1.this looks amazing
2. It's about time this becomes a
musical
3.if this doesn't go to Broadway like Hunchback didnt Get to go to Broadway I'll be highly upset.
4.next The Road To Eldorado should be a musical.
5. I am freaking tears.
not gonna lie, Eldorado needs to be next. It can work....the giant rock jaguar might be a bit hard to pull of tho
actually its going to be a broadway musical I read about it
ummm yes!!!
I’m pretty sure it’s going to broadway at some point. The musical had a worldpremiere in Denmark earlier this year and it was recieved fantasticly. There were an american production invovled so that it could run in america quickly (the musicals in denmark only get one or two seasons because we don’t have a lot of big stages to perform on)
POINT FOUR THANKS
We need a filmed version of this or a broadway transfer or a cast recording. It’s time we see this show on Broadway because it’s a truly amazing story and has some of the best music I’ve ever heard.
MoPhan256 it will probably go on tour in the US if it does well in Utah
I emailed the company asking if they'd sell DVDs or something, but got no reply.
It's going to the West End!!
I think there is a law that they cant sell a dvd copy or hd copy online
Steven Spielberg should have made this into a film instead wasting time on West Side Story. This would have been a far more personal musical for him to tackle.
1:40 When they're singing "The Plagues" and the plagues are happening behind them. AMAZING!!!!!
“I send the thunder from the sky, I send the fire raining down, I send a hail of burning ice on every field, on every town.”
The plagues is my absolute favorite I cannot wait for this 😩
Google User Damn that gave me chills!!! It was freaking fantastic!
The plague is my favorite song
SinDawg030 "Once I called you brother, once I thought the chance to make you laugh, was all I ever wanted"
Ramses is black. Moses is not.
Moses: Mother, am I adopted?
Tuya: What would lead you to think that, dear?
Moses: Oh... nothing...
Nathan Smith my homie Moses just thought he was lightskin
XD XD XD XD
Mother: It's....just a tan!
Oof
Yes exactly
Yeah just like how angelica is black and eliza is an asian in hamilton
if this doesn't go on Broadway I'm going to have a relapse of post-Hunchback of Notre Dame syndrome.
ASKWJBODUBE BITCH ME TOO THE FUCK
hNNG
LMAOOOO OMG SAME Im so glad I’m not the only one salty about hunchback!!!
Saw it at Papermill Playhouse... what a mess!
really? I thought it was excellent!
Did anyone see the humanization n choreography of the river ? Love it
Ravena Ambros I’m not sure if I like it
Meme worthy
Ravena Ambros IT WAS SO AWESOME OMG
They use similar choreography for the sandstorm in the desert.
This staging looks so much better than the one that is currently at the Dominion Theatre on the West End - apparently, the burning bush isn't even on fire in the West End production.
The only reason this staging was able to do fire is bc tuahcan is outside. Actual fire in theaters is no joke
Somebody finally did it. SOMEBODY FINALLY DID A STAGE ADAPTATION!!!!! Man, if I lived anywhere near Utah, I'd have bought a ticket this instance. Please make this available for online viewing!!!
Unluckly I Live in Italy...
My reaction was the same lol! They did it!
They did an adaptation in NorCal some time ago too and I was so bummed I couldn't go
I'm from Brazil ..please someone help me 😐🤣
Saw it last week! Amazing production!
"I'm a Hebrew"
"No one could ever know that"
Well, hate to break it to you
Unpopular opinion:
This version is waaay better than the other one's 2020
can't believe this comes from the same theater company that did Shrek the musical. ii wish more dreamworks shows go to broadway
Joshua Pyun I won’t be surprised if DreamWorks adapts How to Train Your Dragon in the future
Manuel Orozco We wish!
Becky Nance It’s just a thought. But the music has to really stand out as well as puppetry.
How to Train Your Dragon Actually did have a live show. It wasn’t a musical. It was an arena show kinda like Disney on Ice and it included a massive Toothless animatronic.
Mpiewizard I do remember but I didn’t see it
Seeing this compared to the West End production is just stunning. Diversity, gorgeous set, costuming that just looks right (I don’t know about historical accuracy but it just feels like the film), and acting that truly reflects the status of these characters. Beautiful.
THIS looks waaaay better than the West End version.
I testify to that
The West End version is a much more stripped down, intimate production and it worked wonderfully. This looks like a Broadway level production and this looks just as compelling and beautiful. It’s always amazing seeing the multiple versions and interpretations a production goes through and this looks like a spectacle to behold. I just love this show and seeing it be developed over the years has been fantastic!
