@@DBTitans 7 seasons of hype and preparation, dies in only one battle in one episode. It took only one person to kill him and that person didn't even have to fight. Oh, and also none of his wights defended him. Conclusion: Poor execution, feels fake and unearned.

All seems lost during the battle, most of the allied army is dead or dying and fighting on the walls as the horde of wights surround the castle. Reanimated Giants breach the castle gates, and all hope is lost. But off in the distance, a sound is heard. It gets louder and louder as it closes in, booming like thunder and lightning. Horns and drums played a powerful, threatening foreign cadence as they finally came into view. The orange glow from their torches illuminated their silhouettes for all to see. They were astride golden horses and clad in a deep red armor emblazoned with the fiery heart of the Lord of Light. The Red Priestess Melisandre was among them, riding next to several masked shadowbinders from Asshai. They surveyed the battlefield once more before dipping their obsidian-tipped lances. Hundreds of priests and priestesses began to chant in a tongue unknown to Westeros, echoing through the crisp, cold air. The chanting grew louder and more agitated with every verse until the lance tips finally burst into flame, igniting into a wall of light that could be seen for miles. With one last blow of their horns, the R'hlloric army began their charge down the winding hills of Winterfell toward the onslaught of the dead . . .

Now imagine in a few years the last 4 seasons are remade and at the epic final battle it comes down to the desperate attempt of Jon Snow to fight the Night King underneath the Weirwood as the rest of Winterfell freezes and burns around them.
Two of the dragons of Daenerys are dead and the Others are chasing down the remaining fleeing humans south while Jon and the bravest of the main cast are doing a suicide charge. They have to get to Bran to stop the Night King. It's the final attempt to save the Realm. Jaime, Theon, Brienne and Podrick die along with Ghost.
Daenerys and Drogon are covering the retreat of the living south but Jorah dies and the last fighters are overwhelmed as the wights run faster than them and they don't tire. Under the weirwood Jon dances with the Night King. Jon's body is already freezing unnaturaly as he struggles to land a single blow with Longclaw. The Great Other's blade coldens the air around where it is swung.
Jon is on the ground and his body freezes. Only his head can move but just barely. "Jon." His head turns towards Bran. "Goodbye." Bran touches the weirwood and his body goes lifeless. His plan is complete at last. The weirwood's face turns from dark red into bright orange and flames begin to spread from its center envelopping the whole tree in a matter of moments.
Bran was used by the Three-eyed Raven as a bridge between the Old Gods and the Lord of Light. They made a pact to defeat the Others and Bran chose to sacrifice himself. The Night King turns to the tree and though his face does not show it, his body stiffens with caution that would've been considered fear if he was a living being. This brief moment is enough to draw his attention away from Jon.
His body now bursting from heat enough to burn his armor, Jon rushes the Night King and in the brief moment it takes the Night King to move his pale blade to stop the human, the blade turns bright and starts to glow yellow. Blades clash, but ice is shattered and a flaming line splits the Great Other's body. His head attempts to shriek but Jon drives Lightbringer down the Great Enemy's head.
In a brief moment the air is filled with the cracking sound of ice and glass. Jon Snow looks around and save for the burning light of the old weirwood tree, the whole world is dark and silent. Soon enough the snowstorm ends, the black clouds part, the Moon and stars become clear and Jon finds himself alone and cold once more.
WHY the hell aren't you writing for HBO and s8? I'd have paid double to see your version
Basically, you only care about Jon. What about the other characters tho? So, this cannot be the “better” scripts

In my fantasies, I'm imagining HBO releasing a trailer for "the new season 7, the new season 8, and the final season, season 9" out of the blue to the surprise of all of us, and using this as the trailer music, with Davos' retained season 7 line "And then, it doesn't matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne" used at the end, right before the title card!
I was once mapping out a story for my own remake of season 8, and the Night King sitting on the Iron Throne is my dream ending!
This is great! I didn't think this song could be improved, but I think you guys did it. Also great cinematic with the ice.

I'm learning "The Night King" on piano and ... I'm really bad. I have not much musical talents so learning this song is really hard for me ... and now I want to learn this version too. A song needs to be damn good if I try to learn it even if it's so hard.

Imagine if Arya made the biggest sacrifice to save the day that allowed Jon to fight the Night King. Imagine that little sister who almost walked away from her family dying so that her bastard brother, her king, had the slightest opportunity to end the long night. Imagine if we saw her face as she took every step through the castle, dodging death, swift as a dear, quiet as a shadow, not even death could see her... not until she wanted it to.... and when she wanted death to see her, it would give Jon the chance to end the long night.
