Thank you for the information I put a in line fuse so I still have a fuse I did not know where to hook the wires so you pulled out the fuse and hooked it in the fuse box thank you.
Thanks for a very useful and clear video on wiring a momentary switch to the 2 higher amperage horn relay pin slots. Good tips on routing the wires, and drilling small hole into fuse box. It seems to me that the new bypass circuit would still be protected by the actual horn fuse near the horn relay socket.
I don't have a horn relay just a horn fuse so to get it to pass inspection can I take one wire and hook it up to the switch and the other end of that wire press in between the 10amp horn fuse and re install the horn fuse. The horn itself is grounded when I bolt it on.
Great video brother! by any chance could that other video you were talking about be mine? It wasn't in the video description. If so id link you back up because i did mine real quick and forget to show when i put my spade pin connectors on my wires and others have asked how i kept them in. Thanks
So you need to say you bypassed the horn's fuse safety also and not that you just bypassed the horn. It is very vital that you mention this but you did not.

Thanks James i agree, i figured the bypass circuit would still be protected too!
Thoroughly installed!
very nice! Future reference, those "fuses" are relays. great detail though

Ah, so that's what they are, cool, thanks for the info.

is there any way to connect a car horn to a regular battery without fuses and stuff? I want to put a horn on my bicycle

smart
You've gotten fantastic stuff right.
That's a relay not a fuse

What does the risk of bypassing the fuse do???
@@happyjuice4251 It can cause a fire.
So not really in the fuse
