    I have pcos and started drinking cyst tea which has all the ingredients that are in their medicine. I am also a pharmacy tech so I understand the medical side of medication. They are not saying to never ever take the pill but the pill is being overly prescribed for minor problems and can cause severe life-altering adverse effects on patients. I love the breakfast club took time to address this problem

    I agree with them. I worked in public health for 7 years and the pill is prescribed for everything in a lot of cases. Many of these young girls were as young as 12 and they had a lot of problems from it (high blood pressure, headaches, etc. )
    My mom has liver issues and it is believed to be related to taking the pill. Before you shoot down the message, please do your own independent research.

    The way these men are referring to cramps, as if it's just some little thing. Endometriosis pain is debilitating. Some woman can't go to work or even get out of bed during their cycle. Their tone is offensive and dismissive.

      @shaniecekennedy5370 Před 5 lety +15

      I agree. In the beginning when he mentioned being put on BC for minor things like excessive bleeding I clutched my pearls. Like bleeding thru 2 pads in 30 mins is not healthy! Some people need alternatives like the pill. On top of the discomfort there is pain, like--you can't think these things are minor!

    • @infinitedreaming222

      That's because endometriosis is NOT NORMAL. Your not born with that - you can reverse it. So many people go on keto and eat unlimited greens, use herb Mix called 'womb sweep' or even in my case 1/2 tsp of molasses everyday reduced my cycle to 3 days with no cramps and pms symptoms after 1 month of use.

    This reminds me of the men in Congress sitting around trying to debate abortion laws and telling women what to do with their bodies. You have 2 male "doctors" who aren't even real physicians along with Envy and Charlemagne discussing PMS symptoms and "small minute symptoms like bleeding". It's hard to even take them seriously to be honest.

  • @ashleybrantley17

    I understand this completely. I almost died in November because I developed blood clots all over my body because of a side effect of the birth control patch. Then the medication I was on for blood clots had me on a weight restriction and I strained a rib at work, lifting something that was too heavy, because I didn’t know about the restriction until afterwards. It’s almost been a year and I’m still paying for being in the hospital.

I ended up having to go to the er on Saturday, IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SHIFT, because I couldn’t breath.
      They told me if I had waited until Wednesday, I wouldn’t have made it. Then was told by three doctors at two different hospitals, that under no circumstances should I be on any type of hormonal birth control.
      I told my mom that I know she wants me to be married before hand, but I’m grown, 25 to be exact. If I get pregnant, I’m just gonna be pregnant and I’m keeping it. I’m not looking for a med type of birth control. I used condoms and pay attention to when I ovulate. F Birth Control.

    Ladies, ladies, ladies listen up. In order to stop your cramps the only exercise you have to do is sit ups. I know they are one of the most hated exercises but, thats the only natural thing that's going to help you with your cramps. Instead of flopping down on the couch and vegging out for hours, lay on the floor and just start knocking out sit up. No matter if it's 2 or 3 and you have to rest try implementing atleast 10 to 15 minutes a day that's it all I want in return is a thank you and it's free.

    Some of this is really bad advice. The ovulation method and pulling out is going to get a lot of people in danger of pregnancy or STIs. Also every women isn’t built the same, that’s why their are multiple forms of female birth control and even birth control for men. Trying to posture that there is a one all be all method for all women is dangerous. Also they really need to provide data to prove what they are saying.

    Im sure they got facts and I can do my own research for verification but this interview irritated me.
    10:35 DJ envy ask them two times what are the alternatives? No specific answers was given
    12:20 they talk about tracking ovulation schedules. I personally have an app. How many people let alone teens realistically do that?! Typically that is for women who are trying to conceive. Some people can’t even remember when their last period started and ended
    13:10 chemicals in condoms that are worst.. then what the hell are we suppose to use then? To protect ourself from disease or pregnancy
    16:00 They said their are certain herbs and healthier option but didn’t name ONE
    17:40 birth control was created to reduce the black population and was tested on minorities. I am pretty sure that probably is true. However What is the alternatives when you can’t afford surgeries ? Having 5 kids when you are making minimum wages is not a GOAL
    19:56 immunizations and vaccines are dangerous. Fine, Tell that to the mother who lives in a third world country where their child are at risk for some serious diseases

      12:20 cycle tracking is a great tool and if a woman rather not do it, its her loss. it takes next to nothing to put a note/reminder in your calendar. lack of "percieved" convience should not excuse laziness. teens probably dont do it because they weren't taught. my mother taught me and said you must ALWAYS know when your period last came and who you have sex with and when. a woman should atleast know the date of her last period. now for more in-depth temp. tracking and discharge tracking has been a great tool paired with condoms or pull out has been effective for me and women like me to avoid pregnancy. i just have sex on my least fertile days. no its not a pill but it is the most natural.

