You'll appreciate we can't give you legal advice - and it's always very fact-specific. As a general comment, you'd want to look to see if the HA had shown you a policy about use of company email systems and what it said. But it does get very fact-specific (contents of that notice, local law, type of emails, context eg disciplinary, investigations etc) so do look for appropriate legal advice.
Shouldn't privacy be assumed, why are they asking you to consent with yes/no options? What are you actually consenting to?
