This message was posted 8 years ago, however I was in need to get free from my anxiety ( finance ) and looking everywhere for relief but didn't find satisfactory answer. I was praying to God to talk to me give me peace. With this I opened CZcams channel and this is s the very first message I got. Praise God and thank God for communicating through this message. He rescheduled the message to answer me. Hallelujah!

I was just wondering this morning what the definition of prayer actually is. My instinct was that my quiet time with the Lord where I do talk to Him, am encouraged and receive gentle urgings in my spirit is prayer. I also saw the clear distinction of intercessory prayer. So, thanks be to God that He is always faithful and He gave me a confirmation as to the definition of prayer the SAME day that I asked. This link was just forefront when I signed into youtube. Amen. Praying about everything good and bad in my life helps me. Lately more than ever I cling to my prayer life and ask for Jesus to strengthen my faith. The spirit helps me to give thanks for these struggles which are thankfully only financial strife separating my husband and I as he tries so desperately to keep our small blue collar business from going under, we are struggling to pay all our finances both business and personally. We also are trying to sell as a solution, and I am trying to maintain our home a few hours away alone. Even though I try so desperately to honor the Father I am fighting depression and other selfish behaviors I am ashamed to admit. In saying this I know these a sins of my flesh I must keep battling. For I know The Father Son and Holy Spirit sustains us each day even when it still feels like we are so way under. All Glory to our Heavenly Father!! I am thankful for everything I am learning through scriptures, the Holy Spirit Jesus left with me to remind me not to constantly feel sorry for myself but to try hard instead to think of others, and wait on the Lord for this to pass. I am also thankful for these videos by Chuck Missler and all he has learned from his years of seeking the searching the scriptures and following our Savior Jesus Christ!

    • @katrinagrammer5861
      @katrinagrammer5861 Před rokem

@Blob Monster My prayers are working! The battles are still the same by being by myself while my husband works away so often; the choice to stay daily in Christ has also helped me take the opportunity to use this time to grow my relationship with actually knowing Christ and scripture daily; I have experienced boundless blessings throughout my days and am starting to recognize the warnings of the Holy Spirit if I am being self centered or falling into self pity, therefore I can change my complaint quite quickly into the true blessing it most likely is once I change my perspective on what ever I am sitting around doing nothing over but grumbling ( which is not what God
wants any of us to do with the day that He gives us!) Therefore I can say Thank you Holy Spirit! Thank you Jesus for giving me the Holy Spirit! All glory to our Heavenly Father!! Now let me get up and see how many Blessings I have that I
can start tending too! My house chores, then on to my job I am thankful to have in this day and time which I actually do from home! So Yes, yes, and Yes the Lord is working in my life!
But sometimes I forget and fall into the trap of Satan’s spiritual warfare of worry; but I am amazed at how quickly the Holy Spirit points it out, and ever so thankful! After a time like this I am always sorry when I did not have faith and trust in Jesus who gave His life for me, who accepted Him as my Savior, and gives me life eternal! But I know He knows I am human and will continue to fail, that is why He came to achieve what He did on the cross, so those who believe in Him can have eternal life, and walk in His ways. But I can still tell him I’m sorry and will try to do better by capturing my thoughts in my mind and living closer and closer to him by reading scripture, continuing in prayer and talking to Him throughout my day.

Grace, and Peace, to you and your loved ones. I'm sorry to hear that. The truth is, God knows your thoughts, and feelings, without you saying a word, and I don't think He's ignoring them. I've been, where you're at though. God changed my experiences, especially when He taught me to "think" differently, and, believe what the Word of God says. He's not ignoring your feelings, and thoughts. Maybe He's just trying to change them. He taught me to think about, what I'm thinking about, and change my thinking when it doesn't line up with the Word of God. He cares about, and for, every detail of your life. To prove this to me, He sent me meatballs for dinner one evening when I hadn't said anything about meatballs to anybody. I usually don't eat them. But, this one day, I was wanting some, and my daughter brought them home with her. I cried. He knew, and He sent them to me to let me know how much He loves us. And I learned, that it's thoughts that control feelings. Thoughts trump feelings. Let the mind of Christ be in you, and you'll find out how much He loves you, and your love for Him, and others, will grow, and grow, and grow. At least, that's been my experience. May we all grow in the knowledge of Him, amen. We are blessed, Praise God!!!!!!

