That's basically close to my na cam mines 238-342 @112 yeah but bigger but I was thinking cam swap with turbo but watching this maybe not🤔 on ls1 but Higgins race heads etc magnum 6 speed twin plate
If you look on my channel we did a turbo HQ (purple) with a 5.3 with a very similar cam to yours. Was about 2-3 years ago. Went really well

im doing a small gt3582 single turbo build for my l98 ve ssv manual. runing about 6-8psi max with new fuel system
what headgasket do i need? going in a bit blind and forgot about lowering compression.
No need to lower compression mate. The factory GM MLS headgaskets are plenty adequate. A 3582 is very small though, I would invest in a bigger turbo for sure

Yeah nice 800HP is the most a stock bottom end will take but if I had spent all that money I would have built the bottom end, Obviously you dont build an engine like that to just drive the speed limit on the street hes gunna do powercruise or roll racing.
Sbe's go a lot further than that.
I'd be more than stoked to have 800hp from a stock bottom end for less than $25K. Forging the bottom end ain't cheap and if you're doing that then you may as well stroke it which adds even more to the cost.