So I’m not the only one who feels this way
I loved the movie now it’ll be a play!? Omg!! I’m not religious at all but growing up when I got home from being bullied all day at school to a verbally abusive household, I’d pop this movie in when I was at my very lowest and it’s always made me feel better. I’d really like to see the play of it :) could be promising
It definitely has potential!
I do hope you'd take a look at the Bible. Jesus came to save us lowly sinners and take us to heaven - you, and me, and every other person on this planet. God is here to save us when we're broken on the ground, so we can reach up, because He already rose. God bless :)
Yup my childhood too. I am religous though.
Rose Coffin remember no matter where you came from- you are amazing! Glad the movie gave you such joy!
The Patriotic Romper Took a look at the Bible, I’d rather not worship a god that sent bears to kill 42 children because they called a man “baldy” (2 Kings 2:23-24). Or allowed ANYTHING in the book of Leviticus (seriously, a man was stoned to death for gathering firewood on Sunday). Some forgiving god.

Oh my gosh if this becomes a broadway show I so gotta see it. Hopefully it will go to the UK as well in the west end. I'd love to see this it looks beautiful.
We'll the Madagascar musical opened off the West end on the UK recently. So I think it's DreamWorks plan to copy the Disney musical formula
Me too!! I’ve always wanted to see this as a West End Show! 🤞🏻
Good news... IT IS! It was announced yesterday!
boy have I got news for you
@@alyr228 IS IT SHOWING IN THE UK I HAVE TO SEE IT
IT'S ONLY A TRAILER SO WHY AM I CRYING???
They have better costumes than the westend version TBH.
With the new London production coming out, I'm scared I'll never get to see this version of the musical. It looks so beautifully creative and different from anything else on Broadway
And London production IS HEDIOUS, period, nothing to do with the movie
Shrek is this
it's not possible. This is an outdoor theater that uses actual moving water that is directed down the stage.
Tell me why this looks about a thousand times better than the west end one
I have always loved the movie since it first came out. To see it finally get a stage adaptation makes me so happy.
P L E A S E
we need a dvd version for everyone who wasnt there to see it live aaaAAAAAAAAA
YES PLEASE ON A STREAMING SERVICE OR SOMETHING
This version of “The Prince of Egypt” looks so much better than the West End version. I wish we got a filmed version of this show!
Me:

.
FIIIIIINAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!
Please tell me there is a DVD of this production!
Won't a DVD defeat the purpose of the production??????
DALE HOPSON Not when it is released after the production. Also, it gives the chance to reach a larger audience. An audience who are not able to see it live like me.
Superfajar
I need it!
DALE HOPSON yes but it's only showing in Utah! What about the other states and countries in the world who would sell their souls to see this? Like me!
Tuacahn hasn't made a DVD of any of the performances there as far as I know. They're a not for profit organization, so I don't think they'd be able to afford the rights to do that without a generous donation.
why does this look better than the west end one?? if only i can see this live or watch a bootleg 😭
This looks so much better than the West End version!
Shit this isn't the West end version is there a Original cart soundtrack?
Okay WHO gave her permission to have such an angelic voice.
Gabriela Carrillo- she's in Six on Broadway right now I think. Her voice is such a well developed instrument! Amazing.
about two weeks ago I was reading The Prince of Egypt wikipedia page and found out it was getting a musical version!! then this appeared on my recommended just now. I wanna see The Plagues staged and everything aaaahh :D
Camila Ugarte Totally the highlight of the play. Either that or when they flood the stage. They can do so much in an outdoor theater.
It has actually been a musical for over half a year now. We had a world premiere in Denmark (both in danish and in english) with broadway Jason Gotay as Ramses. I saw it with my school and it was amazing 😁
@@crazy_panda_8713 That's right! I remember I saw the trailer for this group's Hunchback and the legit had a live goat
@@thewomandressedinred8156 is there a dvd????
@@sofiejade1141 No sorry, they record it for future productions but there is not enough demand for released movies of theatre production in Denmark 😔
I WISH I COULD JUMP AROUND AND CHEER AND SCREAM BUT I'M IN A CAR. 8D Man I hope and pray this succeeds!!! Everyone needs to share it and get ppl talking about it!
Omg The Prince of Egypt is a classic! It’s prolly one of my all time favorite animated films! I cried as a little kid watching all those years ago and I am crying now just watching this little bit of the musical! ❤️😭👏🏼
I really hope they do this show again! We are so sad that we missed it. Tuacahn's trailer looks way better than the broadway one!!!!
the amount of time I’ve been complaining about the fact that The Prince of Egypt and Hercules weren’t musicals and then I found out about Hercules and nOW THIS IM GONNA CRYYYYYYY
As one who's hearing this Classic story every Passover, It's looks like a great musical!
