement issues it just inconsistent mechanics. He’s got a Josh Allen type ceiling and probably a higher floor than Allen had coming out. Plus he has the best situation out of all the QBs picked in Round 1.

I disagree. Fields went to the best spot because the NFC North won’t be anywhere close to as competitive as the NFC West and AFC East are and will be in the future. I like each spot for each QB taken, but Fields takes the cake on this one.

I’m so Glad to Hear Klatt talk about landing spot for QB’s !! My guy Baker went to the worst team in a historic sense ! Worst record with worst coaching and worst front office !! Fortunately he survived the first two nightmare years without a career ending injury !! He started 3 years at OU and missed 1/2 game due to injury ! He was on the ground and was cheap shotted by a TCU player and entered the CNS protocol !! Hasn’t missed a play with Browns ! A tough young player !! He finally has a good coach so we will see what happens !! Kyler went to a better situation than Baker !!

Justin Fields was the clear better fit for the 49ers but they over-analyzed his play. Fields would have demolished FCS defenses considering what he did against most FBS ones.
I find it funny how all of the sudden ppl think Jacksonville is going to be great all of the sudden. Trevor is great, but the roster still is AT BEST very average...maybe below avg....they have a rookie hc...AND Indy is a legit threat to win it all this year. They aren’t just going to walk and tear up the league. And I think Jacksonville has already got off on the wrong foot taking Travis ETN at 25, especially considering they already have JROB

I watched every Georgia game as a fan of the team and Eric Stokes was better than Tyson Campbell. I never understood the hype with Campbell aside from being projectable because the improvement from year to year was minimal. I watched Campbell get thrown at game after game, I can’t say that about Stokes.
