And is every woman actually a Queen? In all of history, there were way more regular folks/peasants than Kings and Queens.

Plant-based is not the same thing as vegan or vegetarian. Don't eat anything with a label. Eat plants. Don't eat process foods, no sugar, salt, or oil. Doing this has changed my life for the better. Best of health everyone!

Right on! Don't take the wrong definition for what it means to eat a plant based lifestyle. What you listed is i! These are parameters that will keep you healthy well and thriving. We are body mind and spirit. CONVENIENCE is the biggest killer of mankind. Breaking the habit of convenience is our biggest challenge to living a plant based lifestyle. Cooking from scratch as they used to say must come back for us to be successful. There are many people out there sharing recipes and this is key for the everyday cook to research and begin to incorporate dished into their dinners.

I cut meat/dairy/oil, processed foods with whole food-plant based and I do most of this. I eat whole wheat pasta with black beans, cayenne pepper and garlic powder, but also raw spinach. Sometimes berries, bananas, apples.
Coffee tho :( I need some and caffeine does impact the endothelial negatively according to Caldwell Esselstyn but I believe he says it's ok in moderation. for people without cardiac issues previously. His videos are good to watch and I recommend them to all. He treated cardiac patients with food program (in addition to medication if necessary of course). There are other doctors who do similar treatment and the success rate is far better than standard treatment. Of course, food programs are radical change and take discipline, although it gets easier after a transition period.

Very good; however, orrection: Disregard grease altogether opt for plant extracted oils such as avocado and coconut (olive oil is okay, but not so much). You might want to find plant based alternatives to dairy because unless you own a farm (or know a trustworthy person who does) you can not trust what the animals are ingesting. (i.e. free range brown eggs but their diet is CORN; 1 of the top GMO grown foods in the US. Let me say that this way: A-L-L CORN, WHEAT, and SOY in the US is Genetically Modified (gene altered=not natural) meaning: its bads outweigh its goods. And, as for the wheat: go for a (trusted)"sprouted" grain (do your research to discover why). Clean aforementioned fruits and veggies properly (if you consume the outside opt for organic) and stay clear of "seedless" everything (satan is a liar, who comes to still, kill, and destroy).

Also, I want non vegan and vegetarian Black women to know---just because other Black women are vegans and vegetarians, means you have to be like that too. Eat your Chicken, Pork, Cow, and Dairy, all you want. And what ever results you experience is your business. You do what is best for you. Vegans and Vegetarians educate each other, and some choose to educate the public. I like sharing my vegan journey with others who are interested in the topic. You don't have to be interested; you don't have to bash or criticize vegans or vegetarians. Eat your eggs, shrimp, and pork chops anytime you want, and keep on steppin'

I agree with most of what she said, the exception being alkaline water and it's impact on the digestive tract. Perhaps it's the generalization of her statements that is the issue. The average person has an extremely acidic diet and as a result the need to balance the pH is essential to minimize the potential for systemic toxicity is highly probable for the majority of Americans especially. I also take issue with her statement regarding soy products. I always encourage individuals who subscribe to the idiology that soy is carcinogenic in nature to look at and study cultures who consume soy at a much greater degree than Americans i.e. The Japanese. I propose to you to consider the fact that majority of the soy and corn produced in the US are GMO and as a result it is more appropriate to conclude that GMO soy, corn, flax seeds etc... are contributing factors in the hormone imbalances that potentially lead to cancers, thyroid issues, auto immune diseases of all sorts...etc

Wow and here I am putting flax seed in my smoothies. I'm on a mission to rid body of fibroids so this was good to know. I do try to drink Alkaline water but sticking close to 7.9-8.5pH instead of the higher levels. I have a machine that cleans my faucet water but I don't claim it's spring or alkaline.

I'd like to know your thoughts on distilled water. My understanding is that when you drink that because there are not minerals it depletes your body of the minerals trying to even out with the water in your body.

Here’s the thing, and she highlights this better in her free food download... when you are in a state of healing, especially for women whom are predisposed to having or potentially may develop fibroids....an otherwise “healthy” food may cause inflammatory issues therefore those women should stay away from these types of foods in an effort to heal...a body that’s in the process of healing needs to stay away from certain foods.

Question: How is jackfruit in comparison to those fake "veggie" burgers or even a substitute for meat, for that matter? (I had to listen to that 3 times to make sure I wasn't hearing it wrong). But for the most parts, such as the Alkaline water (because, If I am not mistaken our bodies should be at a 7.3 -7.5 alkalinity [It's been a while since I took my Anatomy & Physiology class]) information and suggested alternative (distilled), that good to get viewers started. Fyi: My profession, as well, transpired from the fibroids and endo plague. Which reminds me of the young lady that I saw buying "natural" tampons, last night at the super retail store. Two things: First and foremost; I believe there is some validity in the preparation in the material used. And last but certainly not least...the Creator made it where menses flow OUT of the body so, inserting something inside of us to alter or disrupt that natural process has consequences.

Its not necessarily bad, the key is eating for your body and its conditions. She said it was very estrogen rich i believe so if you have a condition where you could benefit from a boost of estrogen this may be great for you but if you have thyroid disease, blood clots, etc... diseases or conditions that high estrogen contributes to, then youll want to stay away from flaxeed. ❤
