Robert Patrick practiced not blinking when firing his gun and not breathing through his mouth when running. Made him so inhuman, great performance!
That’s like Ray Park playing Darth Maul. He blinked once when Obi-Wan cut him in half. Ray said he felt it made Maul more intimidating. He was correct.
not blinking when firing a gun is not easy.
@@kellymoses8566 I was about to say the same. That and keeping balance when firing a lot of shots in quick succession (moreso one-handed), if there was infact any recoil. I assume it's hard to know in some films.
In the mall scene where he's firing the pistol, you can see him flinching while firing...
@@kellymoses8566 You have obviously never used one, then.
Miles Dyson ranks very high on the "Best death scenes" List. He was so brave and heroic for a man thrust into such a situation.
His last breaths were so painful to watch. 😫
The actor had actually survived having a collapsed lung which is why his performance is so realistic. From an interview: "The reason that moment happened is, he got shot, and at first [James Cameron and I] couldn't find any real way to bring importance to his death," Morton said. "I told James I had been in a [car] accident a few years before where my lung collapsed, and showed him what the result of that was, and once I showed him that, that's what he decided to put in the movie, and it really did work. It was pretty special."
*it´s top knotch script writing combined with great acting when you care about a character that much with ca. 7 minutes of screen time.*
I’ve always appreciated how he doesn’t argue or resist when he’s told what he’s the cause of, he pretty quickly gets on board and agrees.
One of the greatest tragic characters in cinema. What if you could tell a man responsible for the greatest massacre in history to prevent it, what if he said yes without hesitation, what if he died for it.
Gave a whole different meaning to a dead man switch.
Fun fact:the camera crew refused to shoot the helicopter under the overpass scene because of obvious danger concerns, so the director James Cameron filmed it himself 😊
Waited for this comment. 🤘
Twice! That is some crazy stuff.
Tim is goated. He get's asked by the cops about his friend and doesn't grass him up. He's a real one.
Also, growing up I always thought it was bollocks that an artic could ever catch up to a car on the highway. In Europe most lorries are limited to around 56mph. But I recently spent time driving from Texas to Florida and I was overtaken on the highway by a truck doing 80mph so it makes a lot more sense now!
I just married a Brit and learned the word grass in this context recently. Same as dob him in. We jdont say either and just say narc.
@@zedwpd If there's one thing we do very well it's slang. The rest of the world needs to take note and catch up.
He watched John steal money from an ATM. Of course he wouldn't rat him out.

Gosh, it's so awesome to see a reaction of "Arnold bad guy." up until "get down". Every time I've watched it for funs, knowing Arnold is the protector instead of the Terminator...
Was checking comments to see if anyone else noticed this. The original trailer for the movie spoiled this actually. It was such a good twist too.
Fun Fact: The scene where you see the two Sarahs, near the end of the movie. One is actually Linda Hamilton's twin. I had no idea she had a twin until I saw the making of this film. INSANE!!!
RIP
My twin sister was/is an actress and I got to be her stand in a couple times and like me Linda’s sister isn’t an actress so I’m 100% sure she had fun lol
same with the security guard at the hospital.
@@Koyotee25 yup they were in gremlins 2 lol
It's funny. Nicholas Brendon (Xander in the TV show "Buffy the vampires slayer") also has a twin brother who appeared twice in the show.
Once as his evil double and the other one as Xander himself (because Nicholas Brendon was sick during one week of filming).
Perfect music + perfect cast + perfect special effects + perfect pacing + perfect action to comedy ratio + perfect script = perfect movie.
True Lies is my favorite Arnold movie, I think you would love it :)
I know why you like it so much! because of the sexy Tia Carrerre of course 😂 especially when she was trying to choke out Jamie in that car scene. who doesn't like a sexy Asian woman?? LOL!
Robert Patrick's audition vid was just 5 minutes of him staring into the camera _menacingly_
The smirk when he picks up the minigun is a "replica" of John's.
Also all the scenes of duplicates were shot with twins.
The cast also dedicated themselves. The T1000 actor trained at running with his mouth closed and almost caught the dirt bike in the parkade. "Sarah" did workout to become the boss she was in this movie, etc.
