He is a treasure and the world did loose an angel.
I recommend to hear his song in esc when he and Elisabeth Andreassen sang "DUETT".

In Norway, Sølvguttene sing every Christmas Eve at 17. The most popular are Panis Angelicus, Deilig er jorden and Glade Jul (Silent Night). But they also sing many old norwegian christmas carols and classic christmas music.

It is not unusual for Norwegians to sing Swedish songs in the original language, and they will do so for a Norwegian audience. We understand Swedish well, since we were fed Swedish TV series (no dubbing) as children. I don't know if Jan Werner was known in Sweden. He had enormous talent, and should have been known all over the place. Unfortunately, we never got to know how far he could reach. His performance of Nella Fantasia is amazing. It can be found in full version (a must!) on the "Angelvoices from Heaven" channel. The same can be said of Jan Werner's version of "You raise me up", which was composed by the Norwegian Rolf Løvland.
During MGP 2024, the Norwegian people got a surprise when Jan Werner appeared on stage in AI, when he sang "Duett" together with Elisabeth Andreassen, a song they won MGP with in 1994. They came 6th in Eurovision.
It can also be mentioned that Jan Werner was not classically schooled. Rest in peace, our beloved Jan Werner.

Great reaction. Jan Werner performed this in Swedish. Though he had a VERY good voice, no one can touch the original by Jussi. Not for ME anyway 😉 At 5:50 I guess you didn't expect that Finnish because it was Swedish 😜🤪😝 Love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥
