That was some Forest team we beat that day.
A few things that will never happen again on display hear. Both Albion and forest had fabulous teams, the FA Cup was a major competition that everyone wanted to win, players playing their hearts out for the club, seething masses of supporters on the terraces, atmosphere in the ground.
It was real in those days.
I was there what a match and two teams with superb players don't think we will ever see players as good as that again
Players are technically better now but a lot of the soul has gone out of the game.
Yes, I was in my usual spot in the Brummie Road. Used get that bloody camera stuck right in the middle whenever a match was televised. Fabulous days! Never see the like again!
That was a great Albion side! Should have won some trophies.

Cyril Regis! He was spotted playing for Hayes by Ronnie Allen. The price was £5,000 and the Albion board wouldn't put up the money so Allen paid for Regis himself. With a board like that it's little wonder we've won nothing since 1968.