Also notice that the dialog helps explain the events. For example, John asking Arnie "Your not here to kill me..." and Arnie explains to John AND us that he was reprogrammed.
Robert Patrick DID catch the bike on the first take....
Above all the whole thing, my favorite scene with Sarah is where she holds Dr. Silberman hostage at the beginning of the breakout, Linda Hamilton DOMINATES the sequence, showing she's a legit badass. Until the T-800 shows up 😁
OK, simp...
@@Blutteufel Was that supposed to be some kind of a put down? For Linda Hamilton as buffed up and badass as she is for this movie you're goddam fucking right I'm a simp too.
I love that during the scene where the T1000 is chasing the bike, Robert Patrick was told to slow down cos he legitimately kept catching up with it. He used to be a track runner and is an absolute beast
This fact is always hilarious lol
WAS a beast. Man's 65 now, and unfortunately, time catches up with all men.
Those special effects were absolutely mind blowing on release, and it still holds up today. That's an incredible achievement
Indeed. Not only do they hold up they are outright better than 99% of effects in modern movies. Because they perfectly blend practical with CGI unlike today when most movies only use CGI.
The T1000 still looks and feels dazzling at times
@@Karadjanov Yes! Jim Cameron is a big believer in using practical effects whenever possible, using CGI when necessary, and making sure the two blend together as seamlessly as possible. (Well, I guess I should say he *was* a big believer - his Avatar movies are full of CGI. lol!)
@@Calamity_Jack Yeah.. I like Jim a lot but I really hate that he is putting so much effort into the Avatar movies. The first one was an overrated movie with amazing visuals that should have remained a "one and done" box office miracle but he decided to make it a franchise... I guess all great movie makers eventually loose their talent for good movies. I just think that Jim had it in him to make something special before descending to his current level..

They did indeed blow up that building. But more than it could be restored. It's basically just a big gasoline explosion, wit5h not much of a boom. Building still stands to this day.
They actually used a lot less CGI, than many people think. For example, the "naked" terminators in the beginning were all animatronics - controlled by people. CGI was still in its infancy, when the movie was made. So a lot of practical effects and miniatures.
and that's why it looks so good. It's the mix of practical and CGI
@@rodgerlang884 Done right, you can't tell the difference between the two. In fact, many believe that the skeleton terminators in the beginning of this movie, are CGI.
And just take Top Gun: Maverick, where they claim no CGI was used, but in fact mist of the movie is.
CGI was not as advanced as today but it was not exactly in it's infancy either. James used the latest advancements in CGI for this movie and developed new concepts as well. The effect not only hold up but are outright better than 99% of effects in modern movies. Because they perfectly blend practical with CGI unlike today when most movies only use CGI.
One of the greatest sequels ever. Up there with Empire Strikes Back, Rocky 2, Aliens, Return of the King, Endgame.
The Dark Knight
Gremlins 2
I think "get down" would have been the next "I am your father" if the trailers didn't spoil it.
"I love that reload". Arnold has said that it took him forever to master the one-handed reload. Said it was actually a lot harder than it looks.
Worth it though because it still looks cool as fuck.
@Rickhorse1 He also broke 1 or 2 of his fingers doing it at one point!
The first time I remember seeing that one-handed reload was when John Wayne did it in Stagecoach.
The reload is so awesome that the og resident evil 3 and the resident evil 4 remake game has the gun and reload in it 😀
Didn't john wayne do the same type of reload a rooster cogburn movie?@BigJoeEspo
True Lies (1994) - another fun Arnold/Cameron combo.
With that he she Jamie Lee Curtis
Eraser (1996) is an underrated Arnold classic, IMO. Really silly and campy in some parts, but loads of fun!
And True Lies (1994) is another great one directed by James Cameron.
I was 20 years old when T2 came out and I am so glad I saw it in the theaters. Prior to filming, Linda Hamilton spent three months in intense physical training with a former Israeli Special Forces commando; she could take apart and put back together a gun blindfolded. Robert Patrick, the actor who played the T-1000, went through the same physical training. For the blowing up of Cyberdyne, that was a real building. When this movie came out, a book was published about the making of T2. For Cyberdyne, they found a two-story building and built the facade of a third floor over the second and that is what they blew up in the movie.
