“I’ll tell you what were having an earth-“
That’s actually scary
I agree.
When I first saw it, I thought, "Oh no.".
Yeah, that really spooked me.
Idk if you knew this or not, but this was not only a 6.9 earthquake, but the first major earthquake to be broadcast by live television! It's called the Loma Prieta earthquake!
I think we always had an earth and he just didn't notice it.
10:37 check out the golf car in the middle left side of the frame... There were like "Hell no, we are going back!".
😂😂😂😂
Cymatic 😂😂
That is one of the funniest shit ive ever seen OMFG 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Here is a verse if anyone wants it: Ephesians 4:29

Yeah my bush
10:29 look how the band doesn't even react to it while even the football guys are running off the field. Thats dedication right there.
Thats how we are taught
It's absolutely required on and off the field. Crazy when you consider that professional-level discipline is expected of people ages 11-18 (I did band from 6th grade to senior year and marching band from 6th grade to freshman year. Played the Clarinet and I honestly miss those days. Been two years since I graduated). Band directors are perpetually stress bombs waiting to explode for some reason, so it's best that the band be the wind-up toys that play the music rather than be, you know, kids. The music is honestly the best part once everything is put together, but getting there was excruciating
I was in marching band in high school. This is very accurate.
Holding tubas and drums in a lightning storm😂😂😂
I think the football team might have already been getting off for halftime
10:35 it was perfectly timed with the music
The Music Teacher is still going even during and after the thunder like he wasn't phased by it.

“This video will not show injuries or tragedies” ........ **plane falls out of the sky and catches fire**
No one was injured though.
Then the San Fran earthquake too
LOL I know that was my first thought, right from a disclaimer to a goddamn plane crash!
Lol

You said there’d be no injuries but that bird dead af

Pre-9/11/2001: "You see that area on the sideline that's where the explosive device detonated... the New Orleans bench is a bit shook up and they are searching that man in the crowd but there's no reason to evacuate or anything no harm no foul"
Paul Fisher times are changing you hear about that mall that had balloons popped and people starting freaking out thinking it was gun shots and even called 911?
yeah it’s sad really lot of messed up people but why risk it if you hear a loud noise run in todays world
Dude for real, that shit happens today and we'd have people dead from the resulting stampede
It is from the Seattle Seahawks game long time ago!!! That was a scary and as a boom to me jumping me up!!!!!!!?😨😮
The Randy Johnson bird-killing incident will always be one of the most amazing events captured on camera. Have you ever seen a bird fly that low in between a pitcher and catcher before in the MLB? Then, one actually does, and it just happens to be in the exact wrong spot at the exact wrong moment during a Randy Johnson fastball.
It not the first time a bird got hit too, there a another clip where a bird stop a catcher from a ball
"The marching band refused to yield."
I saw Satan laughing with delight
Theirs not to question why, theirs but to flute or die.
@@CharlesUrban Into the fields of play
Marched the mighty few dozen
Do you recall what was the deal?
The funny thing is, you can see the football team running inside while the band continues their show without even stuttering. Great marching bands have it ingrained that they are supposed to keep going unless the drum major(s) or directors say something. As someone else so eloquently put it, “I don’t care if the second coming of Christ is happening behind me, your eyes are on me.” It’s beautiful in all honesty.
roof collapses "wow"
It was literally held up by air. Just air. It was a poor engineering design to begin with.
Fitz Brockway was that real bc it kinda looked fake
@@dicenthomas4552 I think that happened twice, most recently in 2012. It relied on higher air pressure inside the dome to hold the roof up. When they had a storm outside, it caused a hole in the roof, causing lower air pressure inside. Because the air pressure inside and outside balanced, there was nothing holding up the roof. The stadium has since been demolished and replaced, despite being only about 30 years old.
You can do a search for "Metrodome roof collapse" to find out more about it.

In the last clip, announcer Joe Starkey constructs a tour-de-force of s lunatic raving incomprehensive display of towering ,mental fragmentation nad majestic demonstration of marble-mouthed mental fragmentatlon combining degeneration of the English Language into herds of would record a monologs of garbled speech pioneered by some of our more recent presidential masters of debating skills such as George W., Ronald Raygun,