      Well what are you seeking an alternative for? They mentioned that about 30% of women who are prescribed the pill because of non-birth control reasons. Idk what the alternative would be for that. But as for using it for "birth control", there are condoms for that. If you insist on using no condoms, then you could try tracking your period. I use an app to track mine and it tells me when I am most fertile and expected day of ovulation. Nothing is ever 100% proof though, so everything must be taken on your own risk. How often are some women having sex? I remember when I was on the pill for "birth control" (and that was many years ago), I wasn't even having sex much and STILL using a condom. Is a 30 days a month regimen necessary? But again, everything must be done at your own risk and the only way to guarantee no pregnancy is to not have sex at all.

    “You’ve got these mothers, they’re taking their daughters to the GYN just for basic small minute concerns you know the heavy bleeding...the pill”
    I understand what he’s saying and there’s some validity there but I refuse to let a man diminish women’s hormonal and reproductive issues. He has NEVER experienced women’s hormonal issues and never will. E.g. Heavy bleeding and period pain is not something that is minute especially when you get to the point of having to be prescribed the pill. I have a friend that had such massive period pain and heavy bleeding in high school that she had to stay at home during her periods...another one didn’t have her period till she was 17 and had to be put on the pill to manually stimulate her puberty because it’s abnormal for a 17 year old girl to not have had her period so they both had to go on the pill for different reasons but greatly helped their issues.
    If you’re going to be criticising something that helps so many women around the world, please offer us a medical and viable alternative. How are you gonna ensure people like my 2 friends who were teenagers going through massive hormonal issues have viable alternatives to help them? 🤔 I am so done with these pseudo-medical professionals 🙄😒

    For all of you in the comment section saying they're pushing a product. Everything comes with a price nothing in this world is free. And so does your doctor every time the schedule you for another appointment to tell you information they already know regarding your health to collect your $20 copay and a percentage off of your medical insurance or HMO. All of you saying , " they're not qualified to speak on these topics." A lot of the information they're spreading is quite close if not identical to Dr. Sebi's information. And lastly , for those of you saying "who have they helped and cured?" I suggest doing more research before commenting in the comment section. Look up the interview before this one that they did. They had two ladies that also appeared with them in the interview explaining how their products and diet plan helped curing them of the PCOS and fibroids. JannaLavie1221 At least the pharmaceutical companies are transparent. They provide facts, figures, and science so that you can make informed decisions about what you put into your body. I’m sorry but in the real world there’s no magic cure that keeps everyone healthy, medicines sometime cause other effects. These fake doctors don’t provide ANY data, you don’t even know what you’re putting in your body.

    • @RioHasAGuitar
      @RioHasAGuitar Před 5 lety +1

      JannaLavie1221 Also something a lot of POC don’t know is that there are multiple doctors out there. Get a working relationship with your doctor; become a team. You can find better solutions if any form of treatment isn’t working. If your doctor won’t work with you, find another one.

    • @JannaLavie
      @JannaLavie Před 5 lety

      RioHasAGuitar they aren't transparent at all. They tell you certain things but not everything. Sometimes they don't even know about certain effects because they're long term and the drugs are new to the market. People have been used as testers. Many doctors don't even know what's in vaccines, pills, etc. so how would the general public know? I will agree and say that the herbalists did not provide a specific solution in the video but at the same time they said multiple times that it's all about regulating the body via diet and natural remedies. Once that happens, the body would be in a better position to fight illnesses and with less side effects. I honestly feel like they didn't say everything because they provide a service and want people to buy into it which is just busines. We all have the power to research natural remedies to see what works for us and to look into the dark side of big pharma.

    I had a horrible experience with my GYN which made me seek a natural route in eliminating my fibroids. So far I've been taking the natural route to eliminate my Fibroids by using progesterone cream, exercising more, drinking herbal teas, eating more Organic foods/leafy greens, taking Crystal-Star-Womens-Best Friend capsules and Vitex capsules to balance my hormones. I've felt much better and can feel the difference. I will incorporate a Yoni Steam soon as well!

      Please dont believe the bullshit in this video...just because you dont understand medical science does not mean you cant simply look up the facts of the video on your own. These people arent even real doctors. They give themselves that title without an actual medical degree. Their is accredited and published research by universities and unbiased sources that prove that contraceptives and vaccines provide benefits that far outweigh the cost of using them.
