- Join us in this episode as I take time to explain my thoughts around the kitchen layout. We also decided to take on the task of sanding down the stairs while everything is dirty and dusty, then one of the most exciting things was that we found the original floors under the carpets upstairs, and they were in a fantastic condition!
May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favour and give you his peace. Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)

Thank you so much!!
Love watching the details you put into your home 🏡
I’m so glad you’re enjoying it 😁
Wow that is one organised kitchen , never even thought about working were everything would go in my kitchen it was enough working units out 🤦♀️ , Gona be an amazing kitchen ❤
Thank you for watching with us! I spent a lot of time thinking about the kitchen, because flow and layout makes a huge difference when it comes to functionality. Hope this helps with planning your kitchen 🌸
You could probably do a pickled stain. One sure way is to bleach the wood with oxalic acid. Furniture restorers use it frequently. I just noticed I was a few weeks behind on your updates and I’m catching up this morning. I squealed when I saw these floors under the carpets!!!
Ah thanks for the tip and thanks for following along! 😁
I know water based sealers don’t yellow over time like oil based do. But pine is naturally a yellow wood so if you want to keep that white look, you might need to do a pickling stain and then seal them. But definitely ask your builders cause they’ll know more than me 😂
You’re so kind!! Thank you 😁
I did a tester of a water based sealer that looks like milk - the floor looks really good. I’ll still share on future episodes 😁
@@houseofdalton can’t wait to see!!
