101 Scout, thoughts? Sport Scout up next.
Bro, the link wasn't in the video
@@King-ww1kz still working on it. Shot this not even 24 hrs ago. 😅 I didn’t have the downtime I thought I would, unfortunately.
@@BrandonBicasso i'm here for you brother. I bought my Scout Bobber because of you and Imma ride with you until the wheels fall off.
I love the looks, power numbers, and sound. I do not like the Harley Davidson price.
Price aside, I wonder if it's the liquid cooled cruiser I've been waiting on. It certainly looks like it.
I'm 5 ' 11 you think the bike is to small for me brother?
I love the whole scout line up, but that 101 😮😍
The classic looks really cool and you can not get the limited plus tech packages to keeo the price down but imo i might savenup and get it just because i like the gps built in and realistically you could go the distance on these things so uncle sams sattalite gps being built in is really good
Very sharp redesign, appreciate that it’s a ground up new bike but still “looks” like the scout we all know and love!
Every time Brandon thinks he's out of the new bike review game, THEY PULL HIM RIGHT BACK IN!!!
I for one am profusely happy that the first hands on I've seen was yours, nobody could have done it better: All show, no tell, every piece of information you couldn't get from pictures and didn't want to read perfectly edited and scored to boot! This is ART, man, you and whoever edits your vids have a gift and I thank you for sharing it.
The big old power button on the side made me crack up. It's perversely futuristic, a DX salute to "classic" looking modern engine designs, and I kinda love it. I wish there was more rear travel, I always wish there was more rear travel but the shocks are adjustable so I can probably crank them up and make the most of it... I want to be mad at them for not going farther, but this is a mint of a bike and I'd love to thrash one!
I appreciate that so much!
I'm not a cruiser/bobber guy - But damn that thing looks 🔥🔥
Nobody does a review like you do. It was like hearing an old favorite song again from my childhood. Warm and comfortable, instant smile and memories.
The new gauge is definitely tempting for a trade
I originally wanted the scout bobber...then I saw the M109R...then I found your CZcams channel, and then Indian comes out with this Scout 101... I dunno what I want now...guess I'll keep living vicariously through your channel. Lol
My guy said he not gonna do videos like this anymore then does it again ASMR style. Thumbs up for the chaos
All chaos, but I’m all for these kind of rides. Just not making it the focus. I only get these opportunities once a year. You’d be waiting till next year if this was my only shindig.. ya dig?
The 101 & sport scout doesn't look so small with the large front wheel very nice Indian .
With the 4" tech screen , keyless ignition , inverted fork and finally the dual disc breaks also prices that won't make you have to repent the following Sunday in church Indian the will continue to be the best Selling motorcycle of the 2025 lineup great job again Indian motorcycles.
Brandon I've been following your channel since before you had your spill on your scout. I know your channel has changed direction a bit since then but I've always looked forward to your reviews cuz you've always had an excellent way with words compared to a lot of other CZcamsrs and I really enjoy listening to you talk about motorcycles I was a big fan of when you had the victories as well so I'm really looking forward to these updates with this new scout and you are impressions of them kudos
I LOVE everything about this 101! Living vicariously through you Brandon. 😊
Great video! I like that you got those real close up shots of the bike.
Oohweeey, that's a sharp machine! I really like the Indian information display, they're dope.
Salute Bradda
Thanks for jumping back to reviews. Totally respect the decision to focus on the builds - your passion - learning a lot there too! So glad you came back for Scout. We ordered a 101 on launch day so loving the reviews!! 🤘
I only stopped because I didn't have access to bikes. Hard to have reviews as the focus with nothing to really review. Congrats on the 101! You'll love it!
@@BrandonBicasso 😂 hope you get more! Thanks!
Long time watcher, 1st time commentor, love this... This would be ideal since I started watching your content because of the scout... New roots maybe?
Brandon , this is the bike you need. It fits you good and you look good on it too. This is the best-looking Indian bike released. Outstanding video shots Brandon.