What about Linda's twin sister, wouldn't she also need to go through the same physical training to still look like her for particular scenes?
T-1000 being in shocked by his frozen hand being broken off was funny lol and clever
I saw this in a theatre in Japan just after it came out and the whole cinema cheered when Sarah was revealed doing pull-ups on the upturned bed.
She was the perfect amount of jacked for this movie. Like lean and strong, but not big, so she'd be fast too. Bruce Lee strong.
Not true. Men have always hated strong female characters in the movies.

True Lies = Arnold, comedy and action. A must watch
Schwarzenneger in "Total Recall" is exceptional. That movie is not only fantastic sci-fi and big screen fun, but it also has a place in my sould because I spent years in Mexico City and it was filmed there and I recognize many of the locations.
Great reaction you two to this action/sci-fi classic sequel. This movie was so huge back in the day that it spawned multiple video games adaptations of it (many featuring the digitized voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger) for several platforms (including Arcade, Pinball, NES, SNES, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis/Maga Drive, Nintendo Game Boy, Sega Game Gear, Commodore 64, PC, Mac, etc)...Fairly recently the 'Arcade 1UP' company made a DIY home version of 'T2: The Arcade Game' that you can pick up at many fine retailers as well.
The Cyberdyne building was a real explosion. There's an office building that was going to be demolished so Cammeron bought it and blew it up!
"This war doesn't seem to be going well for humanity."
Funny you should say that, because the opening future war scene is actually the human resistance breaching Skynet's main facility to shut it down and take control of everything. It's literally humanity winning the last big battle, lol.
I loved "Tod's" line "Hey! Shut up you stupid piece of shit." Makes me laugh everytime.
I lived in California when they made this movie. (The Bay Area) They shot the office building explosion in Fremont CA. I got to watch it in person. They told the public ahead of time and let big crowds form, from a safe distance and watch the explosion. It was awesome. I couldn't wait for the movie to be released to watch the whole thing after that.
Commando… is a classic Arnold movie, very entertaining
32:15 Fun fact: The "somebody" that flew that helicopter was the guy who was told to get out. He's a Vietnam veteran who is known for his super risky stunts in movies like Predator, Scarface, Furious 7, Blade Runner, and this stunt, where he could have actually died.
That's smart. Army veterans are the most likely to perform dangerous stunts. With that being said, it was still pretty risky, so directors should avoid putting them in these 50/50 life-death scenarios.
One take of that stunt was already dangerous enough, but they did it twice. I wouldn’t. Well, then again, it’s not like John Landis was directing.
The cameraman refused to film the stunt because of the danger - he didn't want to film someone dying. So Cameron filmed it himself.
The building explosion was real
The Helicopter chase was real
The Truck chase and drop in the LA waterways was real
The bike jump down there was a stunt man and real
The behind the scenes special is really worth a watch James Cameron is a legendary director.
To be fair, the bike jumping down was on wires which were digitally painted out so "real" sort of...

Fun Fact: James Cameron was contacted by the FBI because of the nuke scene. They wanted to know where and how he acquired the knowledge to make it so realistic.
Kindergarten Cop for a light hearted Arnold flick!
Last Action Hero. Great Arnold actikn comedy with a fabulous soundtrack.

Terminator 2 is a really good classic. Thank you for your reactions to this and other films. You show a lot, you don't make exaggerated gestures, you don't stop every few seconds and you don't tell stories. In short, it's fun to watch with you! Greetings from Germany .
So, fun fact - Linda Hamilton has a twin sister. Practical effects fir the win! More Arnold...

😄👍
It's nuts what they could do on early 90s computers when you think of how little performance there were in CPUs back then (I had my first 33 mhz PC around that time). They were just so smart about it and pretty much developed superb tech for this movie.
Well, they did let them run for months to get a few seconds of CGI footage.
Linda Hamilton's switch from bad ass to frightened when she sees the T101 is one of my favorite bits of acting in any movie.
I can't remember exactly from the DVD bonus disc back in the 00's but I think Robert Patrick used to run Track & Field and at full sprint was able to keep up with the dirt bike in the parking lot to such an extent that James Cameron had to ask him to slow down but they worked together for the close up shots to show that the T-1000 wasn't breathing or got out of breath
One of the few sequels that improved in every aspect of the first movie... Soundtrack, Effects (Practical & CGI), Stunts. It's the movie every fan needed.
