Sometimes you love basketball so much you dunk the other team's free throw
hahaha he was excited for the dunk
He was trying to be Jordan and forgot what team he was playing for lmao
@@SXI96 bruh
The one girl actually did score for the other team haha smh good stuff
his teammates reaction really got me, just priceless lmao
2:15 "you gonna grab that?"
"Nah homie you go ahead"
"Aight cool"
I thought he did not grab the ball by some football rule
@@ferstasticohamid5023 It didn't go over 10 yards, so it would've been a penalty
@@momandbro8 Which is still better than them scoring a touchdown.
Obviously did not touch it because of football rules, but it's really funny though
ferstastico Hamid same
5:15 Any amateur here could've probably scored that, but missing that requires some serious skill
In school our soccer/football team had a bad game where we missed a couple of easy shots, so coach made us stand at the six-yard box and try to kick it over the crossbar. Anyone who did it successfully had to run two laps, because coach said we should know to just tap it in from there
Roppis anyone with functioning legs could do score that
shouldv been in the "one in a million" compilation video instead lol
@@sufferationist honestly that might be a sly but good tactic to use to train players to associate kicking that ball over the goal will not be a pleasant feeling. And if you back it up with training to actually tap it in and or it targets inside the goal and reward them whomever hits a target. the target practice at things inside the goal box makes building the muscle memory to kick a ball in those directs more accessible. Think about it. Most the time you kick a goal you are targeting a specific point of entry. anyways thats a long reply
Any newbie, baby can score that?
Every time I click on a "worst plays ever" or "dumbest plays" I see that Colts play. It never fails and it is still as funny today as it was seeing it live.
I'm a colts fan, and while I cringe, I have to laugh too because it's just too dumb. Someone watched The Longest Yard too many times, and forgot that was a shotgun play 😂
What in the world were they even trying to do?
@@chrismorris6865 pat Mcafee explains it on his show. It was actually a trick play that was designed to draw the Pats offsides for the first down. The center was never actually supposed to snap the ball, it was just a brainfart
I saw that one live too. I was laughing so hard at the formation and didn't expect them to snap the ball. Then they did.
I keep wondering whether the QB even asked for the snap. he definitely didn't look like he was expecting it.
That colts play never fails to crack me up “the whole right side of the line wasn’t on the line of scrimmage”
Patriots mind control. Only place it doesn't work is Hard Rock Stadium & US Bank Stadium.
That play wasn't supposed to have the ball snapped, but Griff Whalen was a backup who didn't know that. The idea was to draw the Patriots offsides, or take a delay of game. The Colts had the offense huddled right at the line of scrimmage.
Reminds me of alshon in the super bowl on 4th and goal except the refs “missed” it
I've actually seen that formation work when I played in high school. You're supposed to snap it shotgun and then he throws it over to a guy who has a wall of blockers. But I don't know if that formation is even allowed in the NFL or if maybe they just didn't line up correctly. Either way, the Colts clearly aren't spending practice time wisely.
u can have no more than 3 men in ur backfield, and u must have at least 5 men on the line of scrimmage, so yeah, that would be highly illegal.
That is no longer the stupidest ting JR Smith has done now.
agree-a change in possession in a nothing game compared to blowing a Finals opportunity-still a funny screwup tho...
JR Smith keeps on improving himself, every year he do something more stupid
He should be there twice
Jr has all kinds of plays like that he's a fucking bum
Fan
5:16 how is that even possible? it goes against the laws of physics
It’s simple he chipped it up at an angle which made it fly over
He scoops the ball upwards with his foot, it is possible
Lol...Why against the law of physics?
Maybe they teach you the wrong physics then
The pitch is horrible, the ball probably bounced up the moment before he kicked it. It's no excuse, still an exceedingly stupid play, but certainly possible.
He kicked the bottom of the ball and chipped it up... are you okay?
Collinsworth asking "what was the plan?" always cracks me up. lol 9:40
It’s the “Uh Oh” at the start that gets me. You just know this isn’t going to end well.
Same here!
The ball wasn't suppose to be snapped tho
You could've just played the Cleveland Browns entire 2017 season and had a full and accurate video.
And you could've came up with a original joke.
Darkwolfe It couldn't have been that bad, or they would have fired the coach.
Lol
