It's like BuzzFeed, but down under. We're a bit cooked, not afraid to get deep and sometimes we'll make you crack up. New videos every week!
I feel like Ryan is the only one who truly rates his opinion. Everyone else wants to downplay it so they end up on top, afraid to hand out a 10 when you can see they love it. "Too much food, 9" seriously?
I thought the same thing when she said that !
Ryan’s so nice and cooks well too 👌
I agree 💯
@@stephaniewise1872 I seen another episode with her on there lol I can sense hateration lol smfh
I agree.
I love how all the chefs are respectful to each other, but the moms, dads, and grandparents just ruthless to each other 😆
probably bc they are baseline good since they are actual chefs
@@tahminhassan9115 why do you suppose the non chefs are so ruthless? Bc they don't have the credentials on paper or....??
@@duhhjoaquindead121 cause sometimes they serve up inedible shit
right they’ll literally spit it out just because it’s not theirs
@@HelloBruh-jt2ju , lmao I'm sure that's partly it
Did she really reduce the score of the Scottish eggs because she was given two eggs after saying there wasn’t anything wrong with it? Who looks at delicious leftovers like a flaw? Would’ve been better saying it needed more feta.🤣 Otherwise it looks like an arbitrary reduction of a perfect meal so it scores less.
And last time she ate a pizza she scored it low because there wasn’t enough food. She’s a joke
@@Bedoyyk55 Or just her opinion. Not that serious, chill.
she gave it a 9 tho
@@kavithasingaravel9135 though*
@@noneya1238 nahh she doesn’t want to give people their full credit cause she wants to win. Her excuses for rating them low is not even valid
I love when chefs give credit where it’s due instead of being over critical about everyone else’s dish. That’s what I like about this episode
Glad you enjoyed it Simien 😊
One of thee chef gave s 9 instead of 10 because of too much food presented
@@maiamiimaiam4343 she said no complaints then gave it a 9. Then had to come up with an excuse of why it wasn’t a 10. I thought that was weird .
Swears
@@maiamiimaiam4343thats not really hating. A ton of people hate having too much food. A 9 isnt even a bad score
Just want to add one historical fact - Scotch Eggs were inspired by an Indian Dish called Narghisi Kofta. British Soldiers loved Narghisi Kofta which was cooked in Royal Kitchen of Nawab Sirajuddaula. When they went to England they made scotch eggs with the same technique but couldn't make the sauce that is used in creating the kofta.
oo thank you for the information, I love scotch eggs hadn't made them in awhile..
There is no evidence to suggest this is the case. The opposite could actually be true in fact
That's some great information
@@callistalyre I like your name. Sri Lankan?
@@AS-jo8qh No, I'm Indonesian
These meals were absolutely DIVINE!
Haha I am deleting that word from my vocabulary!
@@tanikadouglas_ lol please dont
@@tanikadouglas_ please don't ❤️ your positivity gives you that extra edge and your dish looked wonderful 😍
Lol I like how Ismat was like “I cant find any flaws in this, its flawless wow” (not her exact words ik) and then she gave a 9 and the person behind the camera called her out too, “So…. So it has a flaw??? Cuz u didnt give it a 10?” (Again not exact words) and she was like “…. i mean well… its too big a portion..” BRUH 🤣🤣
Please make a rule that chiefs can’t score lower for things like portion size. It’s ridiculous that a dish can be made perfectly but still get points off because it’s “too much” of a perfect dish. That was really annoying and felt like a desperate bid to try to lower the score.
Knock down the Scotch egg because there is too much food? Not a good reason, in my opinion.
Those eggs looked good.
Thanks very much 😊
@123 123 LMFAOOOOO💀
9 is good, tho
I wouldn't want to give 10 tho😂9 is great nothing's perfect 😌
Yeah that didn’t make sense to me
Dude just made a shakshuka with black beans and called it huevos rancheros?
If a war breaks between Australia and Mexico, you'll know why 😏😏😏
Shakshuka isnt even Australian?
@@lilrxdtube it's Moroccan and also common in the middle east.
It’s not morrocan it’s North African Algerians and tunisians do it as well.
@@Ora-DR it's North African buddy not Moroccan
To yall who missed the joke: this aussie boi is making shakshuka and calling it Mexican food. I'm ready to kidnap him and sell him for ransom
As a nexican, we do not approve those hevos rancheros. 😂 my jaw dropped.
On another note, I really want to try scotch eggs now.
girl, same
i was like what tf is this 🤣 this is NOT MEXICAN .
YEAH when i saw that he was making huevos rancheros i got super scared and my fears came to life the moment he started cooking 😭😭😭 we don't take those...
Same, it was missing some heavy heat plus we don’t use coriander we use cilantro -.- but I’d like the try the Japanese egg version dish.
@@Pineapplelesspineapplepizza they call cilantro coriander in Australia. It’s the same plant.
as a mexican who eats huevos rancheros almost everyday, im offended and so would be my mother.