The story did not improve. Plus, they added a flaw. The T-1000 is not coated with living tissue. How did it teleport? T1 is the better movie.
It's great but there is a certain appeal of the tightness of T1, just lean and mean and showing what can be done with more imagination than budget.
@@TateorsomethingIts been explained how the T1000 travelled through time. Of course the story improved. T2 is superior.
Agree for the most part, with the exception of one bit of the soundtrack, the off kilter strange time signature rendition of the Terminator theme in the first movie is genuinely unsettling to the human ear, the cleaned up orchestral version used from this movie on (whilst quite beautiful in it's own right) really doesn't compare to the almost alien quality of the clanking cacophony from T1 which really just lets you know you are in for something strange and different. Eddy Furlong dirt biking while blasting Guns N Roses kind of makes up for it though lol
@peterlenham3180 are you speaking g of the flesh pods they used in The Sarah Connor Chronicles? If so, you can't saw they didn't create a flaw. They had to come up with something 17 years later to explain an obvious flaw they didn't see at the time. Also, explain how the story is improved. You can't just say things and expect people to just side with you
The dream sequence is pretty damn accurate. If you were in a certain zone, you’d combust and then get blown apart. Absolutely horrifying.
Yeah it is one of the better of movie examples of a nuclear explosion. First the (literally) blinding light that ignites and burns everything within its radius and then the shockwave that annihilates everything that wasn't first destroyed by the burning light.
Chilling stuff.
Well that's never actually been observed so it's impossible to be certain what happens. I doubt people would burn as shown here, more likely the soft tissue would evaporate instantly
It's rare to find someone who doesn't expect the twist at 9:30. Awesome.
he's seen it before, many times, nice acting though
The reactions of the streamers are priceless. Thanks guys!)

Great reaction to one of the greatest sequels of all time! This is the final chapter of the Terminator saga, and it nailed it, going out on a high note.
Some notes:
The man taking pictures while looked stunned in the mall is the same character (and actor) who was the police officer that Arnold took the police car from in his pursuit of Kyle and Sarah in the first movie. That's why he looks stunned: he knows who this guy is and he knows the damage and killing he was responsible for the last time he saw him. He's also the source of the current day photos the officers show Sarah in Pescadero. It's not mentioned or referred to in any editions, but it is an Easter Egg that a friend of mine showed me.
Robert Patrick trained so hard for this role as the T-1000. Training to fire a gun without the reflexive blink. Learning to run full speed only breathing through his nose, and he was fast enough a sprinter that he actually caught the dirt bike in the mall parking garage. All while being completely deadpan in his expression. He was so amazingly good and incredibly intimidating in this movie, as much as or even more so than Arnold, and that's saying something!
When the orderly licks Sarah in the hospital that was apparently one of the so-called catatonia tests done by unethical or sadistic orderlies according to an old friend of mine who had worked in a few psych hospitals in California back in the late 70s and early 80s. It wasn't unusual for patients to try to get an advantage by pretending to be catatonic, hoping that the staff would think that they were out of it and not pay much attention so they could try to escape, create havoc, or whatever. Licking someone's face was a mild way of testing, according to my friend. The more standard way of testing among the more brutal orderlies was what was called a cup check, basically hitting the person in the crotch as hard as they could with a broomstick or something like that (neither the tonfa, shown in the movie, or a police billyclub was standard equipment for orderlies when he was working in the field, so the evil jerks had to use other items like broomsticks, umbrellas, or knees). If they didn't react then they were catatonic. And, sometimes, the catatonic patients needed to be taken to the hospital due to the damage inflicted by whatever the orderly did causing ruptures or internal damage. Apparently one patient lost his testicles as it was several days before it was realized how badly he had been hurt. And, of course, no one ever knew how it happened. “He musta fallen, or done it to himself to try to get out of here.” My friend never missed that job. He told me that some people did things worse than that, but those stories don't need repeating.
There are two sets of twins in this movie. One set are the brothers who played the security guard at Pescadero and the T-1000 imitating him. The other set are Linda Hamilton and her twin sister Lesley who played the other Sarah in the sequences like the nightmare where there are two of her are in the same scene. Lesley, a nurse in real life, passed away a few years ago.