Who are the Cleveland Browns? That’s not a joke, I’ve heard them in jokes but have no idea who they are or why
Charlie The Cleveland Browns are the 2018 Super Bowl winners. Led to the title by rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield.
Lol at the guy who dunked the free throw
can someone tell me what he was trying to accomplish, why it was dumb, how it went wrong, and what happened instead? I dont basketball. thanks
He scored for the opposing team. He should've had rebounded the ball, not put it in the basket.
It was also a lane violation. Players not lined up immediately on the key cannot pass the free throw line until the the ball hits the rim.
...the other team's free throw no less.
That was actually Gerald Greens brother, I'm assuming that he didn't see who was shooting free throws since he was coming from the sidelines, but I think they lost in ot.
5:15 a clip from from one of my recent rocket league games
Lord some of these plays reminds me of the time I was playing in the local basketball league, I stole the ball, ran towards the wrong basket and got an easy lay-up. Thankfully it didn’t cost my team the win and a chance to go to the playoffs, but I remember halfway towards basket thinking “huh, where is everyone?”
4:45 the guy tackled his own player 😂😂
He wanted to keep him in the end zone, the dumb part is he forced a fumble lol
He was trying to keep him in the end zone for a touchback instead of a safety but he ended up force fumbling
Tackling his own player in the Endzone was actually smart, forcing the fumble was the part that was not intended
9:57 *W H A T W A S T H E P L A N*
Visda58 thats what i said
I read a comment on another video that said it was supposed to fake the defense into thinking they were subbing and going for it so the defense would make subs and they could catch them off guard and get them for having more than 11 players on the field and if they didn't fall for it they would line up like it was a trick play and then call timeout or take a delay of game and punt the ball. But I think the one guy was put in but he never practiced the play and snapped the ball when he wasn't supposed to.
Actually Pat McAfee (Radio show host and Colts Punter at that time) explained the play: Like said before they wanted it to look like they're subbing the ST for the offense to play 4th down. The Pats should have been caught with 12 men -> 1st down. If that's not happening they call a timeout or take a delay of game and punt. It was in the actual play book saying if the QB goes under center snap it. The problem was that the initial "center" for this play was hurt. So WR Griff Whalen stepped in. He read the play book saying he should snap it if Anderson (the "QB" in this play) goes under center. But so far everybody knew what to do. No problem. But when the play was called HC Chuck Pagano said to Anderson he should go under center to try to maybe draw the Pats offside forgetting his center had no idea what the use of this play was. So he went under center as the Pats didn't subbed their ST, Whalen snapped the ball (as it was descripted in the play book) and everyone is like "Wtf actually happened?!" 😂😂😂
But it was 4th down, taking a delay of game would have been declined and a turnover on downs 🤷♂️
@@jpadaruth Delay of game is not declinable and doesn't lead to a loss of a down. (Just like false start.) So it would just have been 5 yards penalty.
1:56 he didn't do it on purpose, he heard a whistle from the crowd and thought that it was the ref
No I think he didn’t think it was a challenge or whatever so he decided to just kick it out as an insult to the other team for not even being good enough for him to even try.
Kicking the ball out like that would be a dumb thing to do even if the ref did blow the whistle.
May Rockifeller what do you mean? They were 1-0 up
RickyPro I know, I’m just guessing but I think balotelli was just fucking with LA, like in his mind he could score at will against a US club team (and he prob could) so why try. Idk I don’t understand it bc I would never act like that on a sporting field, but kicking it out like that doesn’t make any sense even if the whistle was blown.
PC POLICE he said after the game there was a whistle and he thought the play was dead. He’s an idiot, I don’t like him, but That’s what he said. I’ve seen live games where the crowds whistles sound like the refs. Benefit of the doubt and all that.
6:15 never seen a more deserving loss
Wtf u talking about?
Winterfell 7102 she tried to showboat in the olympics, which is highly disrespectful and it cost her the gold medal. I agree that it was a very deserved loss
@@tcnugget she was trying to have some fun and style out for her fans a little bit. Where I come from people like that are respected. I don't see any showboating here, all she did was a small grab, nothing you could consider showboating in any way.
Winterfell 7102 broo youre too much in denial, the other person definitely deserved to win more

