Nice job on the birdhouse and the use of the threaded insert. I have used plumbing coupling to attach lids on vessels. One thing I might add is a dowel to reinforce the walnut piece to the cap. Glue alone might fail over time. Looking forward to the next video

Very impressive project Luie. I like every thing you did here. Totally impressed with the wood burning skills. Last time I did wood burning about all I could do is make black marks and burn myself.
I should try it again some day.
I love those printed threads and can see lots of good uses for them.

Love the bird house. Having those logs come off the lathe is why you wear a face shield. I think I've broken a couple fingers with tool catches and had some segmented work shatter all across the shop. Be careful out there.

I love the way you hot glued a wooden tab to the end to stop your super glue from leaking. It beats the heck out of my duct tape method. I'm learning something new everyday. Thanks for the great video.
