Cruising Down a DEAD-END Arm on The BCN Was NOT a Good Idea!

- Today we continue our cruise through Birmingham, with the ultimate goal of reaching Catherine Dee Barnes, where the van is located, but the day is getting on now, so we must find a secure place to moor for the night, and with going through the Netherton tunnel and into the heart of the BCN, its vital we find a safe place for the night, and I have one in mind. there's an old arm called the engine Arm, which used to have a pump house at the end of it, it has a very secure mooring, but there's only one space, will we get it? and most importantly can we turn around?

Walked on my local chesterfield canal today was so lovely saw 3canal boats and getting a shire horse ready to pull a canal boat as they used to .😀
We absolutely loved the Chesterfield canal. It was amazing one of our favourites and so quiet this time of year. The water is so clear as well its like looking into an aquarium. You are very lucky to have that canal on your doorstep.😊

We like exploring urban canals as well as countryside one as the Birmingham canals have so much history. Its very interesting 😊

Shame about the graffiti and rubbish in the canal. I guess that's what urban canals are like. Some of that area is quite pretty.
That's the trouble with urban canals. It is the same near big towns there is always rubbish in the canal it's very sad to see.
