In the Madden 17 Franchise Mode series with the San Diego Chargers I am rebuilding the Chargers with new players in the draft, as well as with a brand new stadium. We play every game of the season and see how the years unfold. We will meet new players and see the team change and improve from one season to the next. This is essentially a career mode for an owner, as I attempt to make the Chargers a profitable championship team.

Tonight I'm going to be streaming, around 6-7pm central time. I've talked about doing some streaming series this year, and tonight I'm starting a Madden 17 Fantasy Draft Franchise series. I'm not sure yet if it will go past the first season, but this is part of me wanting to do some new things this year. The way I draft my team should be interesting. We'll see how it goes later tonight. The stream will be here on my channel, and I assume most of my streaming will be on CZcams moving forward.
MrHurriicane looking forward to it!
MrHurriicane the real draft?
MrHurriicane YESSSSSSS
streaming on youtube seems to be the way to go. keeps your audience concentrated a little better.
Twitch might be better because in my experiences it's better on twitch for people because there's a weird error on youtube right now
Great to see Barry Nsekhe close out the game like we saw so many times last year ! Tough to see Hartman go down though
I'm glad to see Barry back in action. That's the powerback I remember.
Don't let this win distract you from the fact that the seahawks destroyed the Broncos with Johnny manziel at qb
Speaking of checking on players... How's Gooch doing in Miami?
YAAASSSSS
Nsekhe TD was nice to see. Also cool to see Tiger Woods coaching for the Rams.
It's a miracle that Phillip rivers hasn't been injured taking all those hits
Sanderson deserves the back up gig!
Gotta love the AI. Down two scores with only half a quarter left? Let's punt! The ensuing TD is what the Rams deserved.
DolFan316 EA needs to fix the AI on both this and on NHL 17
So a 59 off QB plays better than an 82 ovr QB Jared Goff. Whatever Madden, whatever... But this game broke REALLY WIDE OPEN in the 4th. Maybe Nsekhe earned his touches back who knows. Maybe the O line likes him more 🤔😜. Pass rush was much better this game than last ones which may have made a difference in QB play, but still ridiculous.
If only Blake Bortles could do that 18TD/3INT statline in real life. Lol Great vid!
This is prob my fav game at least of this season, I finally felt like the qb accuracy for a lower overall qb (Goff) finally effected the game by throwing those 2 ints, then when Gordon wasn't doing well Barry n took over and did well which I think u should do more when someone can't get the job done, and again for all of those people wanting to trade Corey luiget just look at those stats tied for first in team sacks, and for everyone hating on this series right now because he is winning isn't exactly fair yes he chose a team that is better than other teams in previous years but things could have and still can change such as the rivers retire
I loved how the team looked out there. Excellent game.
A lot of pressure given up by the offensive line, which isn't surprising since it's a very inconsistent line that still needs some work against some of the best pass rushers in the NFL. And glad Nsheke is getting back to where he was last year. I think he earned his touches back. Defense was dominant as always, Perryman is gonna get payed big time.
Also, did anyone else see Hartman walking out on the field with Karl Klug at 19:58? He looks perfectly fine!
Wait a minute!!! That's...that's Barry Nsekhe's music!!! *HE'S BACK!!! THE CLOSER IS BACK!!! BUSINESS IS ABOUT TO PICK UP!!!*
The running backs are getting all the touchdowns and I will be watching the stream
Well this performance from Goff is all too familiar.
My boy Barry Nsekhe does it again.
Best franchise on CZcams honestly, best channel, keep up the work I've been following your franchise since the rams in madden 25!
Back in season one Travis Benjamin would do the same thing he did at the end of the first half.
J-Stew wearing 36 is just weird lol
This is definitely not one of your best franchises at all because from the start I knew pretty much every year the chargers would have a winning record because the only reason they do bad is because irl everyone on the team gets hurt all the time.
I don't know why you still have Urban. The dude couldn't hit the bright side of a barn all last season and this preseason. Sanderson looked so much more starter ready than Urban last preseason and this one. Swap the Sandman and Urban and have Frank as the backup.
I really enjoyed watching this episode of the series. I really like watching Madden 17 Franchise series on CZcams and think you are doin a good job with this series. I'm excited for this series and can't wait for the next episode. #KeepThisSeriesGoing
Travis Benjamin really wants a new contract
for those who say gordan isnt good because he is a big play back meaning he'll hv like 20 carries and 60 yards and then he'll break off a long run improving is yards per carry to like 5... thats what most running backs do. even ezekiel elliott does it... he'll just have a bit more big plays. its called wear and tear for a defens you run at them constantly so that there tired and make mistakes... then when they make one you'll break off a big run
I wish I could find a girl who was as loyal as Cane is to Nsekhe
What are you talking about? He's basically had him benched for most of the year.
MrSuperBacon I wish I could find a girl who is as loyal as Cane is to Gordon. He acts like Gordon plays well when in reality he's extremely inconsistent at best
MrLawyer Snoots I agree. Gordon is a big play back. He'll have 19 carries for 60 yards and then pull of a 40 yard TD bumping his y/c to 5
That kind of loyalty is what leads to people being stuck in unhappy marriages for 30 years.
Beating Bradley Fletcher deep for a TD, come on Cane, you know thats cheating because its automatic. lol
Cory Luiget was living in the Rams backfield today also.
psst, Zach Bogan leads the team with 10 broken tackles on just 11 attempts. When he returns he needs to start seeing the ball a lot more.
Good win but that protection was your biggest weakness
So Hartmann got injured for 4 weeks. So how is he on the field for the celebration at 19:58?
