@M I've seen you comment in a whole bunch of baseball channels? I think people know that soccer is played in more countries. What are you trying to prove?
Andrew Walnoha You can absolutely ignore the play if you like. It doesn’t change the fact that Cone was an idiot for arguing the call while the play was still going on.
Holly Lian Call me a bonehead if you like. I’m not denying it was a bad call by the ump. I’m just saying that it was beyond idiotic for Cone to stand there and argue the call while the play is still going on.
Really interesting compilation, but I wish we got more before and especially after, to know the context and fallout, and hear the commentators. On several of these, the commentators started explaining what happened and we cut off mid sentence. On some of these I really don't know what happened.
The worst example: Steve Lyons. He's dropping his pants. Why? They then show him starting to run to first, then cut to the next video before he gets there. For those who don't know, Lyons dropped a bunt, ran full bore to first and slid head first. He was safe, called time, got up, realized he got dirt down his pants on the slide, and pulled them down to wipe the dirt out.
I have a question: if you argue a call by the umpire while the play is still going and you get thrown out of the game with the ball in your hand, and then there is runner running home and you throw him out, is he out or does the out not count because you were tossed?
You got two videos of Elvis Andrus one with him swinging at a high pitch above his head and another of him swinging at a pitch out, those were to protect the runner swings. Him fouling off the pitch saved the runner from being caught up and the shit swing on the pitch out caused the catcher to throw the ball all the way in the outfield no where near second base. It looks dumb and boneheaded but they were straight up successful moves.
You don't have that guy from the Nationals, Jose Lobaton, getting himself picked off first base with two outs and the tying run on second in the 8th inning of Game 5 of the 2017 NLDS against the Cubs.
Those times where the batter is swinging at pitches 10 feet off the plate, that’s called a hit and run. I learned the hard way that you better swing at the pitch no matter where it is on a hit and run. Just put the ball in play to move that runner in front of you
Once a fielder throws a ball into the stands (or hands the ball to someone in the stands) isn't it a dead ball and an automatic two bases for the runners? Is there any point trying to get the ball back and continue the play?
They should make an ALL PUIG Bonehead plays... I have seen a lot from him, including two different times where he decided to try to advance, after a double play was made, in which he just created a triple play. Very little is in his cabeza
BRUH he just grabs the ball back from the kid 😂😂😂
fprosk 😂
@M I've seen you comment in a whole bunch of baseball channels? I think people know that soccer is played in more countries. What are you trying to prove?
"Here comes the second runner" gets me every time 😂😂😂 Some say Cone is arguing to the first base ump to this day after 30000 runs have scored

@@SketchesofChina dont be a bonehead suck up

well you can watch a house burn down and complain about the short in the toaster too...dont change fact you got your head up your ass
1:15 and 3:43 were probably hit-and-runs, that's the only way a batter would be swinging at pitches like those
1:16 may have been a hit and run as well.
Yeah, I think 1:15 and 1:16 were both hit-and-runs
baseballdude13000 3:43 the batter swung to impede the catcher’s throw to 2nd, and it worked.
idk, I think 1:15 was a hit and run but 1:16 not so much.
You are correct, I'll wouldn't classify those as bone head plays.
@2:18, how ironic that Randy would end his career with the SF Giants, getting his 300th career win with them. Interesting coincidence.
Foreshadowing. Dun-dun-dun!!!
2:40 he really tried to throw the ball at the runner lmao shit killed me!!
He thought it was kickball
I love how the first announcer goes like: "Ian..." like a teacher talking to a student who's cheating on tests
U could make a entire video on Puig and Herrera’s failed bat flips
Life with American guy puig bat flips now even if he hits a weak ground ball lol
Life with American guy so true
Your username lol
Don't forget Luis Valbuena.

I agree but honestly this vid still was waaay better than a lot of baseball compilations that give you nothing in terms of context
Agreed. Without context, I had no idea why many of these were significant misplays.
Completely agree; so many clips cut short; stopped watching. I know there are clip channels that edit better than this.

