The Home Free rabbit hole is one you wouldn't regret going down. All of us Home Fries welcome you to the journey.
I was just getting ready to say that he needs to go down their rabbit hole. Love Home Free
Home Free is the REAL DEAL....and Austin done brought it. This was filmed during covid lockdown, so the reason for them all being apart....they did so many of these videos they even put out an album called 'the many sounds of Lockdown". They did their collab with Don McLean on his iconic song "American Pie" during the lockdown. That is one special video. They also did an amazing mashup of Sea Shanties during the Tik Tok Sea Shanty phase they wen through....that has like 28 million views ! Yes they lean country, but they sing all genre's....their cover of Boyz2Men "End of the Road" is a GREAT ONE....then just yesterday they released their newest video. "So Long Dixie" which is an original from the pen of Austin Brown, Tim Foust (band members) and their friend Chris Chatham...it's just too too pretty, and visually stunning
If this is your first experience with Home Free you are in for a treat. They give a master class In acapela on every song they release.
And that beat boxer is so good you don’t even think there are no instruments. Love this group and your reaction. Thanks
Think was done during covid shut down so screens
Home Free is the best acapella band out there. Great reaction ❤️ Subscribed for more Home Free 🤘🤠🤘 HAPPY ANNIVERSARY 😊
HomeFree fans are called Homefries ❣️❣️🔥 dive in, you'll love all the catalog
Man you just stumbled upon the best a capella group out there they are true professionals and masters of the harmonies and this doesn't come from just the fans other members from different a capella groups have noted Home Frees skills. Great reaction brother have a great day
Thank you so much for the Home Free reaction, it is so appreciated! These guys are amazing, I have never not been blown away by anything they have done, and it is extensive! The lead singer, Austin Brown has incredible solo music as well. You should check out Bring Him Home and Unchained Melody by him. I subscribe for Home Free, so thanks again!🤗❤️
Home Free is amazing! This lead was by Austin Brown, the high tenor, but the group does not have a lead singer. Sometimes there is one member who leads. Other times each member gets a verse or some variation like that. They have produced over 150 videos and there is not a bad song among them. To get a taste of the group together listen to Man of Constant Sorrow, End of the Road, Ring of Fire and Helplessly Hoping.
Once you've listened to Home Free, you just want more. They are so talented. They have Adam Rupp, in my opinion the best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/vocal artist in the world. Unmatchable. Furthermore, they all have great but different voices with their own specialty. There is no permanent lead singer. They see which voice fits which song. Like here Austin Brown.
Austin nailed it. He gives himself completely here and also plays very well with the cameras. The great harmonies, deep bass and the unbelievably freaking good beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds finish it all off for me. I think it sounds perfect because of all the different beautiful voices. I grew up performing Percy Sledge which I already loved. Then came Michael Bolton's performance where I couldn't say for sure if it was better or not. But this one from Home Free certainly is.
Your Home Free tour will not disappoint. Maybe more shocked. They are so pure with such great personalities that you can hear in the songs. The covers but also the originals. They can sing absolutely anything. With other groups I often finish listening or watching after 2 songs. Too much show and stuff. But I can really listen to Home Free all the time without getting tired of them.
Welcome to Home Free. I have seen them in concert 5 times. They are just as great live
When you were asking about head voice - nope that was STILL Austin's chest voice. Even after the key change...some mix in there, but no pure head voice until the end high notes
Welcome to the worlds best a cappella band imho. The identify as a country group they sing all genres: R&B, Soul, Rock, Country, Inspirational, Gospel, Christmas and comedic/funny songs. They have over 200 videos on CZcams and try to put at 2 new song a month. Their last SO LONG DIXIE an Home Free original came out yesterday. Other commenters have listed some great songs to get you started on your Home Free journey to becoming a Home Fry (Home Free Fan).Happy Anniversary and you and your wife have a blessed day.
Love that song; hate, hate, hate the fade out at the end! Austin was singing to his girlfriend (now his wife) who was behind the camera. She was the only one in the studio as they recorded this during the pandemic. Love the production, and of course, Austin crushed it so much you forget how good the rest of the band are singing the background! Check out Austin singing Bring Him Home, but be sure and have tissues handy! It's powerful, and emotional, and you will not believe the ending! Also check out Home Free singing Brothers in Arms (originally by Dire Straits).
