Damn, she's good at teaching this game. I like how clear she is with base rules and gives examples. I used to view watchitplayed and he does similar stuff. I'm a little adhd with board games games so showing me live examples after explaining is golden.
I'm tempted every time I see a CMON Kickstarter, often back them and then end up pulling out due to the increasing price tag. This looks good but fortunately I already know this is gonna be out of my pay grade with the million expansions one just has to have to get the full game experience 😅

Is this exactly the same as Marvel Zombicide? Like can I play as zombies or heroes and mix and match with Marvel?
You can't play as zombies but you should be able to mix and match
Glad I am going to miss the bullet from CMON
(1) I love comic book games in general
(2) I dislike zombie themes
(3) I skipped on Marvel vs Zombies (CMON other game)
(4) I do love cross over chances (Batman vs Captain America) - You know people will mix the universes.
No FOMO for me. Resist the siren call. Or get as much as you can afford and enjoy. I don’t begrudge anyone for backing this but not for me. I will definitely check it out.
Aren't Zombicide games usually played with 6 characters? Is 4 the new normal, can it be scaled now, or is it just for this video?
yes, but Marvel Zombies and DCeased can be played with 4 or 6 Characters (i.e. there is one additional spawn zone if you play with 6)

All Zombicide games have been reskins of the same game for years.

Seems very similar to marvel zombies hero’s resistance.
Even Pokemon has more variation between games even if it's basically the same game again and again.

@@kaminowani6470 no, I don't care for them anymore. It's like buying one of the hundred different versions of love letter. At this point they all feel the same. Nothing new boring as hell. Same old mechanics on top of a new IP.
I literally just sold all of my zombicide black plague yesterday for $550 for everything, which was all unopened except the base box.

Why? If it sells then why wouldn't they. You are not required to buy it. You're not even required to watch videos advertising it. And you're even not required to comment on videos advertising it - thus pushing up its visibility in the algorithm

Basically a reskin of Marvel zombicide but still really cool. Looks like there is cross compatibility too.
You completely missed the point. This isn’t a reskin. This is much more like the older Zombicides. Marvel Zombies had the hunger mechanic which was THE distinguishing feature. That’s gone here. You can’t play as Zombies. It’s much more traditional.
@@ilqrd.6608 The hunger is just the zombie mechanic whic is replaced by the power mechanic for the heros. Still basically the same mechanic that affects the heros attacks and actions. I have nothing against this game. I love zombicide. The reskin is just using DC heros on map tiles that look very similar marvels.
To be fair. All Zombicide games are a reskin with slightly updated/modified mechanics. And I love all of them, lol.
This identical to marvel zombies hero’s resistance. It’s fun, no doubt, but luckily I’m more of a marvel fan than dc and just might have enough zombicide already (and coming) to resist backing DCeased.
I honestly don't care that these are paid for previews. They would end up paying for, whether they pay somebody in-house to do it or somebody out of house the advantage to out of house is that we are hearing it from people who we and we can better Gauge what they are saying due to our established understanding.

I get that, but practically speaking if I want to work with my friends, I have to pay them. CZcams is a lot of fun but it doesn't pay well on its own. 95% of the content on this channel is still unpaid.
Not sure why this video being sponsored matters. It’s a preview, so treat it like a gameplay trailer.
For returning players, vast majority will already have decided if they want this or not, so this video is most useful for people new to zombiecide, for which the video is excellent because it gives a flavor for the game without having to be as detailed or precise as a how-to-play or rules video.
Why? A preview is basically just an overview. That’s what this is. Can you not form your own opinion?
Why not? Creators need to make an income to continue doing what they do. A preview like this gave zero opinion as it was a straight-up demo and the content wouldn't have changed an iota whether it was paid for or not.