Preciate that. I ride this one tomorrow. 🤟🏾
I was hoping you’d have a hands on video with this bike since I saw the announcement trailer. Love your content man, keep it up
That's a beauty, looking forward to your review.
Finally they gave it attention. Love the ride command and cruise control
👍👍👍 I'm diggin the paint scheme.
this is insane D: 🔥🔥👌👌
God damn! Hella hot bike there bro!
This is a very ASMR video lol. That 101 is 🔥🔥🔥. I didn’t know it had adjustable front forks. Looking forward to your riding impressions
lol, that’s about all I can post until I’m officially allowed to post more.
I’m about to pre order one here in Australia so I appreciate this video a lot.
Now I really want one!
Bruh! You deserve this ride. You are a Tomahawk!
Good straight out of the box
Looking forward to the ride impressions
That a beautiful beast
Proud owner of a 2022 indian and wow, this bike is even more appealing. I really love your pick
Thanks for taking a look at the upgraded Scout! I hear an Indian calling my name!
Ok thats beautiful I can’t wait to see one in person
Figured you’d like it with something more than official photo.
Totally updated and modern look of an old school work horse. The info cluster is awesome and the overall lines of the bike borrows some aesthetics from the previous model years. For me, it doesn’t look as beastly and I am not sold on that particular color scheme. However, everything ties together “nicely” except for the sound of the exhaust! In my opinion, it sounds “tame” and I couldn’t hear that “growl” or throaty sound that is Indian! I guess as more information is released, my opinion will change. Great work B.B., I can’t wait for your full review. 🙏🏾✌🏾
Man I'm digging this bike. It's expensive but dang one of best oooki g bikes out and they've added the features the bike needed, cruise control and the goods to help justify the price.
Absolutely Stunning Machine 😍!!!, No doubt My favorite Cruiser 👍!!!
Whoa. It's beautiful
The Rogue and the Sport Chief fell in love and had a baby.
Looks and sounds good. I'd trade my Rogue for one.
I almost bought a Sportster S until I finally decided on my 23 Chief. But this 101 I would definitely buy.
Perfect right out of the box. Doesn't need a thing.
Wrong, that exhuast is a tragedy. Sounds like a scooter not a vtwin. Needs aftermarket immediately.
DAMN SON! You look good on that bike.
Appreciate that, Lester!
To be honest, the only reason I asked like the scouts is because of you and your videos. But this one actually look a bit more sportier than the previous versions. The painting design on this bike is very nice. It seems the scouts are getting better every year.
This music is a vibe 🎹 🎶
Sweet! If I don't get the Buell, this will be my next bike!
HAHAH. Knew you'd be on it fast. Welcome back, comrade.
Working Fam. You know how I get down.
What a beauty!
Welcome to Minnesota Brandon.
Beautiful bike!
I think a big point I'm not hearing from anyone is how the new exhaust looks does anyone else feel like the old H pipe exhaust looked better than this new does
I agree the new pipe is terrible.
@@markmcintosh7095 oems have sound and emissions regulations to fight with I'm not sure of any stock pipe nowadays that looks good
Best thing about it is once you get an aftermarket it should sound great since you already got the 2 into 1. But I’m sure there’s a cat somewhere in there
Thats why theres wayy better aftermarket pipes
Ruins the whole looks of the bike.
That think is dope looking.
Looks like it's got all the tech
It’s definitely an upgrade. I have a 2019 Scout that I paid off, put some Crusher pipes and a nice pair of ends cuoio leather saddlebags on it and it’s killer. I’ll ride it till it dies and then look into the 101. In the next couple years I want to get either a Roadmaster or Springfield but I’ll always have a Scout.
This Scout looks more substantial than the previous version. I have always love the Scout since Polaris brought Indian back out. I felt it was a great motorcycle. And each version was great. I can’t say enough about how this version has been punched up. Fantastic job Indian.
That 101 looks sweet. Might have to have a third indian in my collection.
They finally have cruise control! Only thing I wish I had on my ‘19 bobber. Taking those 2+ hour long trips once a month was a pain without something like that. Can’t wait to get my hands on the new line up!
