They're both masterful at deadpan, and Jane is amazing at setting up Lily's dry humor.
Lily Tomlin's story about working as an usherette and being confronted with social norms of the time is positively sublime. She is one sharp cookie!

The chemistry is untouchable. These ladies are fantastic I watched grace and Frankie 3 times.and it’s a series. And there timing and chemistry is straight out of Lucy and Ethel!! And that’s saying something ❤❤

So Cool to see them at that age still going strong, I'm 64, had a couple beers before my dinner then went to see my horses where I board. I was so relaxed and happy but the young 20 something girl who owned the place with her siblings called me an Old Drunk! I said you will be damn lucky to make it this far. I never had such disrespect for older people. So Seeing these two is FANTASTIC!

I've always loved these 2. They've literally been around my whole life. I have fond memories of watching their movies and doing Jane's workouts with my mom. National treasures!
I like how Jane is always so 'appropiate ' and direct and Lily gives the same message with dry humour. Smart witty people - that's what I always like.
These two are just as much of a dynamic duo as Matthau and Lemmon were.

I love them. It saddens me that they have done so much and inspired others to give us the rights we deserve, and now, we have WOMEN trying to roll back a lot of our rights. Is a terrible thing to see women tear down more women, for women to still believe that we are nothing other than child bearing vessels.

It seemed that it started with her "Michigan? Detroit?" question, and then Lily and Stephen more or less teasing her, and maybe it put her off for the rest of the segment. That's how it appeared to me anyway.

I felt like I was sitting in their living room. It was so comfortable, and they articulated their formative feminist experiences so well. I related to that and appreciate how they put words to such a common experience. ❤️ I'm grateful to them and just want to give them a hug. I will definitely go see them in theaters! I also just signed my divorce papers from an "undemocratic" marriage to an angry, controling man. It's the most liberating thing! Onwards and upwards, Jane! 🖕🏽🖕🏽🖕🏽