Just here to remind people there’s a human person who happens to have played in the MLB whose name is COCO Crisp. That is all.
Covelli. 🙂
Pete Gall? LOL
Coco is just his nickname though. His given name is Covelli.
Rusty Kuntz has entered the chat
When a "hit and run" is on , the batter has to swing NO MATTER WHAT. not really a bone head play as he is doing everything to protect the runner.
5:54 The utter panic by the announcers is the best part of that video!
3:16....really 😂😂
2:04 Person Pushes kid like the kid did something wrong...
😂😂😂
0:13 Anyone know what Dee Gordon was doing?
That randy blooper was foreshadowing of him winning a ring with the giants 😂😂
1:14 wasn’t a boneheaded play because it was a hit and run and the batter has to make contact no matter where the ball is
Randy Johnson realising he has a giants hat on is my favorite moment in sports
foreshadowing at 2:23
nintendonerdsvideos true
"And u gotta wonder where in the WORLD is JASON GIAMBI going?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 gets me every time
1:15 was a hit and run...
Skeletons are such boneheads.
Love how that one dope tries to get the ball back.
I can't even get over that first one with Ian Kinsler... I watched it 6 times lol
3:22 That sums up the reds team nowadays
fuck you im a reds fan
How do you put videos in the videos i need advice for a CZcams channel
All of these plays have one thing in common... they are all very BONEHEADY!!! lolol
The play by Yadi. Ah memories of strange days in college.
3:42 he thought nobody would see him grabbing there 😂
Figures the Reds would be on here several times. I had forgotten about that pop up fail.
0:06 when you press the wrong button in mlb the show
3:44 me thinking I can hit a 120 mph fastball
Who else loves the braves announcer
At 2:22 and 5:27 shows two different pitchers sending signals that they want to be traded to the other team right on the field. LOL !!
“Ian...” lol

3:08 a classic

Puig hit a fly ball to center with two outs and it was caught. What was dumb about that?
He did a bat flip and pimped out what he thought was a homerun
You could create a 20 minute reel of Puig's great plays and an hour long reel of his bonehead plays!
Maher dabum He’s not with the Dodgers because he’s a candidate for MENSA.
the umpire at 4:30 is like I don't get paid enough for this $**** get the live ball
2:16 gets me every time 😂
I like that Agbayani went and got the ball back. Like it's not a dead ball
Best video on CZcams
That high hopper wasn't miscommunication...it was just a base hit....tough ball for either infielder playing in those positions...good video, thanks!
5:16 is it more bonehead for the first baseman leaving, the pitcher throwing over, or Granderson for sliding back to first???
I love it when the so-called professionals don't know what's going on!
I really enjoyed watching this
The Josh Hamilton play just sums up his career with the Angels too aptly
00:11 When your playing MLB The Show and you accidentally hit Square instead of Circle
I love how the players who hand the ball to a kid with less than 3 outs always try to take it back!
I’m on a new account now but I remember watching all of ur vids when I was eleven like and now I’m thirteen when u had like 75 k or something
I was at the game where Pujols stole second in the 8th inning
Those times where the batter is swinging at pitches 10 feet off the plate, that’s called a hit and run. I learned the hard way that you better swing at the pitch no matter where it is on a hit and run. Just put the ball in play to move that runner in front of you
Absolutely golden watching Scully monotonously try to shun off Puig's numerous blunders.
Kinsler was the first play that came to mind
Funny how whenever they hand the ball to a fan with less than two outs, they go back and get the ball like it doesn't matter hahaha
I wish they make more of this video this is funny

Desperation that the umpires won't notice what's going on?
mlb the show graphics look crazy!!!
Andrus possibly was involved in a hit and run, and in that case it would be anything but a bonehead play... actually quite masterful
For the plays that involve the hitter swinging at a ball out of the zone trying to make contact, its called a hit and run lol
The Big Unit's gaff at 2:22 was foreshadowing at its finest.
5:14 when your running from a potential ass whooping from your mama 😂😂
You should do funniest "pickle" moments
Catcher and pitcher at 0:59 like, "WTF, dude?"
was waiting for conseco's literal bonehead play
2:03 that's so funny i almost died
Why do you not show us ALL of the play inc. the setup??!!??
How about a compilation of fast breaking balls
Burqueno gangsteR for 6 years
0:06 when you tryna throw to first but hit the wrong button
I gotta defend Elvis Andrus here. On both occasions he was protecting the runner on busted hit and runs. His baseball IQ is off the charts.
That was actually a smart play by Molina. He was protecting the runner.
00:06 when you mean to press circle but you press X on mlb the show

MLB the show in a nutshell
Randy knew he wanted to be a giant 😂
I love the moment when the outfielders realize that there isn’t three outs and the base runners and still running
1:00 Heavily bearded Shia LeBouf
2:25 Moustache and long haired Christian Bale
I think there are some common errors here which are not boneheaded plays but it’s still a great video, nice job
Notice how puig is in at least 3 of these clips?

That video would be too long
Sadly, yes I did notice. Thankfully Joc Pederson helps cancel that out. Go Dodgers!
6:06 lol he bat flipped a walk
Okay but was the catcher ever looking at the ball. He just squeezed air and never turn around. 😂 3:09
Outfielder: "Hey, kid. Have a free game ball....whoops! Only 2 outs? Hey, kid! Give it back! Quick!"
Kid: "Sure...for $5."
3:07 actually it's a very difficult thing to do

One of the best videos I've ever seen. Fuckin hilarious

2:05 sorry- what's the bad play on the long Puig fly out?
1:57 the dude literally takes the ball back from the kid LMAO
Yup, they are human after all ❤️❤️❤️