I have to see this. I’m not one to believe in what the Bible says, but this cartoon really touched my spirit
Honestly, if ANY story ever deserved a musical adaptation, it's this one.
This show is coming to the West End in London and I am excited to see it
This rendition of “You will when you believe” has made me cry, just like the original. Thank you.
I had the privilege of seeing this in person. It was as amazing as it looks in the trailer.
The songs in prince of Egypt make me cry such a greater movie and now musical
Please let the entire show be filmed and put on to a dvd, or other format!! I would buy it in a heart beat since I can't get to Utah to see it
An actual Broadway show is coming soon, but it is not this one. It is a new one developed by Philip LaZebnik, Stephen Schwartz, Danish Fredericia Teater and TheatreWorks in Silicon Valley, and it is currently playing in a new redesigned version at the Danish Royal Theater. It is amazing. But it has some differences from the movie.
Please, please, please, bring it back!!! Bought 2 tickets to see it but then COVID hit and it's so sad that it's over!... 🙏🙏🙏😥😥😥
I’m sobbing! Please can this come and tour the uk??? I NEED TO SEE IT!!!!!!
the incorporation of really intricate contemporary dance?? sign me UP
This should have been on Broadway the second it came out 20+ years ago!!! I seriously hope and pray this goes on tour!! I'd sell my soul to see this!! I will always have a seriously long strong connection for TPOE like I have with Disney, it will forever be my FAVORITE Dreamworks film!! I was 2 when it came out and even if I didn't understand the biblical history and religion, I was and forever will be in love with it!! ❤️❤️ petition to have this on tour and Broadway, say I! 🙋
so much for praying lol
Can't wait to hear the songs- the plagues, playing with the big boys, and deliver us. Those where the best songs.
The Prince of Egypt is honestly one of my favourite movies, it needs to become a live action film asap.
YES my dreams have come true what a time to be alive!!!
"EVERYTHING. IS. ABOUT. ME!" - Ramses
This looks SOOO much better, than the upcoming Broadway production. The costumes, in particular, look more accurate to the time-period, and they don't shy away nearly as much from the darkness and violence. (8/6/2021)
Dream works production of live musical don't get enough recognition
Nixxi Trolls would be cool to see on stage
Well, I just learned this is coming to the west end in February 2020...
I'M SO FLIPPING HYPED RIGHT NOW!
I would pay any price just to see it. Please, please make this a DVD for the ones who are not living in the USA 🙏🙏🙏
Loved this show as a kid, even now the music still sends chills down my back. I hope it comes to Brodway and doesnt just stay in one area, because I'd love to see it.
Now all we need is one made from the Joseph movie as well and some other DreamWorks movies
Tuacahn, please perform Prince of Egpyt again!!!!!
God, I really hope this makes it all the way to Broadway, hopefully with Norm Lewis as Jethro :)
west end could learn a few things
Probably the most underrated DreamWorks film. I wish I could see this.
Please please please go to Broadway! The world needs to see this story!
So Moses is finally having a musical. First we had Joseph and then Jesus Christ. Now, Moses.
Well, when an untainted musical or dramatisation appears about Muhammad peace be upon him appears that would be something
To behold as well
I'll bet there is going to be a Noah's Flood next. Besides Joseph is an awesome musical. Cant wait for Moses
Wow...I’m one giant goosebump. The music and story has got to be incredible live. So powerful!
I am so excited for this. The Prince of Egypt is proabably my all time favorite movie.
This explains why the Prince of Egypt was taken off Netflix. I was originally upset, but now i am SOOOO EXCITED!
Is "Playing with the Big Boys" going to be in this???
Unfortunately, that is the only big ticket missing. Hotep sort of starts chanting the god’s names just before the plagues but otherwise, you won’t be disappointed. The plagues is for me the highlight of the play. In the video you can see it a little but they shoot little fire balls onto the stage to explode. Also, at the end, they actually flood the stage with water to wash away the soldiers. Losing Playing with the Big Boys is a small price to pay for the perfection that is this play.
I was slightly disappointed with the loss of Playing With the Big Boys, but the new numbers and the amazing production quality make up for it.