His first five descriptions are so totally non-indicative of the action as to qualify as astounding. So dominatingly pitiful. I listened to that play on KGO radio, and Starkey didn't give the listening audience even a CLUE as to what was taking place, until other announcers managed to string together coherent points so it more or less came together. So glaringly and supremely abysmal that I believed I was experiencing new pinnacles of descriptive whiffs that brought flailing incopetence to new heights of sublimenity and magestic whiffsffffffs to bring a new level jultilevel one couldn't believe he was regarded as a dean of play by play announcers. A person was just incredulous in the face of Starkey's instant monument to tongue-tied szisoid attainment and what nrvs,r as to what he 'accomplished that glorious day, and couldn't help but awaken to the scope aThnd breadth of his futility. it was almost as though he was at a a different game than where Cal and Stanford were in the final play of an emotional year for the Cal Bears, who's hopes went down in flames of poor plays in Coach Kilmer's swan song as leader of a college football team, where he demonstrated in no uncertain terms that he had no business as the head guy of a division 1 football program Just a Tower of Inability, leaving his audience wondering that the hell had just happened, besides Stanford's Band marching onto the field in a victory celebration, while Cal was closing in on a knockout touchdown. I'm not positive about the name of Cal's Coach, but remember him as QB of either the Redskins or Vikings in previous years.. but his annointment as the saviour of the increasing ineptitude of the football sqaud during several years, culminating in this final year of inglorious collapses until this, the final game of the year, and of his contract. Wait, the ancient RAM chip has finally pulled up his name from the either, it is Joe Kapp... beloved by the Bear's long-suffering fans, annointed as the Great Leader to what was surely to be a string of Rose Bowl Champions, but more like the great man that retired Cal's Coaching Doghouse into with an asesome series of collapses. All hail Coach Kapp!, my all time Chosen One.

the world series earthquake. the live television broadcast is terrifying. how it cuts out in the middle of them saying “oh my god, we are having an eathquake”, how it cuts to black and then to the ‘world series’ picture, how the sound comes back on to the sound of screaming people, how the broadcaster are laughing, as a coping mechanism because they’re terrified and they just want to make people feel better about the possible death that is yet to come. you never think that stuff would happen until it does.
I felt the earthquake. I was in the Army and we were on a joint exercise with the Marines from Yuma Marine Corps Air Station. About a dozen of us were there as an advance party for the rest of our unit that was to arrive a few days later. We had gone to evening mess and had returned to the barracks to watch the game, Right when the broadcast flickered the ground vibrated. Not in a massive way or so much as to frighten anyone but pronounced enough not to ignore. Our first thought was that a large plane was taking off.
kelsey douthwright the A's still won after though👌 go a's
I was in a car when that quake hit. Scariest moment of my childhood
You do realize that the only danger in earthquakes is falling objects right? In those stadiums, the odds of any of it collapsing due to the earthquake, especially when built near a fault line, is low. So no one was especially in imperative danger
I lived in San Jose, California at the time. I was 9 years old and that quake terrified me.
10:32 that was so perfect with the lightning XD
With the fire the people right in front of it are like
"Oh hey that's smoke! Eh woohoo go team!!!!!"
Parachutist at 7:50 (fam man) was definitely injured. He was dragged into the crowd and beaten by both fans and ringside security before being taken to jail later that night.
After all these years I finally get the 'Fan man' reference from the Simpson's episode where Homer becomes a boxer. Lol

The announcer seemed oddly composed for witnessing a plane crash
False flag
Jk well if you think about how little time they had from first seeing it to plane down his brain didnt have time to process it. Then it crashed and he seemed pretty shocked
He's the one who tampered with the plane himself.
It's not uncommon to see low flying planes in the area due to there being an airfield within about a mile of the stadium.
You have to be able to process what you're seeing and react quickly, for that job.

Is there was a fire next to the stadium during a game.
*WHY WOULD YOU CONTINUE WITH THE GAME?!*
LSU and Auburn. The SEC, it's what we do.
for reals what if the wind blew it over and had to evacuate people would be getting trampled. Weird how much less intelligent society seemed as a whole only a few decades ago . The evacuation at the last second would be more of a disaster than the fire.
They should have evacuated the sections next to the fire at least.. that smoke can't be healthy to enhale.
It was a lot farther away than it looked. Turned out to be an empty facility some blocks away from the stadium
SEC football. It just means more 👍
Al Michaels did a stellar job. Going from sportscaster to reporting on the tragedy of that day.
Love the Bowe vs Holyfield II match up with the "Fan Man" crashing into the ropes, and subsequently, getting the tar beat out of him... two other incidents in sports that could have been thrown in the mix...

2) Bowe vs Golota 1, Riot in Madison Square Garden.

Did anyone think the plane was clickbait
Joe Sprake lmao I did!
Surprisingly I hadn't seen that highlight before! After all the SportsCentres and Sports Top 10's, I had never seen that before???? Lmao
Nope... in fact, I thought it might have been footage of when a plane crashed into the old Memorial Stadium in Baltimore since I couldn't really see the picture all that clearly. That happened in 1976, just a few minutes after the crowd cleared out following a Colts-Steelers playoff game. This clip here happened up in Alaska during 2003. I remember seeing it way back then, but have forgotten about it since.
IIRC the pilot of the plane in Baltimore died, so it wouldn't be included per Savage's no-tragedy/no-injury rule. It was my first thought looking at the thumbnail, too.
pronkb000 Good point, but I was thinking that before I clicked on the video. On this screen, all I could really see was the plane, a small portion of the wall, and some stands. Turns out that there doesn't seem to be any footage of the Baltimore crash... even though there were still cameras on the field. Also, there was a cop who got hit by the plane. It happened that close to the end of the game that security and crew were still in the stands.
Came for the thumbnail, wasn't disappointed