I thought Ryan's dish looked amazing. I've never seen that before. I almost want to try to make it. They all looked good though the huevos rancheros ... where's the spice or the salsa? I probably would still enjoy that one.
They weren't huevos rancheros was the real problem lol
I normally cook my eggs into my rice, but i would definitely try this dish. I love Asian-inspired flavors and i love rice and light dishes. Definitely keeping this one for when my braces come off. At the present I terrified of eating most things. Lol. I guess that is why i spend so much time watching food programs and people eat. 😁
Onsen eggs on rice, that shit slaps. But I prefer it as a topping to accent a rice and protein dish. Any japanese "Don" restaurant would probably have it on their menu, hope you end up trying it, it's really good! I like it on top of a Gyudon~
@@dxtura I just watched this again yesterday. I am definitely going to try it some day. It just looks amazing.
Yeah he could’ve done that better
I heard Australia didn't really have real Mexican food but calling a simplified a shakshuka huevos rancheros is quite the stretch... but also, that Pakistani shakshuka looks like the perfect mix of rajma and eggs and I really want to make it!
Yeah... are we sure that was a chef?
The first dish reminds me of a bougie version of what my Korean parents made me.
We fry the egg, so the yolk is still runny, place it over a rice bowl, add some soy sauce sesame oil, and eat it with kimchi.
Uh that combo with the crisp and spice of kimchi..
The scotch egg was beautiful. I am glad she shared that recipe. I loved seeing all their dishes and they are respectful to one another. Fabulous.
If zeta was a part of this video, then she would have probably airfried the egg
With some hash browns on the side.
I would love it if in one of these episodes, Zeta would come in as a "prank" and serve an air fried version of whatever they're cooking. It would be so funny to see them review it thinking it may be an actual submission and to see their reaction! 🤣(More funny if the food is gross when air fried)
Tanika is as beautiful as her food, such a wonderful chef and a person. Humble, talented and sweet. 💕
Ryan is my favorite, he’s fair to all ❤️
Those huevos rancheros are an insult to the Mexican community 😅 I nearly had a heart attack
I was just going to comment. Those are not real Mexican huevos rancheros 😢 where is the spice?! also beans?!?!
They’re just how he wants to eat them. This isn’t a Mexican cooking channel. I’m sure if you made a western dish, you’d add spice to your own taste.
@@redeye1016 Oh don’t be so sensitive! I know he’s making it his own way but traditionally it isn’t made like that. He referred to it as Mexican and that’s a Taco Bell version of huevos rancheros lol
@@Enc7of9 you're the one who seems to be coming off sensitive. They were just stating that he was clearly putting his own spin on it.
@@sheenahewitt044 it's okay for him to be sensitive about his culture. huevos rancheros are a huge dish in Mexican culture and it's valid that he was slightly offended because it wasn't made properly. this causes misrepresentation of the culture, even if it's as simple as a dish being labeled something it's really not.
Fault for too much food? She could've given a 10 and framed the extra egg like she said she wanted to..
I would gladly order any of them at a restaurant, but I would marry into a family for Ismat’s dish
I absolutely love how much respect they have for each other, they really appreciate each other’s food
Tanika always takes an extra step for her dishes. I think most of her dishes look a little bit more sophisticated than others.
one of the strongest all around videos. All of them could've won on a different day. Scotch eggs are always a winner though
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Not the guy with that sorry excuse of that mexican dish
They all looked delicious! Definitely NEED Tanikas recipe 💕😩
Thankyou 😊 I will post it in the comments for you all!
Im sorry but i just wanna point out the fact that they all are so nice to each other 🥰 like fr i dont know if its because they all are chefs but dishes looked so good and they all were so supportive! Usually in this kind of videos there is always one ass-hole lol here thats just perfect, i stan this kind of content keep it up!!
Glad you loved it! 😊
I'd happily eat all of these
That picky chef who was complaining about everyones food used rinsed black beans
and canned tomato and legit no seasoning
they are all so positive i love that for them
Tip for Onsen tamago, use a cast iron pot. Cast iron keeps the temperature very consistent, with a regular pot temperature varies a lot hence why some eggs are cooked and some are way under
I use a cooler for mine.
I love the respect they have for each other's dish. It's not like the comps we have here in Canada/ America, where they all hate on one anothers. Great job on all recipes! I'm excited to sample some of these..!
Gotta love Ryan. So enthusiastic and I would love to try his dish!
I love how excited they were for everyone’s food🙂
12:36 you know it's REALLY good when a girl is dancing when she's eating
Haha 😊
Yet she only gave it an 8/10 instead of 10/10 or 9/10
This was the nicest rating challenge and I'm impressed. That was refreshing
All of these are pretty impressive I must say ! But the first is probably my favorite and looks amazing
I just really enjoy watching this good feeling competition!! They all look so Yum!!
Thanks Sarah 😊
They all Looked delicious! Ryans was my favorite cause I make rice and eggs all the the time. But Ismat's looked sooooo good lol