I like it , these are coming fast
Is there anywhere i could go to check out current sliders for this series?
another great video cane
Nsekhe needs more touches. You've got to do a better job of helping your offense when they're giving up pressure. Quick passes and you need to keep backs in sometimes. A lot of improvement still needs to happen.
straight savage
i forgot do you have a qb on your practice squad cause it might be good to have one with hartman out
what are the sliders you have been using
Up the difficulty
Did Khalil Mack have 15 sacks through 6 weeks? That's like 2.5 per game!
The d is very good on 3rd down
Watching this I have to ask: do you use slide protection?
Can't wait till rivers gets hurt tbh
like the stadium
I like how Rams stadium is the crappy looking Futuristic one
WAIT A MINUTE. COLE HARTMANN. If your hip is injured why are you celebrating at 19:58? I'm calling shenanigans rookie...
Nearing the end of the first and seriously questioning why you still use Gordon when other RB's are playing a whole lot better
What stadium was that?
BTW I love how the vast majority of commentors were begging Cane to do the Chargers, then when he does people turn around and complain about it 🙄
You ever considered throwing Keenan Allen on the trade block or doing a manual trade? Who knows you may be able to get a decent offensive lineman out of it, or at the very least a good draft pick.
W!
Thank God the Pats lost. I wouldn't have been able to handle seeing them be unbeaten for much longer.
Dropoff-Goff lol😂
Goff-Drops Picked-off lmao
Being Panthers die-hard, it was so conflicting watching Stewart :-(
If there's a week where you find an interesting player scouting, will you show it?
Can you show the roster
And isn't Reggie 6 foot 5 that's pretty tall for the NFL so even if he doesn't beat the CB still take some chances to him
Melvin Gordon needs to GO. Idk why Cane loves him so much. The guy is extremely inconsistent. He gets one big run a game if he's lucky, and that normally comes when the game is already out of reach. If Cane seriously hands Gordon a new contract he will regret it.
Also, like others have said the series is so predictable now. I'd say there's a 95% chance Cane wins the Super Bowl this season, and then I bet you Rivers doesn't retire after this year so we still don't get to see Hartmann.
Man these sliders are way too easy the series isn't even interesting anymore like past series.. I remember where I used to look forward to these games for the unpredictability, but I'm more surprised if u actually lose a gams
He's picking teams that are too close to being great. Panthers was like this too, but that was probably worse, tbh. If he actually wants to rebuild a team again (like Jags), he needs to pick a team that actually needs a full rebuild, like the Browns or Bills or something. The Chargers just needed a better O-line and they were good to go. Irl their biggest weakness is probably their coaching and front office, not their talent.
i agree. thats why his kalispell dynasty is better, he actually has to build a team up. even with the jags last year, he had a great draft and it was easy after the first year. i hope next year he picks the 49ers, a team that has nothing
Jaguars were a full rebuild
How big is Hartmann? He looks tiny compared to Rivers
I'm sorry but i'm tired of seeing blowouts. Yes this is good team but their not deserving of 5-1 record. The line is abysmal, the run game is nonexistent, and Rivers is playing like his age would suggest. The injury slider is also too high almost every week the opposing team key players are out. I love this series but it feels too easy for a team that struggles on offense so badly to then blowout teams. Once again i'm not hating just frustrated with these boring games.
same here.
seahawk97838 Right but this team has a very dominant front seven that really controls the game via field position. Run game is abysmal but the receiving core has a lot of explosiveness so Rivers just has to get it out quick to those play makers and we see results like this game. A short quick passing game really picks up the slack for a lack of run game. The defense gives them a lot of short fields which really is the key here.
Blue Bloods S07E16Very true. Thank for not being a d*ck like others would be.
seahawk97838 I don't know why people are lol fun to just talk football
The injury slider is a problem. I've lowered it and thankfully next game is better. I feel the same way about all the dominance, although this team is very good a few key areas that make these games possible.
7:05 not even gonna try to pronounce that name
offseason oline should be a priority
HOW is Gordon averaging *5 YARDS PER CARRY* for the season?!?! 😲 I demand a recount!!
DolFan316 those big runs pad his stats so much lol. Without those, just like this game he's a non-factor
Nsekhe and Bogan will be just fine for next season, Gordon has to go.
Also, Nsekhe's YPC is still better 😁
get Sheppard the ball
Honestly yu need to trade Melvin Gordon
kiiingX Savage it's the line, not Gordon
ThunderHDz Not worth resigning him I don't think after this season even if it's not his fault. Put more money into the line and get a running back to develop. Nseke would be interesting with a good line. Could be a punishing run offense.
ThunderHDz he seems slower than the rest of the backs the only touchdown he really gets is by the goal line
ThunderHDz and plus Nseke and procie always end up getting out the line but gordon rarely does
Gordon sucks because Cane runs him straight up the center's ass and never uses his power moves
Now why did Goff play like this, but a 59 OVR QB played like Brady and Marino combined? Makes ZERO sense.
why isn't shawn oakman on madden 17?
10
use Whittaker more please
5
U have had Reggie Shepard open all the time on those deep streaks and u don't throw it to him I'm not trying I be a hater or something but u need to throw to him when he's open
please let Harmon withtaker return punts ands kicks
Update your sliders. The patch changed to much.

I really hate the pink undershirts (has anyone ever worn them?) I really hope they are out of the game next year
Aidan O'Keeffe it's for breast cancer awareness month so yeah people wear them.
yeah but people in the nil never wear the pink sleeves like the ones Jared Goff was wearing I've never seen them worn and they're just offsetting and they should be removed
madden goes overboard with it though. irl the players barely wear any pink anymore (they did when they first started this in like 2011 or whenever it was) but since then they have scaled it back, but it seems like madden didn't get the memo
Play Gumms more
You playing on rookie
psst, Zach Bogan leads the team with 10 broken tackles on just 11 attempts. When he returns he needs to start seeing the ball a lot more.
