Wandering traders can be really helpful when in Ocean only or Skyblock worlds so the oak sapling's can be worth 5 emerald's after all
Yeah, also you can have infinite emeralds by just grinding zombies and trading rotten flesh to a cleric.
Or in super flat
Yeah, and with 1.17 and moss only being available through shipwrecks and wandering traders, they can be very useful
He gave me dripstone in ONEBLOCK where lava is limited
Also in minecraft peaceful
Your theory kind of makes sense, it explains why are wandering traders selling useless items rather than selling something useful. But there are some details I don’t agree with. For example, wandering traders are probably not making their potions, they are more likely buying them from witches or clerics. If they could make potions, why wouldn’t they sell them?
you gotta point there...this is really a good theory...
Maybe he used to sell them but the illagers used them for bad intent so he stopped selling them
I'm of the oppinion that nitwits are too dumb to even become wandering traders. Despite how useless some of their trades are they still fit with many of the other villagers useless trades, so I doubt the wandering trader is any less intelligent than your average villager, contrary to the nitwit who is officially stated as being the village idiot.
@@Gin-toki they r but still yk
Good point
to be honest that wandering trader from 2:55 is pretty good since he sells a nautilus shell for 5 emeralds which i can say is not too bad
the dark oak sapling for 5 emeralds is the worst trade ive ever seen
Dark oak is the best wood type so it’s worth every emerald
Then imagine it being regular oak or birch sappling instead, then it would be a way worse trade.
Or selling red sand in a mesa biome :P
@@Gin-toki they sell only items that aren't in the field that they spawnd
@@monkey6114 Nope, what they sell is random and not dependent on what biome they spawn in.

Sells dripleaf and custom heads
#WanderingTradersLivesMatter
I've heard this before, which is why I traded a huge number of emeralds for ussless stuff from a wandering trader. He got killed by a zombie that night though.
R.I.P Wandering trader
My theory is based on your theory
The dragon head can be found every end city because of 2 reasons
1. The ancient players wanted that enderman should not escape the end so they made dragon but some dragon were attacking the ancient players so they killed it and made new ones.
2. Ancient players wanted something to fly so they thought About dragon wings and they made few dragons and killed it
So they got the wings and head
And they kept both of in in same place
Dragon wings - elytra
Head
Are both found in end ship together always
game theory already did this lol
I had the entire script ready for an Ender Dragon theory video, but Game Theory beat me to it :(

@@josefa.9105
1. You're right I should've credited Game theory for the theory. I have made my own new original theory for the creeper in my latest video.
2. Me and RetroGamingNow's theory on endermen are a bit different. He thinks that the endermen were once an intelligent species, while I think that they were slaves of the ancient builders.
3. I put in asterisk at the bottom that some illagers kind of look like they have green eyes, but they're definitely not the same shade of green as the eyes of villagers. Wandering traders have they same shade of green.
My theory. is to tell others villages warning other villages
And the warn villges make iron golem.
And also get money on the way. Accidently find pet llama
I stopped killing Wandering Traders when I watched the Wanderous Journey vid, and they have good trades too like Nautilus Shells, Tropical Fish and the first Jungle Log in my world was also from a sapling from a Wandering Trader
nautilus shells are pretty easy to get and tropical fish is literally known to be the most useless food, personally i’d say blue ice or gunpowder is better. Also oxeye daisies are pretty good for suspicious stew since it gives regen.
Here is a theory u can do
Piglin trade pearl because it's a currency and when they trade they drop water bottle also
Does this mean they are ancient players who came to nether and evolved into piglin and they give the remaining water bottles to us for gold
Or are they pigs who had water bottle with them
Or are they ancient players who merged with pigs and evoled
Now THAT was a long sentence!
(Grammar please...)
Actually they can trade with wiches, they go around the world and take items to give them to whiches to make potions.
Ok boomer
@@Smileyfacemanguy shut up eveyone here is theorizing.
That's a good theory. I think they do trade with witches but they also got items to trade with players. That's probably why you can't buy much of the same thing from one wandering trader and it will "run out of stock". He probably wants to save some to trade with witches.
Wandering Traders being Nitwits actually sounds pretty cool. It gives them some sort of character development in some weird way

I've never killed a "what the" either!
Fun fact: the blue villager leaked at the image of Steve riding a horse while behind it with the nitwit and a iron golem, so I thought thats a old texture for wandering trader.
