The good ol' ForceSC2Strategy days
The First Descendant is one im very interested in.
I've been following it since the reveal trailer and played in all of the betas. The devs communicate well with the community, and they're clearly listening to feedback.
Everything from gun sounds to grappling hook mobility and in-world activities, enemy patrols, and removal of the gacha color system were all responses to community feedback.
They've done multiple interviews and shared a lot of developer talks and q&a's, and, at this point, they've earned the benefit of the doubt from me.
I'm willing to trust them. Not Nexon as a whole, but this dev team specifically. I hope they don't let me down.
Force been a follower for years, but damn you are so consistent - keep up the good work
Once Human looks like it could be fun. I hadn't heard of Cataclismo, certainly going to stick that on my wish list too.
I am not really into the Survivor Builder Crafting Looter games.
But I did play Once Human and I did enjoy it.
I love this series, keep them up every month!
Yo force thanks for doing this every month. Hope to meet you at a show or something one day
Stormgate, I look forward to.
Throne and Liberty has great ideas and gameplay, will enjoy it for a few weeks and then leave when I won't be able to keep up with guild progression.
Cataclismo is the big surprise here, I'll enjoy getting into that game.
Once Human is a gacha. That is where their monetization sits. You must roll for rare weapon blueprints and then roll again for the same ones to upgrade (identical to the Constelation mechanic from Genshin). Although you can play the game with just what you find in the world, the Gacha blueprints are much stronger.
Once Human looks fun, but the reset every 6 weeks thing sounds annoying.
Playing launch to enjoy the experience with everyone, then probably forgetting about the game for the rest of my life. Happy to have a week or two of fun though.
agree 100% trying to do what Path of Exile does this game is not the same as Path of exile's Genre, gameplay style or even progression, i don't think it will be fun to grind those levels all over again every 6 weeks or grind anything at all tbh
its only look fun but its trash game
Dead on arrival
It will kill the game. Imagine not wanting to play the first 5 weeks. Oh, I'm SUPPOSED to just enjoy jumping in and getting reset in the final week just like that all cause I didn't want to play sooner? That's an endless loop of "if I don't play now, I miss out"
Or maybe they think we'll just live in their game 24/7 to alleviate this
Cataclysmo looks very interesting to me. Def gonna check that out alongside Stormgate. After that then Once Human looks very cool.
the First Descendant looks interesting, i didn't even know about it but it's coming pretty out soon, i'll try it out, i was really in to Warframe once upon a time. I've been looking forward to Zenless Zone Zero also, i'm a big fan of Genshin, been playing it almost since launch.
I'm excited for once human!! I played a beta of it and actually quite enjoyed it honestly
Thank you for another great video.
I'm pretty excited for Once Human. Had a good time base building.
love these videos. keep up the good job man
I enjoyed first descendant. Been looking forward to it
Ya the gameplay (literally shooting things, etc.) felt enjoyable. Definitely felt like it was going to lack real legs though. I definitely plan on jumping in, getting as much as I can out of it, and likely dropping it pretty early on. We shall see though!
I'm just scared what the hell Nexon has planned up it's sleeves...
@@Handlesaredumbm8 oh they're 100% going to kill the game in first 3 months. its what they do best.
Really hoping they've learned, I want TFD to be a long living good game. We know they'll ruin it tho, i'll just enjoy it until then.
@@prismriot4910 judging by the fact that there are TWO cash shops and one is for progression and power, I'd say it's pretty clear they haven't learned anything.
I doubt it lives long, but I plan to play it for a bit anyway.
Forgot about the OG Helldivers, Earth Defense Force 6 releasing on July 25th, I can't wait for that!
First Descendant and Once Human is going to be my main games for July and hopefully the rest of the year.
Pve shit games who you competing against yourself?
@@christophernixon7926 against the game it self 🙂 i love pve looter shooter games 🙂
I dont need pvp or competing to have fun 🙂
They're both f2p so take them with grains of salt. First Descendant is sounding like a worse Warframe and Once Human has a 6 week seasonal wipe.
@@Handlesaredumbm8 As you do with all F2P games and actually in general with all games of today, it aint the 90s any more 🙈
Edit: gaming today feels more and more like a slot machine 🤷
@@christophernixon7926 not everyone plays to sweat. some just play for entertainment
flintlock looks really cool, never heard of it before
A WarCraft 3-style game looks up my alley, as does the tower defense one. Color me interested in these.
@18:16 Smite 2 Thank you for mentioning Smite 2, It's also the only MOBA I ever enjoyed and played for any length of time. I had no idea it was even a thing?!?
The last few look I interesting Flintlock and Cataclismo .. now that looks good 👍
Looking forward to trying and a abandoning Throne & Liberty exactly as you predicted 😂
Awesome list! I'm really excited to try out these new games in July. By the way, have you heard about OPEN? It's an upcoming web3 game by Readyverse Studios and Walker Labs. It features amazing biomes and battle modes. Definitely a game to watch out for this month. Keep up the great work on these videos!