Scout 101 is beautiful! I’d throw in mid controls, some pullback on my risers, and a good exhaust. Thats it.
Best looking Indian as for as I'm concerned, really caught my eye.
Wow that’s a nice bike
Even if its true that not much has really changed in this lineup like some of the other motorcycle channels are saying the new fit and finish on this bike in particular is super trick and sexy. What a wonderful toy it must be :) Love that paint job too and the engine....wow!
There’s carry over parts between the previous Gen but it’s a different attitude overall. A lot of little stuff that’s been changed to make the experience better. I had to speak with an engineer to get some of that info. If they haven’t gotten their hands on it, no idea what they’re talking about.
Thats a freaking Win!. Im 6'2" and love the Scout bobber but it was way to small. This looks like it might work.
What a lovely machine. I'm saving up o get it in a year
Maybe just the sport but this on red and black is my favorite
So happy to see they put the superior FTR switch gear on it, ergonomics are so much better.
I really like it. I'll love one in all black.
It looks great, it seems bigger than the previous model.
Hey Brandon awesome teaser!
Looking forward to seeing u ride it.
Does it have that feature you mention that Chiefs do to mitigate engine temp ( u mentioned in another video).
Found it, “Cylinder deactivation”…
Mentioned at 3:38 of How Chief Solved Bobber problems…
No cylinder deactivation on Scout. Option isn’t in ride command
she’s puuuuuuuuurdy! excellent camera work showing us all the details. that bike is loaded! just need a Bassani pipe and we in biz! and maybe a seat depending on comfort level of stock. thanks for sharing mane 🎉
Awesome
In my opinion 101 is the best looking bike at this moment, from all custom category. I looooooooooooooooooooove it and i swear i.ll buy one 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
love this bike.
Indian always makes a cool bike 👍👍👍👍😎
Looks pretty nice. I am more along the lines of the FTR for a seating position, though.
That thang 😍
Dang man, you got me interested...wife not happy bout it...
Just show up with bikes at the door like I do. 😂
Thanks for the video! The new Indian Motorcycle Scout 101 oozes quality, it seems very well thought out and well designed. What a machine. I'm going to trade my Springfield Dark Horse for one like this. As for the Sport Scout... Nothing is tougher than that machine. A proper street bike tough as hell. And then there is the Bobber... Ah bobber- is where you start building that Custom machine, the Bobber is just cool, and Scout Classic very refined, very elegant. It makes me happy that Indian Motorcycle has exactly that Scout in the range.Very classic. I like it! When it comes to the Super Scout, it is probably the most practical machine straight from the floor and out the door. It is perhaps the one you should have chosen, but perhaps you didn't choose. Nope, you end up slapping the extra equipment on another model (bobber/Classic) then they cost you "twice as much"... Best to think about this a bit. - But that 101, I feel like I really want it. Looking forward to the next videos.
man...I just bought the scout rogue a couple of months ago. These new ones are nice
It’s hard to time the new releases unfortunately lol
@@BrandonBicasso Yea i didn't see this coming lol
So beautiful
If a Chief and an FTR had a baby...
Interested in riding the new scout but I think I'll keep my Bobber.
I've a Scout here in the UK. I was really looking forward to the new version but I'm nowhere near as hyped about it now I've seen them. Do they look good - yeah but here's what I'm seeing that'd annoy me to live with:
- The TFT speedo - why a touchscreen? You're going to have to take off gloves every time you want to tweak or change modes (I know you can use the thumb controls but still)
- An 'ON' button instead of key? I love my Scout because its so mechanical and true to its roots. The engine mount key is one of my favourite elements of the bike.
- The bike now has the plastic centre tank piece where the filler cap should be? Why not route the airbox elsewhere so you've got a central filler cap. Looks weird off to one side
- The engine is less of a centre piece than it was before with the billet / chrome accents and heads. I like black on black but the engine seems lost in the new frame
Just my 2p
They've done it again. It's beautiful. Indian And Royal Enfield are starting to win.
Oh snap!
I could, but you wouldn't hear it.