There was a scene of the T-101 learning to smile and failing miserably that was cut from the theater edition cos it doesn't add anything of value to the story, but it does lead to a point that amused me once I saw it. After the failure copying a young man's smile unsuccessfully, the Terminator begins copying John's mannerisms and his one sided half smirk smile. This is best seen in the exchange after he hefts the minigun in Sarah's arms bunker and with the "Trust me." at Cyberdyne.
I remember learning that Cameron got a letter from a group of scientists congratulating him for the most realistic depiction of a nuclear detonation in a city in Sarah's nightmare. This horrified him since he was just trying to create the most over the top terrifying image he could, only to discover that it was accurate.
Luckily, Sarah stepped back from Terminator mode before killing Dyson, which is good. Killing Dyson wouldn't have changed much of anything anyway. Cyberdyne still would have had the parts, all his notes, and everything they needed to complete the project. Judgment Day would have come, just on a different day other than Michael Jackson's (and my little sister's) birthday. The excellent Joe Morton, who played Dyson, had an accident that punctured one of his lungs when he was younger, so he knew firsthand how Dyson should be breathing/gasping at the end.
And, when you get right down to it, the biggest damn hero in this movie was Miles Dyson. When faced with the reality of what his creation will be used for he changes from dispassionate scientist and loyal company man to willing participant who willingly sacrifices his life for the future. He's even more heroic in that he gives the SWAT team who have mortally wounded him the chance to escape and save their lives. Miles Dyson was the epitome of a good man.
The extended edition had two advantages over the standard edition. Though it wasn't obvious in its performance, the continuous damage the T-1000 was taking from every shot that hit it and every impact was affecting it. It is most obvious at the scene in the smelting plant after being shattered when, as shown in the theater release, its feet tended to take on the aspect of the flooring as it walked and, in the extended edition, when it grabbed a railing its hand mimicked the paint job on the railing. Also, in the extended edition, at the final scene when Sarah is calling out for John, John looks down and sees that the fake Sarah's feet look like the ironwork that the T-1000 is standing on and he knows for sure which to trust.
The extended edition variant ending is also superior (to me) for one more reason: it ends with older Sarah sitting on a playground bench and watching her adult son playing with her granddaughter, meaning that this Terminator movie is absolutely the end of the franchise, and all the movies that steal the name of the series after this are just lame cash grabs and can and should be avoided like the plague, in my opinion.
And, yeah, after spending all of the first movie waiting for Arnold's Terminator to just fricking DIE already, it was a weird feeling to be hoping that he would survive. But even if he hadn't gone into the smelter he wouldn't have lasted too much longer anyway. His main power source had been destroyed, and the secondary likely wouldn't have kept him functioning for too much longer, especially after all the damage he had taken. But that last thumbs up made me choke up when I first saw it, and still does.
The best Arnold movies are T1 and T2, Predator, Total Recall and True lies.
If you get through those there are other good ones: Commando, The Running Man, Conan The Barbarian, Kindergarten Cop, Last Action Hero.
In my opinion, True Lies is Arnie's best movie. Also directed by James Cameron.
The original theatrical trailer gave away the twist. Luckily I saw the movie before I saw the trailer.
The scene at the beginning was shot in a facility with physical objects, then the digital effects like lasers were added later. Everything was done with necessity. & the early 90's was a special time of quality, wonder, goodness - it was golden. Probably could say: The Golden Era. I mean THE Golden Era.
Fun fact: Robert Patrick actually pass through the grille door. Cameron was so impressed and decided to keep this scene in movie.
Great reaction guys to one of the best sequels ever This movie has some of the best action ever
After 33 years, it's safe to say that this is the movie with the best aging special effects ever made. Even today, it's still very impressive.
For fun, on your own time, you should check out Arnie's first film. It's 'Hercules in New York', from 1969, when he was 22. Originally his voiced was dubbed, but the DVD has the undubbed version, with his heavy Austrian accent. You'll see how far he's come.
Has anyone watched Cactus Jack (or The Villain) from 1979? This time Arnold stars in a comedy western.