The Kingdom of God is within and spread out on the earth. Even now. Look not outward but within. Yeshua was said to be often “in spirit” when relaying innermost truths. He spoke to the disciples and public in parables yet often more directly privately. I believe in the inner way and have asked God and Yeshua to guide me and protect me over 48 years since exploring meditative paths in my mid-twenties. I know Christian dogma would that I go to hell. However, I am loved by the Creator as are all. I don’t expect Christians to agree with me. Let us learn to love one another. In spirit Jeshua spoke the scripture John 14:6. I agree the only way is within. Yeshua is my first teacher. And I trust God completely, that He speaks to every heart, reveals Himself to every receptive heart. He and led me to other teachings compatible with my love for Divine Source communion. I don’t demand others accept me. It would be helpful to our great awakening if humanity set aside dogma and purified our hearts and minds, submitting our will (and ego) to God, a joyous, lifelong journey of unfolding and realization. Peace that passeth understanding , and compassion to all. ✨🙏 ( edited to correct scripture reference and spelling.)

The way to the Father is through Christ only.Hence we have to repent for our sins and come into the presence of the Father through the greatest sacrifice, the lamb of God who takes away our sins, our living saviour Yeshua.

There are many of you who have much to learn. I am not passing judgement. We are all at various stages of growth in our journey from salvation to becoming a mature trusting follower of God the Father through Christ Jesus. Once saved always saved. BUT you are required to repent of all sin. As you grow spiritually you will understand these things. The Holy spirit will not work in your life with unconfessed sin. We are given the Lord's prayer, not for repetition of the words but to understand every line. It also giving praise and thanks in every line in your own words. This is glorifying God, recognizing your sin, and activating the Holy Spirit in your life. Every line has meaning. It is also the activation of your armor. Not only must you humble yourself and repent but you must know God, Christ Jesus and the 7 parts of the operation of the Holy Spirit. This is only done through learning The WORD. Not memorizing verses, but learning who , how and what out amazing God is. And for those who do not recognise answered prayers. It is because you do not know HIM. You must ask( give us this day our daily bread) for correct information in all things. This is God's will. As you do these things you will learn> trust

Scripture has much to say about sin. These are just a few scriptures, but I find it interesting, particularly what is expected and commanded of God’s people who know truth. Scripture states if we know and love God, we will keep his commandments.
Matthew 6:14 - For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you
      James 5:16
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Hebrews 10:26 - For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins
      1 John Chapter 2
1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for [the sins of] the whole world.
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Purist form of prayer? I don't agree with the assumption that a purist form of prayer is prayer in tongues.
I think too many today in the emergent church make this the most important spiritual gift of all. Paul said the most important gift is Prophecy. Yet it should be used orderly, it edifies the church, and it most convinces outsiders.
The gifts are equally divided as there are ministries brother. Not everyone can pray in tongues, but we are of one body in Christ.

Jesus pleads for all of us no matter who, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, or els how could anyone be saved? We are not saved by our prayers, but Jesus' prayer. All of our prayers are given to us by Him and Him alone!! Don't be deceived. A little leaven ruins the whole lot. Don't be justified by many words. True peace comes from the One Word alone!

Give your life to Jesus Christ. Believe and Pray: *God, I know that I am a sinner and unless you save me I will be lost forever. I believe that Jesus Christ is the true Son of God, died on the cross for my sins and arose on the 3rd day. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, in the name of Jesus, Amen.*

The only problem with this, is 1 john 1:9 is speaking to unbelievers not Christians. Look at the previous verse 8.
