- Since the moment she was introduced, Elysia was a very intriguing character for me. Friendly, yet elusive; seductive, yet distant; a good company, yet many secrets lie behind her smiles. Elysian Realm is the latest permanent game mode added to Honkai Impact 3rd, alongside the Abyss and Memorial Arena. The story of the 13 Flamechasers shapes up to be a very tragic one, focusing on the struggles of 13 people hellbent on defeating the Honkai and protecting humanity 'till the very end. Among all of them, to me, Elysia seems to be hiding the most secrets and has the most potential to have a great story. While playing the game mode and learning more and more about her, I felt the need to make a compilation of the most interesting fact about her that I have managed to find. The story of the Elysian Realm is still ongoing, and I cannot wait for miHoYo to reveal more secrets to us.
I would like to apologize to the all over the place pronunciation. The truth is that English is my third language, and I use it mostly in a written manner and have almost no experience of speaking it. Even when I record the audio for the videos, I have recorded it many times until it sounds ok. Due to me being extremely tired when recording the audio for this episode, I messed up the pronunciation of Elysia's name a couple of times. I apologize to anybody triggered by that. I'll try my best in the future to pronounced the names better.

Small Correction. Apparently, there were Judgment Class Honkai Beasts in the P.E. In one of the files for Mobius there is mention of one Judgement Class beast called Shesha. I am sorry for the wrong info! I'll be more careful in the future!

Oh, as someone who plays FGO, he definitely says something similar along the lines like that
Question now is are we talking about Merlin or the more chaotic Merlin
Elysia was the 13th herrscher. All the dialogues and recollections heavily implied that Elysia became a herrscher because what's more dangerous than an ordinary girl turned into herrscher? A flame-chaser turned into herrscher and the strongest flame-chaser to add, Kevin even acknowledge Elysia's strength and Mobius thinks that she's holding back when fighting against Kevin.
Kevin doesn't want to talk about Elysia's death because he's the one who killed her in herrscher form and was painful for him to do so while some called her "traitor". She made herself the focus of hate to unite humanity as to what she said to Prometheus that a leading actress(Elysia) will become a charming villain(herrscher) to unite humanity.

@@FakeTier Nah. Only Elysia says that. But in reality, Kevin thinks that Elysia was as strong as him if not the strongest and even Mobius thought that she was holding back against Kevin in one of her observations of Elysia.

I have a feeling elysia is the 13th herrscher bc mobius called her a traitor. Also as one of the strongest flame chasers to have defeated kalpas, how could she have just died like that while kevin survived

Ayy, this was very enjoyable to listen to, i'm sure a lot of people will discover something new about Ellie here, given the fragmental nature of ER content.
MHY was never subtle with their inspiration on Christianity for "the Honkai", so it's kind of suspect how many references to Jesus, Elysia has: she's described as loving humans as a whole, regardless of their characteristics, one currently unobtainable ER item is called the "Thorny Crown" and i'm 99% sure it's related to Elysia since she's currently the one Flame Chaser without a second dedicated item, and lastly (this one maybe a bit of a stretch) the fact that Elysia has a "ressurection" passive.
Also, one small correction: Judgment-class beasts DID indeed exist in the previous era, one of Mobius's episodes tell of a mission where Hua and Emile are tasked to retrieve the corpse of a beast named "Sesa", a serpent-like beast born during PE's 3rd Eruption, the mission report classified Sesa as a Judgment-class.

Also, thank you for the info! You are right. I just went back to check and apparently, there were Judgment Class Honkai Beasts in the P.E. I always thought they never existed until Chiyou emerged since they were never mentioned anywhere in the PE until now. Guess it was the first in the C.E, and its appearance was much earlier than anticipated due to Project: Ember. Anyway, I'll add an edit in the pinned comment. Thanks for letting me know! As you said, the information in ER is extremely fragmented so I am bound to miss out on some stuff, especially since I didn't dabble that much in the story of Mobius yet. I plan to do a facts video for her next, so inevitably I will soon.

After watching a few of your videos your lore and analysts is one of My favorites. I was afraid that the new project stigma was gonna be another naruto mugen tsokuyomi bullshit but it turned out to be way more complex and thought provoking like the stigma video you made.
The Griseo as God of tevat makes alot of sense because every character in the know of genshin thinks they are in a cage. And you know what Griseo's self portrait is literally her being the cage protecting the bird inside.
And this video is the icing on the cake, for our dear Elysia being Humanity's Herrscher.

Probably she ran out of hair die and the honkai offered her an end of the world deal.
- Well, as revealed later, Elysia was not a traitor per se, but she (or better, her avatar on Elysian Realm) was corrupted by the Herrscher of Corruption. One of the personalities of Vill-V was responsible by this. Ironically or not, Kevin becomes a traitor to Humanity as well, but was defeated by Kiana, Mei and Bronya. Elysia on her turn was transformed on the Herrscher of Humanity, reinforcing her love for all Humanity. She is pure love!
- Griseo is another Flame Chaser that is alive. She was aboard an space ship for centuries, living all alone on the board of Solar System and was o stasis for a long time, until was found by Fu Hua. This turns possible that Elysia can be alive too (even on an Alternate Reality, as some of Theresa's versions).
- The continent of Mu IS NOT Atlantis, even on legends; Mu was (supposedly) on the Indian Sea, at the south of Asia and north of Oceania, while Atlantis was (supposedly) on the Atlantic Sea. Some legends says that Mu habitants and atlanteans new each other and both were rivals, and their war was responsible for sink both continents.
- The "strange habits" of Elysia seems to be only a matter of personal style; Elysia is very vain and she loves to be pretty (there's even a video of her showing how to do her makeup!)
- Theory: I think the Vipralopat that was fused to Elysia could be one called/inspired on Shiva, the hindi deit; many HB have names (and even some aspects) that reminds some hindi deits, like Ganesha (that is an elefant-like). Shiva, on Hindi religion, is a god with many aspects that reminds Elysia: his love for the world, the possibility to turn into a destroyer and the bow and arrow as main weapon. I think maybe MiHoyo had this idea when concepted Elysia's background, but they did not explored this further.

Hard to say. I think that he physically died. Since he fell into the Sea of Quanta and it is said that the Sea will disintegrate anything into data, but his consciousness was transported to a higher dimension. It was never fully explained.