That free throw! "That might be the ugliest thing I've ever seen, Kyle" hahaha 😂
My heart skipped a beat at 7:05, I thought I was watching one of my old high school games, and thought "this can't be possible." I went to Jr. High and High School with James Worthy, and Sleepy Floyd (who got his name when he was in my Boy Scout troop and wore his pajamas to a camp out) went to the only other high school in my town, so they were the big rival. Then I realized, 'Oh yeah, they played in the college championship game too." Derp

Not to mention the fact that they actually won that game.

7:07 Thank you for being such a dear _friend_
VERY good compilation. And thanks for not adding music on top
Yeah no stupid music that doesnt fit the action.
Really impressive recycling of widely available clips from YT, let's patreon this guy for sure
very entertaining video... thanks for the upload.
1:29 always interesting watching them continue to chase the ball after he tosses lmfao
TOUCHDOWN... oh wait, it's 100 yards the other way
"I'm not sure what that was. Gooood Laurd." lol
Add JR Smith 2018 Finals
Caleb Olson He still on here though 😂😂
That's what I said haha.
Lmao the look on his face after everyone turns to him and is like wtf. Haha not the sharpest tool in the shed
That was also the second time he forgot how much time was left in the game
well considering he was still on this list can I just ask how he got to the NBA because man he dumb
You really deserve more subs! LOVE U SAVHE BRICK!!!❤️❤️
SkyGuy 18 oof
"Savhe"
Not sure why but I always find that last play absolutely HILARIOUS, I am talking me cackeling on the floor hard the breathe. It's just so many idiots at the same time, I love when it's snapped and the guy just tucks and goes down. Lmao
6:10 - I will never forget watching this when it happened. Lindsay Jacob-Ellis dominated the inaugural women's snowboarding at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics, and she decides to top the gold off with a showboat stunt after all 3 of her competitors had fallen down. She wins the silver due to her failed stunt.
haha another JR Smith brainfart at 3:00 :D
puckoster ikr! Lol finals 2018
Based on the video title, I knew JR Smith had to somewhere in here.
Balotelli is one of those occasional players who are exceptional young talents but their mindset cripples their careers and they become 50% of the talent they were meant to be.
You could hear a whistle in the background that sounds like the ref's and Balotelli thought that the ref had stopped play
9:55 If Joe Buck was commentating he would've just said "wow what?" *laugh* "Patriots ball"
Joe Buck is the most boring commentator in all of spots. No enthusiasm, excitement or imagination.
i can hear this comment
That Baylor-Tech onside kick had me rolling
I never going to understand that colts play... what were they thinking...
Look up Pat McAfee on YT, he explained what they were trying to do with the play on a local radio show.
They wanted to go down in history.
Belt Line Productions what was his excuse?
well they went down, didn't they.
Supposedly the center wasn't supposed to snap the football, but since they were using their backup center, he hadn't practiced the play and so didn't know not to snap. They were trying to force a timeout/offsides I think, but..yeah.
I thought for sure the Kirk Cousins kneel down when he should've spiked it would be up there
To be fair, during that there was some miscommunication it wasn't all Kirk's fault
It might be because people who are unfamiliar with Football don’t know the rule
It would be nice if your starting QB knew the rules.
@@mistameatballs7152 Still a bad "play". This video isn't "bad single efforts".
There was a plan on that last colts play, the center was never supposed to snap the ball, the whole thing was just meant to try to get the other guys offsides. But the center didn't know that he wasn't supposed to snap it for some reason, you can even see the guy is surprised when the ball gets snapped.
5:06 Worst. Missed. Goal. EVER!!!
Dumbest Play in NBA History: Chris Mills vs Samaki Walker!
Absolutely. A wrong basket shot with a wrong basket foul.
Both players were dumb in 5:07
8:24 Thats my University, WCU, i was at that game when that happened. We're kind of a nobody team and App always dominates so this was a special moment for us lol. The dude was a good sport and let our university make a vine out of it lol
As a Colts fan, watching that 4th & 3 play was infuriating.
Seahawks shoulda ran that damn ball...
Falcons should've ran it and kicked the field goal and boom Brady has 2 less superbowls..
Musicrecords10 But they didnt. winning against the Seahawks and Falcons in recent years made this past Super Bowl not hurt as bad. Still sucks but Tom still has some good football left so I think he'll add at least one more before walking away as the GOAT.
Not without a lot of controversy though.. tuck rule, spy gate, deflate gate
Musicrecords10 what does spygate and tuck rule have to do with Super Bowl 49? And wouldn’t the colts have reported the balls being deflated at the beginning of the game if they were actually deflated? And a lot of teams cheated to win games so don’t act like the patriots are the only ones to. They cheated with spygate and maybe deflate gate but other teams do stupid stuff all the time
Every time I watch that I cry inside
Poor Jim Marshal. I always just feel bad when I see that one.
8:24 bruh what the hell kind of freethrow was that...too funny!
8:25 ‘I’m not sure what THAT was. My goodness. That’s the ugliest thing I ever saw’ haha 😂
That’s what my mom said when my brother was born
As soon as I saw the Colts, i just put my head down as my brain started to relive that moment 4 years ago...
King Joffrey Pat Mcafee said in one of his videos that the snapper fucked that play up and hiked the ball when he wasnt suppose to
JR Smiths was understandable
yeah I actually thought that shit went in too
5:59 "Ok here we go. This one is mine. I'll get them right on the serve..."
8:00 that endzone is HUGE. It looks at least 20 yards deep.
It is 20 yards deep, the official end zone depth in the Canadian Football League
@@JDH694 that would be so easy to score in in an nfl game

