Toys...lots of toys.
Tony: Toys and video games are for children
Also Tony: This Sentinel is amazing!
Another great episode, guys!
We really appreciate all your support!
Matrix toys. The toys that make you go, “Whoa.” I started collecting the figures from the first one. Just need to get the 12” ones. I missed out on the McFarlane ones for Reloaded and Revolutions. They’re pretty cool. Can’t wait to see this episode
We focused a lot of the figures from the later movies.
Always nice seeing Tony here too. Cheers guys!
Thanks for checking out the episode! It's always a pleasure to have Tony on the show.
Oh man, I love these figures so much. I've got the whole set, and a few of them I bought back in high school when they originally came out. Fun video!
Also, all of the Tarantino figure stuff you guys mentioned was NECA, who also made more statuesque stuff back then.
You are right about that stuff being Neca! Oops. You get in the moment and some times you make mistakes.
@@Pegwarmers Yeah no worries! Just thought I'd mention it in case someone found it helpful. I remember going on a hunt for those a few years ago and there was another line of RD figures (by Mezco, I think?) and it made online searching more interesting, haha.
I should have constructed my avatar with the beard and mustache similar like these two...right before I revealed myself to Neo.
- The Architect.
Great episode!
Thanks!!!
I bought most of the Matrix figures for a really good price when I got back into collecting, realized how trash the "figures" were so just collected them for their props and accessories. That Chateau playset is definitely one of the coolest and most versatile pieces from that line, great for toy photography.
Yeah, the displays look great!
Agreed, The weapons are so well detailed, as good as any line, even by todays standards
@@joescustoms8321 and the grips are small enough to fit in other 6" figure hands unlike a lot of the Spawn guns
Man, the McFarlane “statues” looked good…but I immediately tapped out of getting em. Even made my interest in the Movie Maniacs line wane.
Great episode as always!
That's ashame it hurt your interest in Movie Maniacs. Thanks for watching!
I kind of think the Cyberpunk video game stole a lot of the hype for the audiences that would want a new matrix.
Also mcfarlane made Cyberpunk game toys of Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. That are still available.
Where is the disco rd link?
Woah
interesting .....im a toy-collector myself...already subscribed to ur channel...
Did you just find us, but we're already subbed? The channel used to be SEO Toy Review. You may have subbed to that version of the channel.
I do love that Storm! where can you get that?
I bought her at Target.
That Storm is no longer a pegwarmer, she goes for a bit over retail again.
My biggest problem with the Matrix sequels isn't any particular weakness but the fact that they exist at all. Like my favorite movie (Highlander), I think the original wrote itself into such a sure, happy conclusion that it negated the possibility of a sequel. As far as I always took it, at the end of the first, Neo is in complete control of the Matrix. He could wipe out the agents, make it a utopia or wake everyone up if he wants because he is in control of the code. There is no threat.
Yeah, money for Movie Studios often result in unneeded sequels.
It's a good thing the toy industry isn't so cynical, but always based on what's best for the fans and consistent with the property.
HA! I had the original Matrix Action Figures by N2Toys...... Then McFarlane got the license around the time that he wanted to stir the "collector" market into Preposed Statues with a couple of cut joints.... HATED THIS FORMAT.... Around this time I was just collecting ToyBiz X-Men, Lord of The Rings and SOTA's Street Fighter figures since they were the only fully articulated characters.....
Yeah, this is some of points we touch on in the episode.
Tony doesn't like the "Eye Scream Man" IMAGINE MY SHOCK
Ha ha!
Half of this video's content is not about the matrix toys anyway.
Toys. Tapes. Tony.
What else could you want?
24 hours of Spawn and 98 Godzilla figures talk LoL
I wonder what the retention rate on that video would be?
Toys are for children