The T1000s noise at the end is the same noise Cameron used for the Alien queen in Aliens
Something I didn't notice for the longest time: Arnold's Terminator started copying John Connor's wry, lopsided grin. Wonderful little detail, and it took multiple viewings over the years for me to see.
That , and when John is talking to him the T-800 is sitting slightly hunched and more relaxed like a human
Okay, you got it... my recommendation for the next Arnold movie is "TRUE LIES" (1994). Serious action scenes, a truckload of humor, and a stellar cast. It's white knuckle laughs all the way, you will love it.
John’s foster mom is played by Jeanette Goldstein. It’s hard to see it immediately, but she was also in ‘Aliens’ as Pvt. Vasquez and the Irish mother putting her children to bed as the ship was sinking in ‘Titanic’.
Here is some T2 trivia. Billy Idol was supposed to play the T-1000 Terminator. He lost the role because he was in a motorcycle accident in 1990.
Cameron: "How big of a budget can we get for T2?"
Studio: "Yes."
As far as Arnold movies go, I would consider True Lies as peak Arnie. And Last Action Hero is a really fun classic as well.
Baby Edward Furlong is so adorable here. 😂
John's foster mother was played by Jenette Goldstein who was Private Vasquez in Aliens.
A connection between The Terminator and T2 that most don't notice. In The Terminator Arnold runs over a toy semi-truck. The truck that the T-1000 takes to chase John is painted exactly like the toy truck from the first movie.
Arnold won the price for the best bad guy in a movie as T-800 and later won a price for being the best good guy as T-800.
little bit of trivia, Guns N Roses sang You Could Be Mine for the movie, the music video even has T2 incorporated into it and as a little hidden cross-promotion, the shotgun Arnie has is hidden in a box of roses. Gun and roses!

1. Linda Hamilton should have been at least an Acadamy Award for best actress.
2. My guess is that stove is hot🧐
3. We have limited AI now, so does China.😱😱
4. Arnold did many, but not all of his own stunts in this movie, including riding the motorcycle. At one point he was injured, and they had to stop production for a couple of weeks so he could recover.
5. Arnold is not left-handed, but the way he works that shotgun is impressive
6. The twin security guards also play in "Good Morning Vietnam".
7. GOOF: Enrique's dogs don't respond to "Uncle Bob" as a Terminator.
8. "I need a vacation" was ad lib.
9. This is the action movie GOAT.🤩
I still find it amazing that this movie released only 7 years after the first one. The jump in special effects is mind blowing in such a short amount of time.
The step mom is Vasquez from Aliens. You'll see her again in Predator 2 along with Bill Paxton.
She's also a passenger on the Titanic, and of course, Paxton is in that as well.
She's also in Lethal Weapon 2
And Jenette Goldstein is in a little known movie called "Near Dark". An awesome vampire movie, also starring Lance Henriksen and the late great Bill Paxton. Hopefully someone's reaction channel picks it up for a Halloween viewing!
I always recommend "Near Dark," a b-movie, but still fun, and has most of the cast from Aliens, including Vasquez, Bishop, Hicks, and Hudson.
She's not in Predator 2

I love Robert Patrick who played the T-1000 I got to meet him at a terminator 2 panel in 2022 at the steel city con in Monroeville Pennsylvania.
The T-1000 hates when you drink right from the carton.
The use of Linda’s twin sister at towards the end and the psych ward guards who were also twins was a brilliant way to capitalise on the “practical” effects without needing to use scene cuts and body doubles
After the first Terminator, nobody thought they'd ever be rooting for him in the second movie.

29:08 Such a good character moment for Sarah. She instantly dodges to safety like a footballer going in for a tackle. Second nature. Miles, a "civilian" is not used to/doesn't understand the peril they are in. The T-800 (Arnold) just sent the cops back to the stone age by lighting everything up. The SWAT team are, rightfully, going in for the kill against these people. They show up and act like terrorists. The Conners are in the right but of course the cops have no idea, plus they know a cop killer is among them, said T-800, who they think is the same "guy " from 1984 and Reseda, and the mental hospital
Kudos to the great helicopter stunt pilot Chuck Tamburro, who agreed to do the low bridge underpass TWICE (For the second one, the camera crew refused to film it, as some others pointed out, so Cameron did it himself with a stationary camera at the back of a van) in addition to all the sequences. Cameron was so happy he gave him a small cameo on the film (he's that guy bailing out of the chopper after the iconic "GET OUT". And funny enough after bailing out you can see it's his body shape flying away from the scene lol) . Any and every major action film where there's a chopper, he's the man flying it. Scarface, Predator, Die Hard, that's him.
