I'm not sure who came up with the idea of combining the theme of the Night King with Arthas Menethil, the idealistic Prince of Lordaeron whom later falls from grace & becomes the instrument of the Lich King, Ner'zul. But it's one outstanding video, that has been made clear in abundance. The melody of the Night King's theme is more subdued & a bit sadder than the majority of the song's covers sound, in my opinion. There's not much for those two to be happy about, because the Night King was killed dishonorably against his will, & Arthas brought dishonor upon himself; the course of action he chose to undertake, which begun when he decided to cull the citizens of Stratholme, became irrevocable when with the runeblade Frostmourne he struck down his loyal companion, Muradin Bronzebeard. What do you think Arthas & the Night King would talk about, if they had a conversation ? Sapphiron & Viserion probably would roam as they saw fit, unchallenged & unrivaled.
