If you guys can get Jenna to sit down with you, even virtually, there's so many millennials that would explode with joy. I don't care about the nitty gritty of why she left, but I'd love to hear her talk about her wild experiences pioneering so much of YT and the beginnings of internet culture. I could watch a whole ass documentary about those times.

Me too! I’ve been such a fan for so long and it was so tough watching her go through chemo but she got through it and kicked cancers ass!!
@@chopstixy Hi :3 cancer survivor here! As patients we don't really fight anything, it's pretty much luck and timing if you survive. Me and many other survivors and sufferers would like to change the way we talk about getting through the disease, getting away from fight-centric language!

God this made me so happy. Grace was such a huge part of my life at a very lonely time. Having something to look forward to every day was honestly such a gift.
She also facilitated the weirdest fandom experience I have ever had - I went to one of hers, Mamrie and Hannah’s shows on my own, first time in London alone, and, through the power of Tumblr, could actually name maybe 1/3 of the members of the audience. One Tumblr famous fan was pulled up on stage and at least half the audience gasped her name. Wild.

@@itsgraceit was a weird and special time! I feel nostalgic for it sometimes, it was weirdly indescribable and nothing since has quite felt like tumblr in 2011-14ish. But I’m glad I experienced it then and glad to have continued to know you in an internet way all this time. 💙

Watching Grace’s face came while she watches her old content is the closest I have ever felt to how I feel when I think about things that have happened in my past. This feeling of “oh dear god, please let me reach out and help this person. I can see them crying for help”

I have to give all credit to Grace for being my introduction to CZcams. If I consistently watch a CZcams channel (Smosh, GMM, Sourcefed, etc) it was because Grace introduced me to them.

Super funny and wholesome. They were called the Holy Trinity of CZcams for a while. She also has a ton with Tyler Oakley along with the other 2 girls I mentioned

I love how Grace compartmentalizes by referring to her past self in the third person. This is valid a coping mechanism I would use if I had to see or even hear myself. lol
I've never heard of Grace before (didn't really get into watching CZcams until the pandemic) but she seems like a pretty cool/chill (and relatably humorous) person. Glad to hear she's in a better place mentally these days and wishing her the best in her cancer journey. My mom went thru breast cancer treatment a few years ago and it's definitely a tough time all around.
God I feel old, but I'm crying at the same time. Grace was the Queen of early CZcams. I'm so glad she's doing well and is at peace in life.

Oh man, this takes me back. Grace was part of my daily CZcams routine for so long. She is great.
Been a die hard Grace fan from the beginning. Pretty sure I found her on tumblr. She really has helped me raise me. I’m in my early 30s, and have very much related to the soul searching she’s been going through. Shes done it so elegantly and it’s very inspiring. Whether it’s making a sexy grilled cheese or talking about her travels on This Might Get Weird, I’ll be tuning in

As a closeted queer kid at 14/15 years old I had an insanely intimate parasocial friendship with Grace. She really got me through my hardest times and developed my humour (for better or worse). You’re the best and this was really nice to reminisce on our time together hahah