You will never be disappointed with this Group .They can be serious or so funny Plea do more Home Free I don’t care what songs you choose I will watch I over an over again 😂🤯
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole, the one thing you'll find out about the Home Fries (Home Free fans), we're extremely devoted to our guy's, so if you react to them we will come, & if you continue to check them out, the Home Fries will sub your channel. Great reaction, this Home Fry has already subbed hoping to see more of Home Free. Some suggestions are "Man of Constant Sorrow", "Hillbilly Bone", "Brother's in Arms", "End of the Road", & "Cover Me Up", these are all covers. I'd also suggest checking out some of their originals "Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget", "Road Sweet Road", "What's Left of My Heart", & the title track off of their newest album that premiered yesterday "So Long Dixie". Their album debuted as #1 on the Country Music Billboard chart. 🍟❤️
Home Fry here, loving your reaction to our guys. Subbed to see if you venture farther down the Home Free rabbit hole and join us Home Fries for some truly remarkable A Capella. Happy anniversary and thanks for the joy.
Austin's range is just under five octaves, and sopranos get paid a lot of money to sing the high notes that he does. Just to make sure that he did this song justice, he brought the lady who makes him complete into the studio. Happy Anniversary!
Very nice song for an anniversary ☺️ Happy anniversary! For country Acapella try My Church or Wagon wheel or Ring Of Fire. Then again there's I Got Friends In Low Places 🤣
Happy Anniversary! I do hope you continue down the Home Free rabbit home! You won't regret it!
Thank you for reacting to this amazing cover!! Austin is so fine that he can show off anytime he wants...
Take Me Home Country Roads, So Long Dixie (latest release), any Home Free song you like because they're all worth a reaction. Love it.

Heres a little history: The group started in 2001 by brothers Chris and Adam Rupp
They are the first and only known country a cappela group but they can honestly sing any genre.

The group has: 5 Tenors,2 Bass,2 Baritone,4 can beatbox a little and 1 freak of nature ( Adam Rupp)and 4 take lead depending on the song. Adam doesn’t like to sing he prefers beatboxing he thinks he doesn’t have a beautiful voice and not trained like the others (But we all know he does) to hear his voice listen to How Great Thou Art.
They do covers and have a lot of original songs.
They have done collaborations with:

Tim’s bass Misty Mountain (The Hobbit)Peter Hollens Ft Tim Foust.Tim’s range: Will Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay (Tim’s page)

Some funny thing live from their concerts:Story time With Tim,Guilty Pleasures Derailed,BHH/WWTWWS Milkbone(Bring Him Home/What We’re Thinking While We’re Singing) All hilarious one more 9 To 5 Beatbox Breakdown ( amazing)
They are just funny, down to earth, humble nice guys.Hope this helps.Sorry for the long read
You left off 3 of my favorites - Auld Lang Syne, How Great Thou Art, and In the Blood. And Tim in That's My Church.
@@lynnbetts4332 Sorry I figured it was so long that adding more would be over kill but I’ll add them the next time promise . But How Great Thou Art is on there it’s the part about Adam singing
@@lynnbetts4332 added
If you want to see the other end of Tims voice check out their duet with the Oak Ridge boys doing Their song Elvira.
You will love going down the Home Free rabbit hole and thousands of Home Fries will follow you down it. Enjoyed your reaction. ❤
Adam Rupp, beat boxer and Rob Lundquist, tenor, are from Minnesota. Tim Foust, bass, from Texas - known for blowing out speakers with low notes, Austin Brown, lead on this song, high tenor, and Adam Chance -known as Chance- is from Alabama
You should dance to this with your wife! Happy Anniversary!!🎉
Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.
I saw them live last year, Austin was sick but it was amazing yet!
Adam Rupp ( beat boxer) and his brother Chris (left group for solo career) started the group 21 years ago in Minnesota. When he left they added Adam Chance ( bass/baritone he's from Florida) Rob (beard glasses tenor) from Minnesota, Tim ( from Texas bass, he has a 5 octave range), Austin ( high tenor from Georgia they found him on a cruise ship performing) . This was recorded separately due to Covid. Tim and Austin do alot of individual work. Each has their own you tube sites where you can see them do individual work.
These guys are awesome, keep reacting to them 👍
Welcome to Home Fry Nation the deepest Rabbit hole there is. Enjoy!!
Home Free are my jam! 💜💜💜 So excited I get to see them live this year. Hubby’s Christmas gift for me.
You'd love a Home Free deep dive. They have a great catalog.
Home Free, End of the Road is a must.
Happy Anniversary Sebs! Welcome to the rabbithole! Great reaction!
