GuaranĂĄ is a fruit from the Amazon forest which has more caffeine than coffee itself. We love to drink it in Brazil (even as a pop). The fruit looks like an eye.
I am from Brazil and never had the opportunity to eat guarana, sad :(
I guess it is more common in the north of Brazil
That last sentence had me laughing haha. Shout out to Brazil. Guarana helped me a lot in law school and fueled some good morning workouts for me.
We have Guarana in our energy drinks here in NZ and it is delicious
I tried the Vietnamese egg coffee some years back at Cafe Giang, opened by the original inventor of the drink (the store is now run by the inventorâs grandchildren). The egg yolk was used as a substitute for foamed milk due to a shortage in the 40s. Itâs pretty interesting, but way too sweet for me, nothing beats a medium roast pour over, straight black.

You havent had a burger until you have a coffee burger lol ingredients below ;)
Step 1: Minced beef 70:30
Step 2: Minced chicken
Step 3: Instant coffee (vanilla bean or hazelnut work best)
Step 4: Mix everything together (and add liquid smoke - optional but worth it)
Step 5: form a burger patty
Step 6: rub light roast freshly ground coffee on the patty and pop it in the fridge for 4 hrs
Step 7: make your classic brioche buns except when making it, pop 1 sachet of instant coffee
Step 8: once the buns are done, fry the patty
Step 9: form the burger as you would any other (American cheese, tomatoes, onions etc...)
Step 10: make yourself a 5 shot espresso with condensed milk and enjoy your caffeine heaven
(make sure its a 10oz burger patty)

Mixing coffee into the mince seems pretty gross ngl but as a coffee dry rub (like on steaks) plus actually smoking it instead of putting liquid smoke into the mix (liquid smoke is hella too powerful) this could work.

As a Vietnamese subscriber, I would love to see you vlogging on a trip to vietnam. The cuisine is definitely amazing and also apart from egg coffee, we also have some creative drinks with coffee like coffee with coconut milk or beer coffee.
Coffee bagels. You add a flavor you want in your dough and mix it in and make it how you want. Pumpkin spice coffee bagels are the best so far. Perfect season to make them again too.

Fun history fact about egg coffee: it traces back to the French war when they were no milk almost in Vietnam, they decided to try with condensed milk and egg yolk instead wich created the super creamy marshmallow like egg coffee!
