Got to see my first #manatee while paddling 220 miles on the Suwannee River from Fargo, GA, to Suwannee, FL. Here's some #underwater footage of these two springs including some #manatees .
Really amazing underwater scenery. Definitely a bucket list item to paddle and swim in a Spring… but maybe not one with gators lurking 😏 Thanks for sharing Dan.
Man it's seeing the manatee in the water. I need to take my family there kayaking. When did you go to Florida & how long was you there Dan? Look like a nice time there. How long did it take you to get there in driving? Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it.
Hey Mack - Hope you're staying warm and dry this winter! I was there Feb 9th-18th (trip started on the 10th). It was about a 8.5 - 9 hour drive. I picked up Dawn on the way and we did the last 5.5 hours together, so that was much nicer that going solo!! Hope you're doing well!!
@SouthernPaddler Hello Dan yes I am staying warm man & definitely dry. My family will not let me go out in the snow. That was a nice time to go there & warm up man. Oh OK the drive was about 8.5 to 9 hours. Not to bad but long enough. Oh OK after picking up Dawn the rest of the trip was a lot best. It's always is like that. You see what I go through in the Truck 🚛 on my 1,200 & 1,500 miles trip I have to do by myself in the Truck 🚛. I am doing pretty well & & my family. I am Just doing my therapy to calm my nerves down & build my muscles backed up in my feet 🦶. I tell you man Damaged nerves and muscles in your feet 🦶 is very very painful man. & me being a chubby fat dude with extreme wide feet 🦶 doesn't help. But I am hanging in there & me & my family can't wait to get back to kayaking again. All 6 of my boys keep talking about that every time we eat out together. They love & miss kayaking & so do me too. I hope you have a good weekend buddy.
Great video
Thanks Tommy!!

Yes, riding solo isn't always fun...especially over long distances! I hope the therapy goes well! Thanks Mack!