Love your content! ❤
once human looks good. it can go big if the world and base building executed well
I enjoyed the beta for First Descendant, will give the 1.0 release a shot.
Flintlock demo was interesting, with a cool setting. Gonna play it given its on Gamepass.
The thing I'm most looking forward to is the new Last Epoch seasn, they seem to be adding a lot of cool stuff.
Was going to play flint till .. they said sweet baby is in it
Once Human was really fun to play with friends. Probably gonna play it, explore a bit and then forget it exists.
I played the Dawntrail Early Access this past weekend, and I'd say it took me bout 35 to 40 hrs to get through. I know some who skip the cutscenes and story did it in under 10 hrs. It has been a great experience so far. :)
Tempted to try Stormgate, but Dawntrail will probably cosume the majority of July for me :)
Cataclismo sounds like kind of a 3D version of The Last Spell, seems fun!
The first descendant looks friggin banger
My steam wishlist gets longer every time you release one of these videos!
@Force Gaming are those by any chance V-MODA Crossfade headphones? I think I have a pair of them somewhere!
Great vid
Cataclismo, I love strategy games so this looks dope. Plus it’s the devs of moonlighter
I would watch a mash up play through of you and FFXIV for sure 👌🏻
Man, I'm only excited for Frostpunk 2, but the delayed move is honestly understandable as the recent releases just like the ER DLC could easily overshadow them and the other uprising titles as well.
I always enjoy your videos just know that a lot of your first descendant info was out dated and they fixed some of the stuff you didn't like.
Cant wait for TFD its going to me amazing loved the beta+open beta! And Once Human will be good too loved playing the Betas!
StormGate has fantastic graphical style if you ask me! very WC3 inspired, and I love it!
if you are a fan of sim colonies , check also Norland , is like a medieval Rimworld , more or less. release on 18th.
It's important to contain new in the title. Good job.
I'm enjoying Dying Light 2 right now after just finishing The Callisto Protocol. It feels good to finally shrink the back catalogue and not having to rush and spend exorbitant amounts of money on new games. Can't wait to play Ghost of Tsushima soon.
Flintlock and Frostpunk 2 look the most appealing to me.
Hehe similar here... I just started Ghost of Tsushima ( played DL 2 after the new update). Do really enjoy GoT atm 👍
A bit surprised that Last Epoch's new cycle wasn't mentioned at all
I'm actually excited about flintlock. It reminds me of GoW a bit.
Just so many games it's really too much to keep up :P . Was waiting for First descendant (even if i only enjoy it 3 weeks f.e.) , ONCE HUMAN, Zenless zone zero and i am a FFXIV player since day 1 of ARR :P .. like man how can I keep up with all these games
Any chance you saw my game Finding Mosey? It's also releasing this month!
Corepunk and Dungeon Bourne look cool
Aska, even know it came out in June, is epic.
Finally tl beta and once human what a nice month !!
Cataclismo and Flintlock look fun
Ive been registered for Core punk since the beginning and still havent gotten it. Ive told so many people about it and how good it looks and never have gotten a chance to play. Maybe this time will be different.
As for bitcraft, its last test was great it just might not even your genre. It kept me coming back over and over again the 4-5 days I had access. It was a fun CHILL game. Not meant to be this killer of other survival games game. Its designed to be a chill “survival” game with a sense of community where other survival games focus on “its just you”
Just waiting for Corepunk and T&L ngl
I will enjoy once human, beta was great, had fun with all the things you can do. Well, about the wipes. We will see. Im playing and enjoying anyway.
Edit. Cataclysmo looks interesting, thanks for the tip with the demo, downloading now!
Really curious to know what mmos you have your eye on currently. I'm a big fan of traditional mmo's like wow, ff14, wildstar, RO, are there any like this that you are aware of and or excited for?
Concord beta would been something fun to add as well
Really hoping I can 100% TFD before Once Human releases. Got 7 days to do it but not sure how much the pay wall will slow me down. Gonna grind the shit out of Once Human though to try and do everything in the first season because I have no interest in the seasonal resets.
Stormgate and Cataclismo!
it's a while off from being finished or a released game but I hope you start covering Stars Reach and the company behind it, Playable Worlds.. It's gonna give you a lot of content just to cover Playable Worlds a company and what they're trying to accomplish..
I play final fantasy xiv. It's good. 500 hrs to get through story? Maybe
But 1100 hours in, i've been loving it for a very very very long time.
Dawntrail has been enjoyable for me so far. I hope you get to try it when you retire force ;)
will definitely play Once Human. i kinda played the demo too late so im still in honeymoon phase when it ended and i reallllly like it
Keep in mind it has the RUST wipe all your progress every 6 weeks and you start at lvl 1 again now. I loved the game but once I learned that, nah. Not into the mindless "do it over and over and over and over because thats content" type games lol. I guarantee it will die out after the first few wipes because of it.
