- Kevin, Tony, and Ryan talk about Kenner's T2 toy line. Terminator 2 was the coolest action flick of the 90's, but why did it get a kids toy line?
Thanks to Tony from @HackTheMovies and Ryan from Monster FX (instagram: @Monster.FX ) for being a part of this episode.

This was such a nostalgia trip for me. I had most of these guys and the skin factory when i was a kid.
I absolutely loved them
The Skin Factory!
I loved these when they came out
Awesome episode! Kenner terminator is one of my favs!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I still have some of those figures. I was absessed with them and loved them.
Awesome!
That $10 dollar Ultimate Terminator would be sold today as $50 dollars.
I carried my battle damaged T-800 arnie everywhere i went those first few months. loved everything about T2.
That's great!
My twin brother and I had a few of these along with the Last Action Hero guys. I loved the Power Arm Arnold. We were so excited because now we had Arnold toys to recreate his other movies like The Running Man and Commando lol! It was awesome.
Classic!
I had a bunch of these as a kid and now as an adult I have the remakes that necca put out great video!
The Neca remakes look fantastic!
Loved this toyline, picked up a few of them cheap a few years ago for display.
They are good yardsale and toy show fodder.
Also I remember for years I would refer to the t 800 endoskeleton in the movies as "techno punch" because of that toy 😂
That's funny!
I'm pretty sure I still have both my battle damage and secret weapon figures. Back in the day, toys are toys, even if they weren't screen accurate.
Loved these toys as a kid
They are fun!
The motorcycle was frocking awesome! It had a rocket also! Terminator and the fricking rockets!
Too bad we didn't have the bike.
@@Pegwarmers deffo. Childhood ruined 😂
I always wanted these
They are cool!
I only remember seeing the Secret Weapon Terminator at Toys'R'Us and wanting it so badly. Parents wouldn't let me have it.
So he was harder to find in your experience?
The NECA version of the Power arm Terminator is awesome I have it somewhere I also had it as a kid it was the only Terminator figure I had as a kid
They do some great updates!
My best friend from Middle School had several of these. We were mostly into playing with the Toy Biz X-Men figures, though. I specifically remember that power arm Terminator. If he still has these, at his parents house, it's probably yellowed and covered in an inch thick layer of nicotine.
I had the one with the blast away chest. Really wanted to get one of the endoskeletons, but my parents convinced me to get a dollar store Halloween skeleton and paint it silver instead. That would have satisfied me well enough, but my dad went the extra mile again and glued some old computer chips inside the rib cage to make it look more like a proper robot.
Love the story of home made toys.
Still have my John Connor figure w/ dirt bike after all these years .
Nice!
I got the first wave of T2 toys at the K-Mart in Warminster
Warminster! A local guy.
I just bought future war Kromium very charming toy:) ! Great video guys
Thanks for checking it out!
Thank you!
I have two techno punch terminators and I have no idea where they came from
Hmm... they are fun ones to have.
* while rummaging through toy collection *
Oh wow, this is a cool figure...but where did it come from?
But does the big Terminator figure have Arnold's voice from the movie? Or is it a hilariously awful sound alike ??
How'd you do the stop motion please instruct me would love to know been wanting to do that for years
That one was done on a camera that had a remote control that could allow the camera to record for a fraction of a second. Then move the toy and record again
I've also taken hundreds of photos and combined them in a video editor.
😂 I had all but the future war toys as a kid. Yeah, that "skin factory" thing never worked right and the thick motorcycle missile cop always confused me as a kid.
The Cop is pretty terrible.
should have been so much better, the toy line that is
Hey Junkman, thanks for stopping by. Love your content. Yeah, the line had a lot of potential.
in T2 Arnold didn't shoot his face and chest off to prove he is a machine to Dyson~ john gave him a blade and the T-800 peeled off the skin on his left arm and showed him his mechanical arm underneath~
Listen to me very carefully...
@@ghostchaser1631 idk whose channel is this~ am talking about the guy in the baseball cap he said "and arnold shot his chest and face off in the living room" and he/you mean T2 right?!
That.... was sarcasm. Hence the "very memorable scene" as in: not.
No Sarah figure
Girl action figures don't sell. (Is what the toy companies say)
Kenner makes great toys, gimmicky but creative...until the company was bought out
Hasbro, until all are one.
