Grew up on a farm. Folks bought 40 acres we converted from timber to crop. Cut down trees. Dynamited stumps. Burned brush and roots. Picked up roots and sticks, put on hayrack. Burned brush and roots. Bulldozed. Burned brush and roots. Plowed land. Picked up brush and roots, burned. Surveyed land. Terraced land w/ bulldozer. Worked like dogs all summer. Called it the "Brush 40." Next year farmed the timber soil. Good crop only when you fert the dickens out of it. ENJOYED WATCHING YOU DO THIS WORK WITH MACHINERY, MIKE!! GREAT JOB.

No wonder why your so happy to be at home every night after your " light duty job". You are an inspiration to many , all with the great support team you have at home, you are truely blessed. I live about 30 minutes from the KY Speedway. I was raised on a farm in Western KY, and I still live on that same farm. I’ve always enjoyed operating any kind of equipment, from lawnmowers to caterpillar bulldozers. It was relaxing and peaceful to me. I liked operating the bulldozers the most. We cleared the land with big cutting blades after the loggers had cleared all the good timber so the paper mill could plant new trees. We worked all over Western KY, Southeastern MO, and Southern IL.

I have a friend that is an Iron Worker and they only do massive jobs, 6 months or more. He bought a travel trailer and he goes and parks it and just stays. He isn't married and his son is grown. His trailer and Dodge 2500 Diesel paid for themselves without the driving and fuel. The truck really has low miles on it. I know back in the masonry business I slept in the truck with my dad driving to work and on lunch when I was an invincible teen! I'm only about 6 months older than you and feel like I have seen and done a hundred years stuff! lol Have you seen Chris's new bucket with the lets dig logo on it? I used to do a lot of "windshield time" in my work, also. Glad that is over and done with!

Great video.... oh yeah Kentucky Speedway, I went down there a lot when it first opened. When the race was over it took forever to get out of there. Since then they’ve made improvements.

Hi my name is David. I live in Las Vegas Nevada. Washington bunch of your old ones you did really good job like property. Can't wait to see your new building. I love the outdoors. My best friend and I have a cabin up on whitefish. We just don't get to go to it much. Keep up the good work with all your videos. 😀😀😀😀

Great machine action; great stories, too. Good work all around.
