Having a good start to the season has given the opinion of a team at a higher level of the reality. When you consider the facts, they have a manager with no premier league experience, a lot of new players, and losing the irreplaceable in Harry Kane are issues Tottenham are trying to overcome this season. The reality of spurs in my opinion is they are doing incredibly well taking the negative impacts into consideration.

What do Spurs fans want? Loosing to Man City is not going to do anything to their confidence for the future. That lack of confidence will probably be carried over to the 2024/2025 season as well. With a win the opposite will happen: chest puffed up like their mascot. They might as well roll over and let Man City have a cricket score line. The pain of Arsenal winning the title will be for a short time but they will suffer more to see their team loose week by week due to lack of confidence. Last season they were warriors against City and that is how they started this season until they faced Chelsea.
