- I'm on vacation this weekend so no Weekly (plus, honestly, there isn't a lot to talk about) but I did get my Marvel Legends Spider-Man Kingpin wave in from Dorkside Toys! I talk too long about the Six-Arm Spidey but for the most part I dig the wave.

Black Cat’s missing tooth is a sculpt thing. Superior Spider-Man (Doc Ock mind in Peter’s body) punches out a tooth. It began her more criminal persona.
Grew up with Gi Joe, any figure that comes with a backpack that can be used to store its accessories is an instant win.
I want a classic Moon Knight with the same paint the Silver Sable figure has on it.

I love how Hasbro found a way to re-tool Puma's elbow to allow him to get full range of motion despite the muscular arm sculpt. I home that continues for future muscular characters.
Yeah, it's a little bit of an eyecatcher but worth it for the range.
That black & white Spider-Man’s eyes look like the glasses all the ladies wear in Gary Larson’s The Far Side.
You can actually stick the diamond into King Pin’s hand so that he can have the end of the cane on the floor. Idk if that makes sense....

the reason peter was wearing the symbiote again was to fight red goblin (carnage goblin whatever you wanna call him), the symbiote was given to him willingly by eddie so he could have an edge in the fight.

Red goblin should have a glider he had one in the comics, and wow.... Black cat IS SUPPOSED TO BE MISSING A TOOTH(thanks to douchey doc ock superior spidey) and they did it.... Color Me impressed

Wow that articulation for King Pin is terrible, but people want a king pin so bad that they're gonna love it any way
Lurkno Sculpt is just as important as articulation, so in that regard this Kingpin is still great.
Yep I love it anyway.
Just knowing you have to buy all these figures, or get it off ebay to get a staple character that doesn't even have good articulation is a business practice i'm not cool with.
I expected more but it looks very good.

I think I appreciate your review of 6-arms the most. Even spiral with a design that lended itself to toyification better lost some articulation and I think this is the best they could do to achieve the accurate look. My only knock against it is the lack of an iron fist assortment of hands. 3 flesh wall crawl hands, 1 flesh thwip, costume crawl, costume fists. But 8 additional hands sounds a little absurd plastic wise. Maybe no costumed crawl hands. But still. One of my favorite Spider-Man designs from the 90s cartoon and makes me hope we'll get a doppelganger and Man-Spider baf in the future. I might even get an extra one on clearance to try and make my own dopple.
I really want that Black suit spidey and red goblin, I loved this story in the comics and I love the design even more, this design is just great

I love this wave except for Puma. I've never heard of or seen him until this figure. I still read comics and a lot of ACBA artists don't so it's cool to have modern shots.
I actually like the old ASM2 mold, that hip articulation is flawless
that 6 arm would be a lot better with extra hands instead of just the thwipping hands.

SharkGamez it’s a legitimate flaw. A very flexible character like Spider-Man should have better leg articulation

Night Trasher looks amazing. He is really the only one I would want. If they would of went with the Spiderman PS4 costume for Blackcat I would of picked that up.

I love the bright blue and red of the Six Arm Spidey, as well as the sculpted webbing. It makes me want them to rerelease the TASM 2 Spidey with a new comic book accurate torso and then bright colors. Tho the texturing really throws me off for a comic style figure

Carnage - feets are from supperior venom, hands are from regular venom from absorbing man wave.
Btw that new black symbiote suit spidey is awesome to mix parts, i put a symbiote head from venompool [back in black] on him and it is kinda my idea of new superior venom or evil peter parker =)

Oh, Robo, I wanted to tell you I found two of the new Captain Marvel figs at a Mt Pleasant, SC Walmart yesterday. Nothing else from the wave either. The weird part was I don’t think this store has restocked any Legends figs since Thanksgiving. Same other 12 to 15 figures that have been collecting dust for weeks and weeks.
Watching this was worth just for you rendition of King of the Forest. lol.
Classic Black Cat is still one of my favorite ML figures, Hasbro knocked it out of the park.
Bbts is selling them separate but not as a set yet apparently because I am still on back order.
Awesome. I ordered mine single from Amazon, I only want the BAF and like 3 figures.

As I’m sure a lot of you are Too I’m torn on this wave. This year I’m trying to really be smart about what I add to my collection because room is going to fast.
My first wave I've ever bought, just for the Kingpin BAF. The rest of the characters are such a disappointment in my eyes. Anyway, Kingpin is amazing. So happy to have him.
Would have much preferred a nice wave with Spidey villains and Daredevil characters to compliment Kingpin.
EDIT: And your silhouette idea with 6 armed Spidey is spot on. I just posted probably my only pic of that figure on Insta last night. It's 6 armed Spidey silhouetted against a sunset. Only justification I had for shooting him lol.

For Night Thrasher they could have made the board a little longer and put a foot peg at the far end so it could still be housed on the pack and you could at least peg one foot.

As some one who cuts out all the clear plastic for effect pieces I'm happy with that packaging change. This wave is kind of a mixed bag to be honest.
Good review! Not a huge fan of the character selections for this wave (aside from the BAFs) but will probably pick up whichever characters end up dropping down to like $10 or so
I hope they do a recolor of Black Cat with the same body mold but with her classic colored suit. She's wearing it again in the comics and there is a rumored Silver and Black movie which is similar to Venom as it's an adjunct movie to the MCU. Featuring Silver Sable and Black Cat of course.
The symbiote spidey with the "old" symbiote spider-man I'm sure that would look awesome
I was originally excited for Silver Sable and NightThrasher, but then i remembered that one every single metallic colored Marvel Legend (at least every single one I have) develops a weird gross almost grease like film over them over time. And its not like I touch them with gross hands or anything, I hardly do anything with them, they just go up on the shelf and then when I go pick one up after a little while they are gross and it bums me out 😧

I just can't help veering off and hunting, or exploring, haha. Doesn't help the story is huge besides all that, plus jumping online just to goof with some of the other Fwoosh guys. So good.

Not sure, I've become terrible at identifying the different parts now.
Honestly that modern black suit Spider-Man is good design wise, and I can even get past the weird eyes. The part that I don't like are the feet. Its weird because artwork for the costume showed both clawed feet and flat feet. I would have much preferred the flat feet look.
Six hand spidey should have extra hands for webbing and possibly some extra gestures.
Kingpin is solid. Am sold on it. :D

Thanks Robo, I was tempted to splurge on this wave mainly because of that Kingpin BAF but the lackluster articulation on him and lack of accessories is too disappointing to justify the purchase. I'll pass on this wave.
Night thrasher and silver sable are my favourites
I agree the 6 Arm Spider-Man does look rather cheap but i think i'll have to pick him up, slap on a little paint and a wash as it gives me the excuse to repaint my Man-Spider and display them together with a regular Spider-Man so i have the stages of change with his mutation. Should look pretty cool once it's done.
Can't justify getting the whole wave, so will try and get Kingpin on the loose market, Puma, and yeah, ol' half-assed six-arm. Maybe change the hands using some Namor or Iron Fist extras, black wash some lines on the red and pose him similarly to your Shiva the Destroyer look, ascending to the right hand of Stan.
Puma just makes me want Kylun so much more.
How's the articulation of the Black Cat?

They could have sculpted the torso on 6 arm spidey a bit hunched over to kinda get him in a sprt of crawling pose like the pre-legends era 90s Doppelganger.

I will be honest, I kinda like 6 arm spidey, especially because of that pose you put him in.
I think I'll skip out on this wave, Kingpin has a lot of presence, but I admittedly expected a little more out of him in terms of articulation. that Lobo you looked at recently is way more enticing to me.