I feel pity for them,my best friend in my 3 years survival world is a nitwit lol
Me:I see a trader. Also me:enchants my sword .wandering trader:wanna trade? The trade:16 emerelds for un ded bush.Me:get out my new sword.wandering trader:men I’m ded
Wandering traders' lives do matter, the best trade they had is a Sunflower for only 1 emerald
I have to say I prefer not to harm villagers by choice, not just because attacking individuals wrecks trades. That sentiment extends to wandering traders, who while technically not villagers, are also just as harmless. I kinda like them, and more than once they've felt like company while I was doing other things. Plus, for those who insist on the leads, llamas have a weird habit of fighting from time to time and drop them without any need for the trader to come to harm. The idea of installing mods to improve the traders, is cool too.
(What if a successful trader manages to trade into a supply of finished goods and equipment? He wouldn't need a head for crafts to buy a sword at a good price and sell to the player at a profit.)
And an Ice for a Emerald is also good because silk touch is hard to get it’s worth more than an emerald if wandering traders did not desapwn it would be better
We respect the nitwits in our village
And we have found a way to turn the nitwits into villagers with jobs
But now knowing this information with the wandering trader/nitwits…
We’ve shut down all experiments with it
"nitwit" actually means "stupid and brainless person" in real life, man, Minecraft has lots of secret things I haven't found out yet
8:17 "both 2 mobs had live by themselves"
Witch: Here kitty kitty!
Wandering trader: *in his mind* Why do I have these 2 llamas?
I have been thinking this for so long but no one has covered it, thank you
If this doesn't make Mumbo stop killing Wandering Traders, I don't know what will.
he has lamas to protect him from players by spitting
well the nitwit or the green villager is actually the guard for night and the golem their purpose is to tell
the golem to kill the enemies
Dragonic spins absurd stories but this one I really liked and i think is plausible
Nice vid hope u never stop CZcams
Probably they are a unknown guild of traders that once allied with the ancient builders
The only trades I want from wandering traders are the bamboo and he jungle saplings because I'm too lazy to search for a jungle
The good thing is jungle saplings can be traded from wandering traders. The bad thing bamboo cannot be traded from them.
wandering trader skin is one of the nicest skins ever
Wandering Trader's trades are actually helpful!
I can't find any slimes in my world and a wandering trader trades alikes for only a few emeralds USEFUL cause I also want sticky Pistons and slime blocks
He also trades bamboo! Useful to make scaffolding
Also trades Glowstone, Useful for Potions and make Potions Stronger and more OP
And Wandering Traders trade some hard to obtain blocks that you don't feel like going on an adventure to get em
You're right but most of their trades are useless, some of them can be traded by normal villagers.
@@torchybeacon245 yeah
Time to build a wandering trader lead farm!
You have actually changes my opinion on Wandering Traders. I used to have no pitty on them. But now I just feel bad
The Wandering Trader could use the llamas to protect him with spit.
I love ur vids
A while ago, I tried to set up a villager/potato farm but accidentally brought a nitwit as one of my first two villagers. This was before I even knew about nitwits, so I just assumed that there was some flaw with my setup that stopped him from getting a job. After hours of pain for both me and him I eventually figure out that he was literally just disabled, just born incapable of working. My guilt was indescribable.
I decided he would be given his own little cottage on his own little island a few hundred blocks away from the farm, both as a way to let him live in peace and to free up a bit of space for another farmer. I stick him in the boat, take him to the island... and a zombie zombifies him.
I hid him under a little dirt alcove and used a name tag on him to ensure he wouldn't despawn, my mission to cure him at some point and give him the life he most certainly deserved.
I deleted the world a couple months ago and have only now remembered that I never cured him.
Rest in peace, Bippy. He at least had a good reason not to do his job, whereas I simply failed him.
Best minecraft lore channel
Oh yeah noice theory man
You can instead kill his lama for those leads.
your all alone by yourself. the nitwit with two lamas: are you sure about that?
When Mojang and Element Animation collabed to make a 1.14 trailer, they showed nitwits purposely trampling crops, so they probably don't want us to think that they're "depressed". Also, witches participate in raids and provide illagers with potion effects, so wandering traders would probably try to avoid them, along with illagers. Villagers definitely already have experience in potion brewing, clerics use brewing stands as workstations and fletchers sell tipped arrows.
I love your vids
0:38 that cat just be walking on by
We see 5 Villager Cultures in game, Plains, Desert, Savana, Taiga & Snowy. We also see 2 possible ones that aren't natural Jungle & Swamp as well as the Wandering trader & Witch. we then see 4 Illiger cultures Vindicator, Evoker, Pillager & the unused Illusioner. Each of these groups looks different but we can assume 2 species exist the Testificate Villager & Testificate Illager. For the villager we have a sub-species for the Witch which is almost identical to the normal villager bar the wart on the nose. The villagers & Illagers are the only mobs in Minecraft which have developed distinct cultures in different areas & likely religions (due to the clerk in the Villages & the Evoker in the Illager society) all other intelligent life post ancient builder has had no culture of their own with the Piglin having a uniform culture which values gold & Netherite religiously & the Endermen who seem to have no real culture that we can observe. The Wither Skeletons also seem to retain some of their past culture because we only find them in the Nether fortress which they likely built before they where corrupted.
dang I never noticed they had green shirts

I never kill the wandering traders. if I need the leads, I just kill the llamas.
4:07 they have green eyes. Just the vindicator doesn't have green eyes.
After watching this video, I now want to trade with wandering traders every time even if they give me a flower for 3 emeralds.
Good theory.
Wandering Traders are amazing if they sell podzel and some other things and I also really like Villagers and especially the Nitwits.
One of my favourite jobs in the Village is the farmer because of all the different coloured crops.
Wandering trader is a villager because of [What a Deal!] advancement which means "Trade with a Villager"
I learn more from you than school
An oak sapling for 5 emeralds is good if you are doing a challenge were you can’t get trees.
Wandering Traders Life Matters
Tbh he's slime ball trades are kinda decent in my opinion cuz u can make leads from it and instead of bringing him death for leads
Dragonic:Pls think twice before u kill them.
Me:I think 100 times and I still kill them
Sometimes I don’t kill Wandering traders there is a rare chance that Wandering traders have good trade like Emerald for gunpowder because gunpowder is hard to get
I trade with the wandering Trader very frequently, anytime he's selling slime balls I buy all of them. that's how I got my first watermelon seeds in my current world and how I got Mangrove tree saplings. I'm sure there's other things I buy from him too I check him every time I see him but I always kill him immediately after I buy everything he has that I want so that another one will spawn with fresh supplies. I always keep a stack of emeralds on my character just in case he spawns while I'm out
Hey the seed in the background is my fort village world I use that’s cool
After watching this, you will never want to kill a wandering trader ever again #WanderingTraderLivesMatter
Just use a boat on the llamas and they will drop their leads. No killing is required lol
always be kind to villagers even nitwits and wandering traders In Minecraft
Will you ever do the dragon theory even though game theory did one 🤔?
Well that's a nice way of asking him to plagiarize a specific video,
isn't it?
I just trade with wandering trader for a pet fish in a bucket
Actually he trade can be good for exemple 6 emeralds for a blue ice is a win
Wandering trader is useful to me, for leads, slime, and tropical fi- wait... where did he get the buckets for the tropical fish...
Well he might have bought the lamas for protection since they spit on anybody who attacked them
Awesome
he might have a robe because he lives in the snow igloo training his potion skills as there is a brewing stand and in the cells, there are one normal villager and a zombie villager maybe his parents were bitten by a zombie that's why he's a nitwit a homeless person his parents couldn't teach him to get a job.
I'm sorry but XD 5:50
The lama in the background XD
awesome
To protect himself he used potion of invisibility I saw him invisible with his lamas
So what?
@@josefa.9105 so dragonic is correct that the nitwit met witch in his journey
What if they are the spies of the village. Illagers have separated the different villages from one another so the villagers have sent out spies (the wandering traders) to find safe routes to other villages. The fact is they couldn't have gone out by themselves. They sell corall blocks and ice which can only be mined with silktouch pickaxes so they had to have some help.
“A better future”
*100 million years later and people are killing wandering traders*
In 1.19 they are pretty useful if u want to get mangrove trees but can’t find a mangrove swamp cuz they sell mangrove propagules
Actually i used relied on the trader to get jungle saplings because i did not found a jungle so they do not always have bad trades.
I think more like during a raid they ran away/forced out of the village as it was shortly thereafter abandoned and the rest goes the same as you’re story
Always be respectful for what wandering traders what they have some to offer in Minecraft.
You can only get podzol with silk touch idk how he got silk touch
i like the wandering trader some of his trades i likelike if i want a jungle tree and wood but i cant find a jungle
Nitwit villager : T_T I got bullied cuz im a nitwit
Nitwit when became wandering trader : I regret this I got bullied more
#WanderingTraderLivesMatter
Even they're trade are bad I can have friends in my home Minecraft and the two llamas
Maybe they have llamas because wandering traders are kinda scared of wolfs and wolfs are scared of wolfs
The witch had a green shirt-
"vIdeO gAmeS aRE VoiLeNT"
Me removing the leads from a wandering trader without killing him or his lammas:
My theory is that the wandering traders keep llamas to protect them from the zombies and skeletons as the llamas spit damage mobs
Why not we do the coral block for the build challenge hehe
