men i swear i played it today pes18 is fucking sick fun to play fifa is done.
Defending in this game above superstar is shite, completely irrelevant
Low sound in the Ultimate Stage. Konami messed up. Really wanted the speakers to blow up when a team scores a goal there. Oh well.
The gameplay got sped up compared to the demo. The demo had the perfect pace..Konami always speeds up the final product..don't know why
vinson chunikiah try -1 offline... but online is this speed.
The speed of demo is -1 ... I playing in +2 is my favorite. :)
When you upload in higher definition content, the mire frames makes it look faster than it actually is... I'm no scientist and I don't know how to explain exactly why
back then Pes5 is stupidly fast in PC, then Pes6 has a really slow game play
please try to change the setting of the game speed
I played Master League with Man Utd on Legend and I had to play 5 at the back and with 2 defensice midfielders infront of the CB`s to try and not concede to many goals. My best season I finished 9th place with 13win 13lost and 12draws. Legend is difficult, but really fun once you start to figure it out a little bit.
Is there anyway to have your team not defend like complete clueless morons?? Every game i've played i have conceded from the CPU playing the ball over the top and my back line is all over the place, some push forward, while others stay back, giving the CPU team huge gaps to run into (and sometimes, even just stand still in, completely alone and onside)..
I've tried playing a high line, deep line, man marking, tight marking.. everything. But the CPU just lofts it over the top to their team mates in miles of space, completely free to shoot at goal.
Defending was my best attribute in 2017, so i know how to defend.
The defensive AI for your team is completely broken in this game!!

Chris Kendall change advanced tactics. Its hard for me to explain in english, sorry... but L2 + digital pad you can activate or not the 4 advanced tactics according to the match... and activate the marking... for example Brasil against argentina, marking Marcelo-messi and dissable offensive sides... things like that... touching the tactics are basic in Pes.
Foreverandafter got nothing to do with that, simple cpu decisions are not made. There's always a man in miles of space on the wing and any diagonal balls over the top into the box are missed by defenders. The game has some massive defensive issues, the biggest being with the impossible way to defend against skills. The players never time them and the AI are in behind in seconds or the simply don't track the runs
Foreverandafter .. I'm an experienced PES player and defending is what I am best at on 2017.. I know how to use advanced tactics and I've tried the 'defensive' tactic, man marking, tight marking.. it makes no difference.. the AI is a programming issue..
What I think has happened, is everyone asked Konami to make the game harder, which it needed, and they've done so by dumbing down your defenders.
Regardless of what tactics I use, the defender are all over the place.. I have so many occasions when one of my defenders is standing 3-5 metres behind the rest of the backline, giving the opposition huge holes to run into and stay onside with loads of time and space to himself. It happens all the time.
It's a serious issue which needs to be address by Konami. It's making the game unplayable.
LiamNorgate95 .. exactly, whenever the CPU opponent is ready to play a ball over the top, some of your defenders push forward while one stays 3-5 metres behind them, ensuring there is a large gap for their striker to run into unopposed. It happens throughout the game. This wasn't an issue in 2017.. and it doesn't seem to be an issue for their defense, only your defense. The backline has no ability to read the game and their line (instead of being straight) is all over the place.
That beauty of a goal has just earned you a like, a subscribe, and an undying admiration and respect from me. Simply Superb!
Tomorrow I will try to win 5 matches in superstar and try this new difficulty... it looks good.

I've never played pes so correct me if I'm wrong, but interceptions look as horrendous as they are on fifa. Players standing 2 feet from the line of the pass and just staring at the ball.
As a Fifa player since 2005 its great to have something different, even in the commentary. Time for a switch. PES ftw
Nice. My biggest win against legend is 4:1 Real Madrid against Liverpool, I used possession game (high pressing) and long pass
Playing against FCB on legendary without advanced tactics: absolutely brutal
THAT GOAL WAS ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY CHIP !! WELL PLAYED MATE
The game seems good but they should make the AI to make smarter subs depending if they are winning or losing, not to remove your best player of the pitch - Messi, instead they should lets say bring Arda Turan instead of Pique. It would be very nice if Konami do this and also it should be a little bit harded to defeat Lenendary. BTW i like the game i just want it to improve.
Gaming Master I think it's programmed like they remove the players who have less stamina and who are in mid field and striker position.. they never remove defenders
Why does everyone hate the live broadcast camera angle?? its the best with the current graphics.
you can easily adapt to that.. and it makes the matches waaay more realistic.. think master league... remember that classic PES player line "you feel the need to celebrate after scoring a goal" .. well it applies way more when you play with this angle.
Finally good difficulty. The last game was too easy
I just unlocked legend mode todayand won 1 out of about 10 tries. I only played a 5 minute game and won 2-0 against bucaresti

Its beatable but the players get a huge stat boost which kills the emrsion and realism.

I can defeat it this level but dont feel entertained at all because it is not fair. Everything you can rely on is luck.
Leon Hoang exactly what I'm saying. On legend difficulty the ai especially barca just have every single avenue marked or cut out. They block and win everything and put constant pressure for 90 minutes. They rarely make mistakes, they win every fucking rebound and second ball. I feel like to beat them you need everything to go your way which is. 1/99 chance and that is quite frankly ridiculous.
I think some human players r better than this difficulty because u can get used to it with time and they r harder to predict

Every PES 18 game I have played/seen has the same massive problem- there is way, way to much space all over the pitch, other things to consider is the seriously crap commentary and no matter how much you ignore it, not having authentic stadiums is a big issue and rightly so for many people, have always loved PES but for me this year and it pains me to say it but I much prefer FIFA.
