  • Another aftermarket mod done in the street in the late fall. Wasn't difficult at all. You get to see the installation from start to finish. I don't have a lot of tools or a garage so if I can do this in the street you can as well. All you will need is a 11mm and 13 MM socket and extension and a T25 Torx bit or wrench some loctite and something like 30 minutes of time. I'll tell you now that this thing works!!!!! I got mine from SlingMods (paid my own money) now lamonster garage makes one as well. The installation should be almost the same as well as the OEM one. If you are like me and you get a severe vibration when trike is under load or around 60 MPH this might just solve your problem or at least not make things worse. Sorry for the voiceover but the original audio was useless, I did add a little background music as the silence when I'm not talking is kinda unnerving.I honestly don't know what tensioner is the best right now I only know that his one works. Hope you find it helpful.

Excellent work. Fellow New Yorker here and Ryker Rally owner, been thinking about also purchasing a F3T so me and the wife can do some touring.. Your video provides useful info if I’m gonna be a future Spyder owner. Thanks and continue with the good videos and safe travels.

I’m glad you found it helpful. I have both and they definitely fill different needs. The F3T is a good cruiser compromise between the Ryker and the RT. Have fun on your travels and maybe your paths will cross one day. Ride safe.

Excellent video and instructions - thank you so much! CanAm's instructions do not touch on any of the little nuances when installing: taking the seat off, the bottom push pin under the bag, the push pin with the rubber washer, and open the hood to pop up that little piece. Best video out there for this from start to finish!

Hey thanks I’m glad you found it helpful. While it does help a good shop will get that belt properly tensioned.

@@SIRyker - Yes, thank you! We've tried a number of things. Got this installed and it absolutely does help quite a bit!

And you never will know if the tensioner worked, get a (LaMonster Garage Tensioner) has double bearings in it and are bigger bearings , it eliminates the vibration ...

Mine seems to be working might change it next year. I don’t think any of them last that long.