Show us the power with a burnout💥🔥
Out of my skill and respect but there’s rolling burnouts somewhere on video.
Judging by how many times I’ve watched 101 videos over and over, I’m pretty confident this will be my next bike (I prefer the white one however). My only real hang up is the engine is so much prettier on the Chief. So…, I could see going that way as well. They don’t have any of the ‘25s near me yet but there’s going to be a Bobber for viewing on the 7th in a few days. Planning to go check it out.
Definitely do so. I love my ThunderStroke for many reasons and one of them is the look of the engine. Mine is powder coated too so that adds to the flare. Paint job on 101 is 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾
That screen though…. Awesome. Almost like a baby Chief now. Actually now that I saw the rebound and dampening on the forks it’s an upgrade to the Chief. And that exhaust looks MUCH BETTER.
The exhaust is growing on me tbh.
This is what the Octane should've been. Glad they have mid controls as an option from the factory.
Beautiful, looks amazing. Only problem is it’s left hand drive 😂😂😂😂
Sweet! Dude! I'm just stoked that it has a fuel gauge. Key Fob pic? I like where the air intake is.
Standing by...
Key Fob is the same as Chief
After watching the launch video and this first look, I really like everything Indian did with the Scout. I like the flexible option packages, the quoted specs, and the clean lines. And yet... they don't excite me to the point of making a financially unwise decision. My first thoughts were, in this order: 1) oh look, they gave Scout the Chief treatment, 2) I wonder if there's going to be any good deals on '23 Scouts, and 3) I get Polaris putting money into the big sellers, but I'm still a little sad the R&D budget went here instead of putting the tech package into the SDH.
Nice lookin' bike, though. I'm looking forward to your ride review!
Love to see you take it out on a long ride, see how it is on the highway. Is the seating position comfortable?
Working on getting that info, I think you’ll be surprised.
I do love the paint design and where they placed the red. I ride a CSC custom Chieftan Trike. My wife rides the Scout Rogue.. It is a nice bike for her. I definitely need a bigger bike. This looks to dainty for me..but love the paint.
Good looking Bike...H-D better Step up, Cause Polaris is killin it with this Bik
Sounds so much nicer than the Harley. Looks better too
would take this one as a base and make a nice scout bobber out of it
id like the bars even more towards me with and with mid controls
That is a really good looking bike! Way better than the new HD Nightster and Sportster S.
It looks cool. I need to ride one, to see the similarities between that and the normal scout. I rode one, and it was too small for me.
I like it a lot, I love my current Scout bobber, I think I will let it be in production for a couple years to work out all the bugs and then get one. I'm not done enjoying the bobber I got now.
I’d love if they came out with a tech package that we could use on the old scout.
Same. I’m pretty attached to my 2017 scout and couldn’t see getting a new scout just for tech or styling.
@@slaytanic921 yeah I just got my scout in August all I really want is the cruise control. I know they sell units but I think a factory one would be nice.
Screen is possible to retro fit but that’s all you’d get really. The other pieces are more involved.
I really like the bike, I’m afraid it may be a little small (ergonomics) for my 6’3” 215 frame. I hade a Scout Rogue for about 6 mos. and it was a fast bike, but awful for comfort after 30 minutes of riding. I had the 4” foot extension with that. I took it in the shorts and traded for a Chief Bobber and put in some seat upgrades, etc. and it is more suited for a tall rider even though the bike lengths are similar- does this one feel bigger/comfortable more so than the original scout?
Can’t comment on that yet for myself but there’s a Gent that’s 6’4” and he’s been enjoying it all day. Really.
First thing I would do is cut the baffles out of the exhaust.
It’s a lot of work to do it lol. Come out better snatching the can off. There’s some welded pieces in there from what I’ve been told.
@@BrandonBicasso nothing a hole saw couldn't fix.
Thanks for this first, intuitive look at a new bike.
It's as if i'd look at it the first time myself. Checking everything...
An interesting mix of very "clean" design and colorful paint, still classic elements.
Not my taste. (CDH owner)
However, very curious about your review. 🖖