and JR Smith.
0:10 Yes, THAT Marc Bergevin!! Montreal Canadiens GM Marc Bergevin!!
Well...after seeing this clip for the first time in my life I can now finally understand why this guy ruins my beloved habs
@@CSickmann Having PK Subban and trading him for Shea Weber is the equivalent of taking the puck down in your own zone and just throwing it into the net
@@sufferationist both are hideous contracts and weber is the better player. it looked bad when it was done, but not as much now.
of course, signing him to that monstrosity was stupid in the first place. also the price contract. he's good, but that contract handcuffs the team. they can't move him unless they take a bad contract in return.
the sergachev deal was the stupid one. he's just the kind of player we could use right now.
Finally found "sports" that actually contains sport and not just "American sports".
God I forgot about that onside kick at the Baylor game. My roommates and I spent a good half hour laughing immediately after that happened.
For anyone wondering, the guy who threw the puck in his own net in the first clip is now the GM of the Montreal Canadiens
4:43 what?!!?!?
The only reason I can guess as to why a player tried to tackle his own teammate was that he didn't want his teammate getting tackled inside the endzone for a safety. Either that, or he wanted to keep his teammate inside the endzone so they would get a touchback and start possession at the 20 rather than at the 1. Either way, the dumb mistake was the fumble, not a player trying to tackle his own teammate for what could have been a good reason.
1:20 I love how even the official tries to warn him
2:40 JR Smith has had that keen sense of awareness his whole career huh?
That first clip hurt me personally...
4:43 He was just trying to keep dude in the endzone, I feel bad.
Fortunately it was just preseason. Unfortunately that means those players were scrubs and never amounted to anything.
@8:25 - Reacted to that free throw the same way. GOOD LORD! There's the previous level of shame when shooting free throws, "Shaq Level", and then there's this!
That moment when Shaq is a better free throw shooter then you.
that slow "what... the... heck..." cracks me up every time I see that colts play
2:38 You can't blame Smith for that.
Cole Phelps yea that one was an understandable mistake I thought
Seattle Seahawks passing for an interception instead of giving the ball to Lynch for win.
yo good work keep it up
The dumbest play I’ve ever seen was Leon Lett attempting to recover Miami’s missed field goal on a sleet covered field.
Lol yeah
I don't see how that could be scored a home run. It looks more like a legit double with a score on an error.
WTF with that Euro b-ball play?? The defender dunked the ball in his own hoop?
James Gray but hey it looked cool
James Gray yes a black player
The Sarge Why does the color matter lol
Josh Johnson “But hey it looked cool” ;^)
James Gray .4 seconds remaining the shot was taken, and 0.0 when he dunked. I think he may have made some bets against his own team.
The hockey player who scored in his own net in the first play is now the GM of the Montreal Canadiens. His trades and overall management of the team has been on par with his own goal.
That air ball was hilarious the second to last one. haha
8:23 is me
Yea ok
2:56 Apparently so did everyone else on the court.

4:14 this actually happened at a HS soccer game of mine. Our striker wanted to hit the ball so hard into the open net to look cool that it shot up, hit the bar, and bounced back out.
7:31 can you imagine a nba player giggling after doing something like that
In the moment, maybe not, but I'm sure they'd be laughing about it in the locker room afterwards. There'd be about a 95% chance they'd tell the media they were going to be on Shaqtin' a Fool.

1:12 there was a board game from the 80’s that I have called VCR football. You draw cards that tell you how many yards you gain or lose as you try to get a TD. Some cards have the word VCR where you watch the next clip and the that’s the result of your turn.
This clip is on that videotape (it’s the only one I really remember). But when you played the game enough, you knew when it was coming up. If you draw the VCR card and get this clip, your opponent gets the safety.

A couple others is a Boswell trick onside kick where he kicks the ball into the back of his calf so it went like 2 feet forward, a Jim Zorn 4th down trick formation play call that the opposing team called timeout for to prepare and he still went with the same look after the timeout and that formation pretty heavily favoured the defense, the Ravens defense not touching down Marvin Harrison and start going back to huddle up leading Harrison to jump up and run it in for a free TD, Russell Westbrook taking an inbounds pass and walking it up the court about 9 steps with no dribble, JR Smith not knowing the score in game one of the 2018 finals
