I've taken and totally enjoyed the two-day Performance Course three years in a row. BUT with price increases of 10% (2021-2022) and 19.6% (2022-2023) you have to wonder why the last course was half-full. Look, we go through roughly one tank of gas. That does not call for a 19.6% increase in the cost. And nobody gets a 19.6% pay hike in a year.

If you want the real experience, hook up with the local SCCA and find a track near you. It’s an incredible way to hone your driving skills and get real actual track and race seat time in your own car, and connect with local gearheads. There are outstanding tracks all over the country. You can get licensed in a couple of weekends. The best way to learn is to get on the track and drive.