You can't go wrong with anything homefree there great
Home Free is a huge rabbit hole to go down. They are awesome
Great reaction!! Thank you for giving Home Free a chance. These guys have a deep respect for all people (especially females), pride in our country (our military and our history - past and present), their families and friends (their wives, girlfriends and friends are in a lot of their videos), they take time to chat with their fan base, reactors and are just home bodies. They don't put themselves on a pedestal and won't give in to what the world wants for music. They're wholesome and just like singing. They all have a part of the songs and they all can lead and can beat box (even though Adam Rupp is a master that sounds like he has swallowed the instruments). As you can probably tell, I have a great respect for these gentlemen. Their music can fit into many genres and they don't need to have elaborate videos to sell themselves. Nor do they have scantly clothed females displaying their bodies and dancing as if they're having sex. You can see what I'm talking about in the video... Butts Medley. I'll get off my soap box and hope that you will continue to dig into the rabbit hole of Home Free!!! A new sub 😊
Home Free forever!!! They are remarkable! Rabbit hole is deep
You definitely need to listen to Man of constant sorrow next! homefree is the greatest acapella group out!
I just want to thank you for being such a different person than I normally watch on CZcams. You are very soft spoken and a breath of fresh air. I just recently found your channel.
Man of Constant Sorrow is also an amazing song by them.
Home Free is amazing. They are country but they sing all genres of music. They are super talented. Their beatboxer is award winning. He and Austin (lead here) killed it. This was during Covid so they weren’t even together. I thought the use of tv’s was clever. They put out a lot of content during Covid and I appreciate that so much. They also write and sing their own music too. Their latest album has 12 originals on it. They released their latest So Long Dixie recently and there is guitar on it but it’s so beautiful. Good reaction. Oh the founders Adam (beatboxer) and Chris (left the group in 2016) are from Mankato. Rob in glasses is also from MN. The other 3 are from the south. Austin (lead here) is from Georgia, Tim (bass with gray hair) is from Texas and Chance (knit hat) baritone/bass is from Alabama. Chance replaced Chris from earlier videos.
They sound just as good live
Home Free is awesome, Austin killed this performance
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole! Home Free are the best. You need to check out their rendition of Boyz II Men End of Road, Hillbilly Bone, In the Blood. Austin does a great cover of Unchained Melody, Tim has Will You Love me Tomorrow, Since I don't have you. Rob and Austin do 2 country boys doing opera Nessun Dorma and so many more.
I adore Home Free. Share this with your wife if she hasn’t heard it. Better yet sing it to her! Best wishes.
Thank you so much for the Home Free reaction, it is so appreciated! I'm so happy to see this. Home Free is amazing! Once you've listened to Home Free, you just want to hear more. 🤣😀
Happy anniversary to you and your wife! Home Free started as a country a cappella group but has branched out into many genres. Looking forward to your reactions to many more a cappella gems from (Home Free, VoicePlay, PTX)
Home Free is awesome and the best a cappella band out there. Love them. I am enjoying your country journey, keep up the great job. Thank you !!! 🎼🦋🎵♥️🎶
I saw them in concert in December and they are just as good live!
Welcome to the family, and the Home Free rabbit hole! Giving a sub to you now, keep up the reactions, a few songs to check out are, Brothers in Arms, End of the Road, Folsom Prison Blues, Unchained Melody. That's just to get you started.
Subbed for more HF! You are in for a treat with them. They're talented, sometimes freakin' hilarious, down-to-earth, beautiful people. We Home Fries love our boys!!!
Happy happily ever after to you both! I absolutely love your reactions!
Lol you just opened the best can of worms ever. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!
You have opened a can that cannot be closed. Hang on and enjoy the ride you won't regret it.
Another amazing song by Home Free is Man of constant sorrow
Going to see these guys in February on my birthday. Can’t wait.
Get ready because here come the Home Fries.
Welcome to the unbelievable world of Home Free! They never disappoint!
Dave here. Oh man. you are in for such a treat. Home Free is great. Some should be watched with Ali. Bless This Broken Road, Mayday (later), Working for a Living (fun). Best cover; End of the Road, Besgt arranagement Do You Hear What I Hear. My favs: One Man Band, AustinBrown solo - Bring Him Home, Tim solo doo wops. - any of them. At your pace but do enjoy.
I hope you have more of Home Free on here. I listen to them all the time, every one of them have beautiful voices! They are amazing and can put on a great show!
I never liked this song. Not Percy Sledge, not Michael Bolton. Still don't like the song. BUT, the boys killed it. Amazing backing vocals. Unparalleled vocal percussion. And Austin just floating up into the stratosphere. Come join us in the very enjoyable Home Free rabbit hole. You won't regret it. I suggest The Driver or Helplessly Hoping or, maybe, Listen to the Music. Enjoy!
i have seen them dozens of times, no matter how many times I see them on the same tour they never get old. Actually get better every time I see them
I dont know.. Sounds to me like he's using only his chest voice... Which is even more amazing !!
