Literally was talking about this movie with my husband the other day regarding Melinda Clarke. She was on the OC and it triggered a memory of the first time I saw the Dawn of the Dead trailer. Fox showed the first five minutes during an OC episode. My brain at the time forgot who she was. Loved her in Night of the Living Dead 3. Need to rewatch!
She’s amazing in everything she’s in. I also loved her time on The Vampire Diaries and Nikita!

I did read the book Warm Bodies back in 2017 and it was one of my favorite reads of that year

The Korean movie Zombie for Sale is more of a comedy with a romance thrown in for good measure.
I know it’s not a Zombie movie but Spring is a great love/horror movie.
Return of the Living Dead 3 is one of my favorite movies! It's so over the top yet so dark and sad. Melinda Clarke owns that movie and she does get hotter as a zombie. Life After Beth is very fun too. And Shudder just added Cemetery Man which is a must see. Haven't seen it since I was a teen need to rewatch it. It's a horror-love story that gets very weird if I remember correctly.
I need to watch this one!
One of the better zom com's that I watched in recent years is Zombie For Sale

Melinda Clarke getting hotter in her post life transformation makes Return of The Living Dead 3 😍🔥. I wanna see Lisa Frankenstein so bad cos the visuals alone look so damn cool, but it has no release date for Australia. So hopefully we can catch it on VoD
I recommend Spring (2014), although it's not zombie romance but it's horror romance and it's so underrated

I wanna see that Lisa Frankenstein movie, but I just don`t like the movie theater experience cuz it costs way too much and if ya have to go to the bathroom yer gonna miss part of it. I personally prefer the streaming experience because that way, if ya need to go to the bathroom or go get something to eat, u can just pause the movie and not miss anything.
Even though am turning 58 this Valentine`s day, I have`nt been out on a date in what seems like ages partly cuz am kinda selective.
Good lists surprisingly I've only seen one of those. That being said if you haven't seen Santa Carlita diet got three seasons on Netflix that's a good one I don't want to throw out a Shaun of the Dead I'm sort of kind of not really but Bride of Chucky and last but not least definitely much different Tammy and the T-Rex
If you like Return of the Living Dead Part III, I think you'll love Bride of ReAnimator! Love that flick so hard, probably as fun and as revolting as the 1st. And wouldn't you know it? Brian Yuzna is responsible for both films. In fact, Tarantino has a theory that Return Part III was actually written as another ReAnimator sequel and he reworked it as a Return contribution. And if you take the tonal shift and weight of the story into account, it seems obvious. Return Part III is not a comedy.
Yuzna also did Frankenhooker, more schlocky comedy Horror Scifi, but very much along the same traditional Frankensteinian route, but bringing back someone you loved, with hilariously revolting results and heartbreaking consequences.
I guess Pet Cemetery would be a Dramatized version 🤔 I'm assuming you haven't seen them, but maybe I should ask. Have you watched any other Yuzna flicks? Any ReAnimator or Frankenhooker?
I've only seen one, I've got some searching to do.

Do you have any book recommendations like these movies?
A few books off the top of my head include Married With Zombies, Undead Much, Warm Bodies…keep in mind I read these years ago so not sure how they hold up lol. I’ve also heard good things about Undead Girl Gang!

@@mandysmorgueofhorror Yeah, no hate or anything! I do like your content a lot. It's just the looped bar is unevenly edited. As a musician and music Engineer, maybe I notice it a little more? But it repeatedly grabs my attention and keeps taking me out of the video itself, and what your talking about. The loop I think is fine, but the unevenness of the edit, the lack of the ability to unconsciously head bob to it without even noticing it is rough.
In other words, it's out of time. I'm certain you could even it out tho! There's enough there to sync up the timing. I'll try to remember to be more constructive if I wanna bad mouth your stuff in the future 😅✌️
