Except glossing over how white collar hijackers could anticipate and bring equipment for a vampire attack, meanwhile not being able to account for a regular bomb. Not to mention how every movie that's actually been successful, like Twilight, no character has ever even heard of the concept of a vampire.

From what I’ve heard from other people is that the medicine is actually a chemotherapy drug, which probably explains why Nadia loses her hair while none of the other vampires do, and connects back to the whole idea of it being a blood disease.
*Edit* Apparently the drug is identified in the movie as Cytarabine, which is a chemotherapy drug that is used to treat leukemia, ie Blood Cancer. This definitely connects back to the concept of Vampirism being a blood disease and also explains why Nadja looks like Nosferatu, while the other Vampires, while monsterous, do not, as the side effects of cytarabine include hair loss and pale skin.

The idea is that a person could love their child but be so messed up with drugs or alcohol that they harm that child or at the very least can't take care of that child. Their drug craving or alcoholism is so strong that they put that before their child. (I've seen women swear they love their kid so much but to get them back from Children's Services/ Foster care they'd have to stop using drugs and they either can't or won't. What I really liked about this movie is that everyone is actually shown to be really smart. Like the vampire mom does so many smart things like burning the pyscho guy inside the bulletproof car. The pyscho guy was relatively smart as well, figuring out really fast she was a vampire and making a stake and uv light. I thought it was nice that no one here did anything stupid, besides the kid at the beginning causing his mom to get shot.

Everyone that loves dogs, and has lived with them in their lives has been thru this.
That certainly doesn't make it easy. It is by far one of the saddest things you'll go thru in life. We also have to say goodbye to our parents at some point.
There's no guide book or anything that'll help us. You've just gotta deal with it and go on. It sucks. It sucks so very, very much.
I'm so sorry you lost your dog. I know how hard it is. Only time can heal you, but even then it's not a complete healing. You'll always have memories you don't want to have.
I hope you adopt another dog one day. There's one out there that could really use your help. That needs saving.
      Good luck.

There was a made for tv movie I think it was called Stake Land and it was pretty depressing seeing the aftermath of a vampire rising. It was a bit like several seasons of the Walking Dead smushed together. Like for instance the protagonist raising a kid whose parents were killed and running into a cult of human survivors who think the vamps are a curse from God for their wickedness and they must sacrifice people to placate God. And they run into other kinds of survivors etc.

I oddly enough like it, especially the fact that the main vampire was an innocent woman and the fact she didn’t let it entirely consume her and still loved and protected her son first and foremost, kind of was expected her to go full beast mode and bite him but obviously never did. Plus a villain who’s weirdly genre savvy and takes a supernatural threat seriously, even though short of being a clairvoyant shouldn’t really have known what to look for unless it’s explained in the meta he’s aware of supernatural forces and has done research.