@@texasdad2372 not really, most of the hardest-to-obtain mods and blueprints will be kept, and you wil have your Eternaland storage, and i think every season has a different story progression so you wont go do the same thing over and over again - story-wise
this is like No Man's Sky seasons, wherein you can enter your current character and put items that you've gathered in other ways into the current season
i kinda figured the part "what if there's new players entering the public servers and see a ton of houses built around the area" and yea -- it kinda makes sense for the seasonal reset
Revisiting Last Epoch this month? Cycle 2 will be launching on 9th of July.
The defendants where it’ll take 15876 real life hours to get one component for a ult and you need 4 so have fun grinding for 32 yard for one
Throne and liberty beta this month, cant friggin wait!
Made by Amazon who made New World lol
Last Epoch "season" two just announced with a buncha new content. You should give it a peek.
The game I'm looking forward to the most is Stormgate the return of Warcraft 3 and Starcraft altogether as one.
I’m definitely putting lots of time into Once Human if there’s one game that will occupy me like Elden Ring SOTE Sekiro Destiny 2 GOT & RDR2 it’s Once Human I tried to like First Descendant but the elements of it remind me so much of Anthem & Mass Effect the co-op seems fun but it just seems like there’s not that many quality of life activities whereas once human has dungeons world events PVP here’s the best part you can drive vehicles & IT’S OPEN WORLD that’s practically everything I want in a game the beta was pretty dope for sure
I will try flintlock when it drops on the game pass.
If I don't like it, I'll go back to the witcher that I just started with for the 1st time ever.
In first descendant I don't remember there being any RNG in their buying stuff with real money during the last week long play test so I don't think that will be an issue and since it's free to play and there's no PVP they can have all the pay to win items they would like I could care less since it's co op PvE.. as a matter of fact I hope somebody in my group has bought everything they could so it's not so hard lmao
Frag Punk Alpha test missed out on!!!
If the monetization for TFD is similar to Warframe, I don’t see a problem TBH. Will check it out later.
ya nexons always had issues but if you take a look at maplestory (the game that had the issues) its already taking huge strides to fix there game and rebuild trust to an extent we havent seen ever
Stormgate! 👍
I added cataclismo to my wishlist
I feel like im getting MP survival looter fatigue. These games are all starting to blend together...
Force you can play FF. If you stream it I think it’ll be worth the bang for your buck. I’m thinking about the vampiric player base that will watch your fall into FF. If only to finally clear the blind spot as it were.
probably will check out first descendent after FF14 DT
playing Dawntrail right now, hell que times as dps naturally
If you haven't tried dungeonborne yet, then try the free playtest on july 3rd. It has a 3v3 arena that dark and darker doesn't have.
Also, they took away the limited invites, and everyone can play
The best rts right now is northgard and im not sure if stormgate will change that.
And yeah Force, you are the man. Fresh excellent take on new games this month. 👌
The only thing that's better about this than warframe is the money to in game credits ratio lol
Like in warframe, I have never bought plat unless I had a discount (50% or 75%) and buying plat at the normal rate is just unreasonably expensive.
Hopefully they have a market like in warframe to be able to earn credits.
Once Human is good but hope it got some hefty polish, the betas were quite janky.
First Descendant could be fun Warframe-like but depends on how Nexon-ized it will be.
Flintlock is on the list!
thoughts on tarisland?
ZZZ is gonna be lit!!!
Thanks for telling me about all the games I can skip.
Final Fantasy is it worth it for someone who have never played? I'm intrigued by it.
Throne and Liberty's beta for global is about the only thing for me in July. Maybe some Phase 4 Season of Discovery in WoW. FFXIV's new Viper job seems alright but I just can't get into that game much. I need a real New World replacement, not shooters. Thumbs up for S-tier videos!
@ForceGamingYT my game Last whisper survival will get out the 22 too if you want :)
cant wait for this video in september, aom retold, space marine 2, diablo 4 expansion, hopefully kcd release date soon too
Flintlock looks interesting
Vant wait for gw2 new expansion in August
I'm hesitant about First Descendant but the devs show that they do actually listen. Hopefully it holds after release because I need something else alongside D2 and Warframe since I've been playing them for years.
Do yourself a favor dont even try it. Just accept it sucks. Try new games that are actually good
The Review on the First Descendant seems to be based on crossplay test and not the latest playtest.
Many things have changed.
Man, people really love those "gambling for characters and weapons" games. It's wild.
I stopped playing FF14 years ago... and still go back to do the storyline about once a year because the last couple of expansions have been very solid.
Ff is a good come and go game for sure. Story bits come out.. play.. come back for more later.
Once human is amazing
I had a ton of hope for Corepunk. But after playing some alphas I can't help but feel lied to. They have been working on it forever and theres no raids? 2 dungeons and 2 BGs at launch that we aren't able to test and see? I want it to be great but I can't help but wonder what the hell have they been doing all these years? Seems they were directionless and couldn't decide what to make.
Destiny 1&2 were legendary games, i am so sad about those games not meeting those level of polished