Sadly no my boys don't get their song, they decided to get rid of Huy for the play yet keep in Hotep [which was a pretty stupid idea in my opinion] and they also made him one of the main villains in the story from what I've read. Hopefully if it ever gets to broadway they'll put Long Nose back in and possibly Playing with the Big Boys, but I don't think it i will happen
Crazy_Panda_87 Tuacahn’s productions have the best water effects 🤩 I saw their opening for The Little Mermaid when they had Eric’s ship actually sailing on water and I just about lost it!
I’m glad they’re using it for this one as well
S. Spyro7956 they did it again on that shitty west end production
Oh my gosh...
This has been a wish of many!
Hope it will be well-done and get positive recognition, and big crowds.
Omg I would CRY watching this!!! Please come to U.S even tho we don’t deserve this masterpiece 😭
Oh wow.... I wish I would have known about this, what an experience it surely was. I’d just be in tears for most of it.
The best show I’ve ever seen at Tuacahn! Truly remarkable!
This is absolutely beautiful and I’m absolutely pissed West End made a mess of it smh
Oh noooo!! I was excited to see the show but thought it would be like this trailer!! That's disappointing to hear because this looks so so good!
What is Dalmatians time
I was in this production at Tuacahn and was so sad I never got to see it in London.
I've seen this twice now and really wanna go again.
I love this movie, and as a play, it's beautiful...
It's about time! I can't wait for it to go on tour!
Hopefully this'll make it to Broadway!!
THIS MOVIE WAS MY CHILDHOOD
I believe many of these actors are from New York. Tuacahn puts on Broadway plays.I watched this play and they did an excellent job! So worth the 1200 mile drive to watch it!
I want to see this ,hope it comes to australia
holy shit same here dude
It’s about time. This looks incredible.
Why can I only like this once? I'm going to cry, it looks so good and I want to see it so badly.
I remember watching the movie when I was 10. Time flies by so quickly.
Omg !!! I've been waiting forever for this !!
Gorgeous! What a production!
For years now I’ve been saying this needs to become a musical! I’m so glad it’s finally happened and it looks beautiful! Hope it comes home to broadway
INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I want to see it sooooooo badly!!! PLEASE HAVE A TOUR
Ok hearing When You Believe in a new way is beautiful. But there is not enough visual spectacle for me to enjoy.
Agreed. Instead of a proper musical, it definitely falls more into that trope of religious musicals that beat you over the head with the message, have sparse sets, and use more lighting and projection effects to try and make you realize the stage isn't as empty as it is.
Which is a shame; if this were stage better, it could be so good! Instead, it feels like a cheap religious musical when the movie was sooo much more.
Sean McGuire Prince of Egypt was one of the most popular animated films of the 90’s for god sake
@@SeanMcGuire92 dude. They fucking shot fireballs onto the stage for the plagues and they FLOODED THE GODAMN STAGE at the end. How much more spectacle do you want?!
I know that the chances I have to get to see this live are slim to none, but I'm so excited for this!! I hope there will be a DVD release of this soon!
Oh, I would pay whatever amount of money needed for a copy of this show filmed! I love the movie so much and I wish, I wish I could make it to a showing of this musical. It looks absolutely amazing and spectacular!
I’ve been working Concessions this season, and can honestly say this is the best show of the entire season.
I NEED TO SEE THIS
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Yay! Bringing God and His message to a world like this is amazing!
This was one of the best musicals I’ve ever seen! It’s become my favorite show Tuacahn has ever produced. The actors were all amazingly talented, the choreography was incredible, and the effects were mind-blowing. I wanted to see it again as soon as it ended. I loved the character development of Moses and Ramses and even Ramses’ wife. Everything was stunning-from the burning bush to the live camels to parting the Red Sea. Also all the new music is beautiful and now really I want this soundtrack! Very, very well done!!
I remember at movie
It looks pretty awesome and all really grand but... Am I the only one thinks that this "When you believe" doesn't sound as heartfelt as the movie version? It's kinda 'polished' and feels more 'automatic' somehow. And that Tzipporah's scream was weird.
This NEEDED TO HAPPEN! Hopefully every country will take up on this
This is so much better than the other company that's making this a musical!!
His wife needs to be alot more dark skinned
When your white friend claims they're part Cherokee....
@@mfitzburger5137 😂😂😂
Yep almost 2020 and they've missed the mark again sending space shuttles up but still can't get the hue of these biblical characters correct 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
This is ligerally much, much better than the one in West End and Broadway. The costumes are not modern, tacky monstrosities and the sets, wow. The interpretative dancing is not over the top and tacky as well.
This is honestly my favorite movie since I was little girl and to see this turn into a musical is a blessing❤️
we did a ballet dance to "Deliver Us" and this makes me want to do more dances... or even be in this. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!