i thought shakshuka was egyptian cuz my grandpa makes it but i guess there is a mix between the middle east and the desi area there are a lot of food similarities
This was a hard one to judge for me.Ryan had me at runny eggs, but I think Ismat should have won. They all looked great because I love 🥚
They all looked good but I'd definitely have Ismat or Tanika's dish myself
props to ismat for representing the pakistani version of a shakshuka! we love to see it
The scotch egg reaction made me laugh out loud for the first time today.
As always I loved THIS episode 💯😍😍 I would love to see you do an oxtail episode ‼️
Happy new year 🥳🥳
Love all these dishes!!
In my country we call "Scotch Eggs" an "Eggball" and it's made with cassava instead of chick pea. We pound the cassava until it's soft, season it and then fold it over the egg coat it with flour then deep fry🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾🇬🇾
So interesting!

Thank you so very much .. I will take these recipes and experiment!
“Someone made this for me!!” LOL
they are super nice and respectful, but i just KNOW they gave the second eggs "9's" bc they were scared of competition, that shit was a 11/10
Someone needs send Ismat a memo about her rating scale or something imo
Eggs are a staple in my daily meals so I'm curious about these dishes, and I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised 😊
not NOT huevos rancheros, it’s a version of shakshuka at best, or eggs in purgatory
I've never heard of huevos rancheros with no spice or salt.
Even eggs in purgatory have spice 🤦♀️

I would LOVE to try those veggie scotch eggs! 😍
10:03 From houston, texas: I don’t know about the “huevos rancheros.” The dish is a literal rancher’s eggs, meant for a second breakfast, after having worked very early. It gained notoriety in San Antonio, texas, and my maternal line has been here for 176 years, so I feel safe sharing that what you have made is a Mexican Eggs in Purgatory/Shakshuka type thing. It looks delicious, but it is not Huevos Rancheros. Huevos Rancheros is eaten with a fork, and it has a base of tortilla (usually corn tortillas), then a fried egg (normally sunny side up), and is all then covered with a stewed salsa (ranchero sauce). Served with refried beans, and condiments of choice.
You are all such lovely people! I truly enjoy your content. Thank you.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💐💐💐💐💐🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻💋💋🇺🇸🌸

I'd love to see more vegan foods made and tried. I've dozens of food allergies and health issues that do not allow me to eat pork or beef, I cannot digest it. I cannot have tomatoes which cuts me out of sooooo many foods because it's all made with a tomato sauce AND I'm allergic to milk. I'm more allergic to things than things I'm not allergic too. Though, I CAN have tree nuts, just not peanuts. Any suggestions are very helpful. I would love to put more flavor and ideas into my daily menu. Oatmeal gets old quick and so does rice when their plain. How can I change up spinach? I watch your videos religiously!
Can you eat legumes like hummus, baked goods using chick pea flour, bean purees, bean soups?
What about avocados? They can be eaten lots of different ways.
I struggle with food intolerance, especially digesting meat and carbohydrates, and look to fatty protein rich veggies and nut butters.
Hey. If you like spinach my mum makes mash but with white potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots and a loaf of spinach. We also make a spinach and chickpea curry but it is tomatoe based so you could find another curry base and include spinach chickpeas or lentils and potatoes.
If you like curry you can try make a massaman curry and put a lot of veg into it :)
There are loads of vegan cooking channels on CZcams. Literally - thousands. Look them up and I’m sure you can have your questions answered.
Spinach and chickpea! My favourite, I don’t eat dairy so I have lots of alternatives. Feel free to ask any questions