My first introduction to them was Man of Constant Sorrow... you will NOT be disappointed to react to that one 😁
hi.........migrated to check out your other reactions when i found and enjoyed you reacting to dan vasc. so glad i did. have always loved this song and had not heard it covered by anyone else. loved the percy sledge version, and love this also. keep reacting
Start out with End of The Road, Brothers in Arms, Butts Medley & Sea Shanty Medley are really fun, Ring of Fire, Man of Constant Sorrow JUST for beginners!!🥰🎶
A life where we work out -flatland cavalry
It’s a great song and a great story
Ahh, My favorite group.🙂
They are great musicians and great humans!!!! The best group out there right now!!!! Enjoy them.
Love your reactions to different types of music. I just discovered Home Free over a year ago. There is nothing those guys can't do. Especially Tim Foust.
Every single song Home Free touches is absolute magic. Please review "Man of Constant Sorrow" and you will simply lose you mind on hearing all them.
Loved it! Home Free is an amazing group that can be serious ( Brothers in Arms, Everybody Walking this Land, Helplessly Hoping ) Goofy ( Between a Rock and a Heartache, Thank God I'm a country boy, All about that Bass, Working for a Living) , Moving ( Country Roads take Me home, How Great thou Art, in the Blood ) Amazing Mashups ( Butts remix, Country Fried Pop, Women, Amen/Female) or Simply Great originals ( Land of the Free, Dive Bar Saints, Dreamer, Undivided, Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, Understand) and has Had collaborations with Kenny Rogers ( Children go where I send thee) and the Oakridge Boys ( Elvira, Beautiful Star of Bethlehem) among others including Avi Kaplan formerly of Pentatonix ( Ring of Fire)
Subbing in the hope of more Home Free just a fyi they did a version of Dolly Parton's 9to5
Please do more!!!!!!!!❤
Please go down this rabbit hole... Fyi, you will want a separate playlist for them! Once you start you won't want to stop! Going to see them in April and can't wait!
Annnnnnd - here comes the Home Fries!!! So much fun.
So now you've heard 2 of the 3, in my opinion, best accapella groups around. Pentatonix is the pop centric group. Home Free is the more Country/silly minded group ( you HAVE to see their 'All About that Bass' and their 'Butts Medley') The final group is VoicePlay who are the 'theater kids' of accapella. And fair warning, this isn't Austin showing off... this is just Austin being Austin ;)
Man-Kay-Toe (if that helps)😂 And yes, Adam Rupp and his brother Chris (An original founder) started it all right here with other church members and highschool friends originally, then picked up Rob, Chance (Adam) and Tim later. Being from here, and their age, I know their origin story pretty well (This was a town of about 20K people, maybe less back then), but they do have some sit-down story times posted on their page about when and how they got their start and found the other guys.
Theses GUYS ARE PHENOMENAL, Austin is the very BRST!!!
You're definitely getting lucky tonight if you play Austin blowing his pipes out on this song for your wife!!!
He was getting married soon.....and you could see the love for his fiance....with every glance
Also.. not many people react to their cover of Hopelessly Hoping... one of my faves by them
you have no idea how deep this rabbit hole is...................enjoy!
This was during the quarantine so the guys were all in different locations. Austin Brown the lead in this song has a solo channel, you should check it out. Tim Foust and Adam Chance have solo channels too.
Not just an a cappella group but The A Cappella Group
This song was made for Austin Brown. Home Free is the most amazing Acapella group ever. CK out Road Sweet Road
Can you please watch the Bee Gees too much Heaven. Remember back in those days they didn’t have the equipment they do today. Also, remember they have one microphone.
Austins wife was there during the performance. He was looking directly at her and you can tell by his facial expressions and emotions! Lucky girl! Thanks for sharing! Love from Texas!!!
They aren't married, no-one knows why, though they live together and have been together for several years.
@@patriciamcl54 Thanks for letting me know. I thought they were married.
@@donnamoskowitz4978 We're still waiting but have stopped asking. Austin has recently talked vaguely about kids, which might mean something. Or not!
Most of the guys have a 6-8 octave range, and Adam, their beatboxer, is just amazing
You should really listen to Home Free- Man of Constant Sorrow. Absolutley AMAZING
There are NO bad Home Free songs literally!🥰🎶
Austin totally nails it. This is now my favorite version. You won't regret going down the Home Free rabbit hole. Their version of God Bless The USA with Lee Greenwood and the Military is phenomenal as is My Church.
Ohmygosh I thought there wasn’t anyone that could hold a candle to Michael Bolton. But he’s close. ❤
By far my favorite group to listen to.
One song home free has performed is GOD BLESS THE USA that is written and sung by Lee Greenwood that gives me goosebumps!
Wow absolutely amazing!!! ❤️🎶❤️🎶
They are spectacular, and that was a great reaction!
Happy Anniversary!!
cant wait till you react to man of constant sorrow, their cover is awesome x 2