In the first movie he said he could base his whole career on Reese . Now it looks like he's doing that to Sarah. To further his career.
'You must lower me into ze steel'. Greatest line ever.
T2 is probably the no. 1 best sequel in cinema history. Love watching you guys react to the classics that I grew up with, lol. 👍
Fun facts ... 1) during the dirt bike chase they had to tell the actor T1000 to slow down cause he kept catching the bike .. and 2 .. he trained jot to blink while firing his pistol cause he said robots wouldn't flinch.
yeah but there is no way he can outrun a dirtbike, so the bike couldn't have gone very fast, could it? of couse not!
Robert Patrick was so fast... He actually caught John on the dirt bike several times..
They had to tell him to "slow down"

@@Alex_Gordon do research yourself 🙄 it was a very small dirt bike...it doesn't go that fast
One of the best action movies ever made. Such great casting choices, too. The T1000 almost keeping up with John on the bike is so creepy and unnerving.
The T1000 may not have a scratch on it after being shattered, but in the full version, he shows signs of malfunction.
Yes, the freezing caused the mimicry glitches.
The Protectinator. As a kid in the early 90's this movie was absolutely amazing to us and still is. We were just like John Connor. "Easy Money" This was during the birth of CGI and it was mind blowing, just like Jurassic Park. They didn't depend on it, they utilized it in its infancy. There are actually two sets of twins in this, the cop's and Sarah's. I honestly cried at the end the first time. I can't lie. "It's when there's nothing wrong but, you cry any way."
Actor Robert Patrick (T-1000) was in such great shape that he ran too fast during the chase scenes. They had to reshoot some scenes because he was catching up to John on his bike. 😆
He was a track and field star at Bowling Green. Not just in shape but actually had trained as a runner
Didn't he suffer a knee injury? I kinda remember hearing that. If so, imagine how fast he'd be in the running scenes. LOL.
I love how he modelled his movements on a cat stalking prey.
14:30 Linda Hamilton does all her own lock picking in this movie. A skill she learned to make her role more authentic.
She's so lucky a boy with a mustache 🤩
Oh my 😂
A LOT Of the FX in this movie were done with practical effects whenever possible. Twin brothers were cast to do the T-1000 eye stab kill, Linda Hamilton's twin sister helped with the T-1000 Sarah scene, she played as the "Real" Sarah in the background. She also contributed to an iconic deleted scene that was added to extended cuts.
Best Sequel Ever,As Always Great Reactions Everyone,See You Both At The Next One,Katy & Otis
Cameron's original pick to play the T-1000 was rock musician Billy Idol, and storyboards had the android resembling him. However, a serious motorcycle accident prevented Idol from accepting the role, which required a prominent amount of running; Idol had been left with a temporary limp after the accident
Hello Chandra & Jordan!😊 You never forget your first time seeing T2!🤯 Nice to see Chandra has finally got to see this classic sci-fi film with breakthrough effects for the time!🏆 Great reactions to what is considered by many as the best Terminator film ever, Maplenut Kids!!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Having watched this movie a few times, I've really come to appreciate the boy's acting in this. His screams and emotions are so convincing. The overall storyline and special effects were spot on. Sarah Connor was was unbelievable. Nice reaction guys. Enjoyable. 😎👍 🤖
I've been waiting for this one.
My usual fun fact comment under Terminator 2 reactions :
In the mall scene, when T1000 puts Arnie through the window - you can see a guy with a camera taking pictures with a shocked look on his face. Usually people attribute this shock simply to the fact that he witnessed a person being thrown through the glass. However, this guy is played by the same actor who played a cop in Part One, the one who got knocked out by evil Arnie and got his police car stolen.
Its the same cop off duty in the mall, all these years later, and he's shocked because he recognizes Arnold.
For more Arnold, The Last Action Hero, Kindergarten Cop, Total Recall, Twins, True Lies
