I always am in awe at what May have led to what was going on behind the scenes that let that team into the ground. 2015,16,17 should have been great years for Oregon. He truly let his players get too big of heads and lost the team. I still think they should have given him another season after going 4-8.
He also got a big head himself when it came to recruiting. He told lots of players they should come to Oregon just because it's Oregon. He wasn't a worker on the recruiting trail. Thank God we have Dan Lanning now.
Mariota had two problems. One was not being aware of the pass rush on his weak side which led to his injuries. The second was he wasn't great under center. You got to have that in the Pros.
