Thank You for this video Zack. My model is an S3110. It's very old and luckily I had left the door open for the past several years. A friend wanted it so I began searching online to see if I might be able to recover the combo, I wasn't having any luck and many said it wasn't possible. That is until I happened upon your video. The model you used was very close to my safe and it was easy to follow. I had it apart and spinning the dials in no time and am all set now. Start to finish was barely longer than your video. Thank you again, I really appreciate it and so will my friend when I tell her.
Thanks for the great video. My neighbor threw out an empty safe with door locked open like your safe and was able to get the combination that way. I even lube up the dial and mechanism. Heavy safes. My dad and Uncle were both Locksmiths on the side and opened for customers vintage safes and made keys. Most relatives who could not get the safes open thought there was a lot of money in them but, just paper work. Take care!
This guy is a 5 Star SUPERSTAR here! My safe is newer than the one in this video, but same concept. Mine was actually easier, much easier! My teenage turds found the original code so I had to turn to ZACK to help this Mom secure her valuables. Thanks Zack for your enthusiasm and showing me how to change this combination.
According to Sentry you don't have to take the nut off. They actually recommend that you don't loosen it. They say that you can just push the tumblers away from the center bracket (aka "driver") to separate the tumbler holes from the pins, and then turn outer tumbler so that the 2nd set of holes lines up with the bracket/driver pins.
Hey Zack, I'm praying that with your new job and new hobby flying that youtube has just fallen off your radar as important. I hope you are doing well, enjoying life and family. Have a healthy and happy 2020 my friend. Steve
Zack , Really appreciated this video. Single Mom, need to change my combo for my model S0100 Sentry. Will you please make a video on this one? Checked everywhere online and on CZcams and cannot locate it. Would truly appreciate if you could. Thanks, GB... Nan
Hey Vicki thanks for asking. Safe designs undoubtedly vary a lot so this may not be helpful but here's how I did in that same situation. czcams.com/video/95LqMLRFQ3c/video.html
Thank you for saying so, Steve; I sometimes wonder if they add any value or are just a waste of time. I’m happy to answer any questions you have. Hmmm maybe it’s time to update the “here’s the gear I use to make videos” video. Drop me a line man zackofalltradesdiy@gmail.com
I just received one of these safes from a relative that passed but we don’t have to code to open it but we have the safe open. Is it possible to change this lock to an electronic lock? Or is my best bet trying to change the code.
Thanks for asking, Scruffy. I’ve flown it quite a bin over the last year and am coming up on annual time again. Hoping to venture out and put up interesting flying videos before too long.

I don't want to get crazy. Thanks for showing me how to change the last number ♥

Glad your back to putting out videos my friend!! Your a Jack of all trades Royalty!! Hope all is well!!
Hap, that might be the nicest thing anyone’s said to me all day. Thank you. It’s good to be making my way back into the groove.
Thanks for your time making this video.
Absolutely! Thanks for taking the time to watch it and comment :)
I'm buying a gently used one so I'd feel better changing the combo so only I know the combination. Thanks!!!
I'm trying to figure out how to hack into a Sentry V230 . Has a X shaped key hole, and a round combination.
For extra fun, you could make a fourth disk and use thinner washers. Then it would be a 4-number combo.
Ha! I like your thinking
Hilariously informative

Question: I have an open safe I got at a yard sale but they didn’t know the combination. How can we determine what the old combination is?

How do you change combination on a tower safe
I always set my combination to 50-60-70 it dials super fast.
Nice video Zack, I always like your little pop ups. I want to email you and ask a video camera question and editing program you are using.

I’m not sure if there’s a digital replacement available for that safe. I’d say change the code and have a nice day. Good luck!
You've found the combination to my heart!
How's your plane doing do have it all fixed or are you still working on it.

Plz work on your 1980 snowmobile and get it running
So in theory you can change it to an infinite number because you can easily flatten those dimples and create your own.
Mine isn’t like that
There not tumblers they are wheels on the wheel pack.
The bump`s the thing!
Truth!
