- We recently bought our dream home and the journey testifies of the beautiful goodness and faithfulness of our God (we'll share the story with you soon). We wanted to journal the process of bringing this house back to life, as this home not just for the benefit and gain of our family, but for so much more.
What better way to start this journey than taking you on an empty tour of the house, before we move in, and before we change anything. It's wise to take note of the past so we may have a refined perspective and appreciation for the present and the future.

This is so interesting to see homes in other countries. There are a lot of similarities to US homes and some differences. Your doorknobs are much higher than ours. The tile in the bathrooms looks different than ours. What a beautiful home! A lot of work but so much fun to put your stamp on it.

A Braai room is a space dedicated to hanging out together around the fire. A braai is equivalent to a fire pit or barbecue, but we cook on a wood fire 😁 hope that makes sense
