    hi, i am thinking about using the raw linseed oil to oil an untreated pine wood dining table. May I ask for your experience about how long does it take for it to dry? And how many coatings do you recommend to put please? Thanks a lot!

      Well it will take a few coats on pine. Plus I'd read the tin, your better off with a dainsh oil for pine. This raw oil is better for oaks and hardwoods

    Fair Play Ryan, seems cheaper than Odies and the new Vinnes Oil.

    I've got a large wooden table that I have made for outside in my back garden, I've got a large pot of Tung Oil and a large Pot of Raw linseed Oil, I want to use Oil as my wood finish, but I don't want to buy anymore Oil. Can I mix these two oils together, and use them as one slow drying hard finish Oil??

      The only trouble by mixing is that you get different consistency. you're better off coating them separately

    why use odies if raw linseed oil does the job?

    • @WestonTimberLtd
      @WestonTimberLtd  Před 2 lety +1

      Cost of the materials really Mike, £38 for 5 litres, or £100 for 1litres of odies

      @@WestonTimberLtd I understand that but why use odies at all then?
