At 0:33 is that a penguin I can hear? And I love it when Brian's saying "If you want to sing along with this and jump up please do" And you just hear Roger go "SING ALONG!" Classic Queen!
Love this song! Although Freddie is by far the greatest singer of all time - i think Brian sings this song much better - not that Freddie doesnt sound great here because he really does - but Brian's got a more folksy voice that fits the mood of this song. Freddie's voice is just to grand for folky type music! Oh and Roger your adorable
Jubilee year. I was there at Earl's Court, twice that week. The underground platform crammed with hundreds of fans after the show. One voice began singing "We Are The Champions", the whole underground station joined in. Magical evening.
This is by far my FAVORITE song of Queen's, although I have loved Queen since they began. I never much paid attention to this song until (ugh- gonna show my age here) 1976 (or maybe '77) when I saw them in concert. Absolutely wonderful concert!
It's really interesting that the plot to the movie 'Interstellar' follows the story of the song almost directly. Does anyone know if Brian has ever talked about the movie in relation to the song?
it´s incredible when u saw to roger and brian , how young where on that time and now how wize they look. I would like to see Freddie now and say the same thing as with john
One of the high points on the 1975 masterpiece album "A Night at the Opera". What do you guys think about the rest of the album. I think the album's title suits it well...it's not a straightforward hard rock album, it really sounds like an opera!
This was the first QUEEN song I heard: I fell in love with the band and with Freddie Mercury!... (BRASIL)
No, it was only the angle of the camera that makes it appear Freddie was hit. Also, Roger didn't miss a beat had he hit Freddie. His playing was consistant there.but you could tell by him smiling towards Brian that he was goofing on himself because he couldn't hit those high notes.
I love how enthusiastically Roger yells Sing Along!
"Sing Along!!!" LOVE YOU ROGER
Roger's backing vocals are second to none. In fact he has a great voice.
Roger is one of my favourite singers!

Roger's falsetto voice, is amazing
I love the bass line and this song!
Go Deaky!
John Deacon never missed a bit EVER! I don't know if there are a lot of bass players out there who can claim that!
Simply put... 4 absolute geniuses
!
Great bassline from john.

Wow! John's bass on here is one of the best ever !
I love how at the end Freddie goes in for an 'alright' but Roger shouts 'woo' s they've got 'alwoo!'
I love John's outfit and hair!

Brian's a machine with the 12-string

Queen Live is Great!
This was the first QUEEN song I heard: I fell in love with the band and with Freddie Mercury!... (BRASIL)
This might very well be one of my favorite clips of them performing live.
beautiful! This song seems to have been written to be played live!
Brian sang on the record but I heard Freddie always sang the song in concert
I love the whole song and from this version the final bass notes from John at 4:38 really amaze me!
💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
My favourite Brian song, "very sweet and soft" to
quote the curly one!
2:18 - 2:34 definitely my favorite part!
Ótimo video !
I Love The Riff At 0:43!
por siempre queen en este pechito
La versión de Freddy me gusta mucho. Forever.
Thank you. I saw this tour. You know you can run this through an EQ and reduce the bass
Well.. Sht all over my delicate senseibilities. John was playing a maple board bass.
That man did it all.
Great!!!
cool, thanks for upload
Aku jatuh cinta dengan grup musik Queen.
Freddie's tights here are pretty good, but his yellow jacket is still his best outfit
Wonderful. iluv brians clothing here.. and ofc ... freddies (:
and we love Brian big hair . !!!
Freddie mercury and Brian may can both perform this Queen classic
i have to say something... is SO important to me...
Roger, you are hot
2:26 , aaah :)
i know u guys love brian sing this song, but u already have it at album version..its nice to hear freddie sing it :)
Awal yg baik dan akhirnya menjadi legenda.
@killdoser123 It was also the 39th song Queen released.
@fandazz1 How lucky you are ! Beautiful memories I guess :)
i totally agree cuz freddie's not brian and brian wrote it for him to sing not freddie so
but i wanna hear roger singing it
@Maddon54 well, that was when Star Wars had just come out...lol

@MrMercuryKingOfQueen ...... I think it was Keith Moon at :33 actually !! LOL :)
@nannbells I love him, too ;)
Freddy should have taken a back seat to this one. Brian has a beautiful voice that fits his song so perfectly.
@SgtPepperJohnPaul300 Brian did sing it on the album
I love this song! Crikey though, whatever is Freddy wearing!
1:16 - 1:34 --*sigh* :-) Anyway, enough fangirling around...this is my favorite song of all time. Absolutely love it!
I,v been there... 20 years late. I,ve seen Roger Waters... so.. no baD :)
roger 2:32 is awesome
I really wish Brian had sung this live instead of Freddie.
This is one of the few songs on which he sounds better...
@gicigarini Ya big baby!
2:34
YAH
Haha Roger! "SING ALONG." 0:38 lol Roger always make you laugh
Did Brian ever sing lead in concert, or was it only Freddie?
