Growing up in the late sixties in junior high, the parents of a friend of mine had this '68. What I remember from riding in it was not only the silence but the feeling of being in a fortress with those ultra-thick doors and the ledge outside the windows. Just a fantastic car.
Gorgeous car. I recently realized that I missed having an old car, 60s vintage, Yes parts are expensive and they can be finicky at times, but rolling down the road in a 50 + yr old classic land yacht is fun and enjoyable! 69 Eldorado for me. Hopefully you get another one for some more smiles
In order for this car to have the footwell speakers it would have to have the FM multiplex adapter or an 8 track tape player. The stereo feature was not incorporated into the radio.
